Actually, she didn't want to transfer schools at all!

There wasn't a better school than First High School in Rao City. But even after putting up a protest at home last night, there was no point—it was set. Her father personally took her to school this morning to get this done and over with.

What made things worse was that she wasn't even being transferred to Yingcai High School. Instead, it was Fifth High School, a school that was a whole notch below First High School in every way.

Qiao Chen felt awful deep down. Her heart raced, and if not for the fact that she was in the principal's office, she might have lost control of her emotions…

"What's there to thank me for?" Principal Yu smiled and then said to the man in a suit, "In that case, Chairman Qiao, you can go ahead with the procedure."

The principal wasn't responsible for processing the paperwork of transfer students. They needed to head to another department for that.

Qiao Weimin knew this procedure. He nodded and was about to take Qiao Chen there.

But at this point, someone knocked on the door.

"Reporting."

The voice sounded a little wild.

He furrowed his brows and quickly found this voice familiar.

Principal Yu moved past them and headed for the door. "Come on in!"

They saw a girl enter. She was in a hoodie dress which revealed her long legs. Her almond-shaped face was pretty and exquisite while her lashes curled upwards beautifully. This girl was beautiful with a hint of wildness. Who else could this be but Qiao Nian?!

Qiao Chen clenched her fist once again. Her face was pale from the lack of rest and her eyes were full of fury!

"Qiao Nian, you're here?" Too bad nobody in the office cared about how she felt. Principal Yu had only been civil and diplomatic towards them. Now, his smile as he approached Qiao Nian was genuinely kind and hospitable.

"Good morning, Principal." Qiao Nian had just reached school and put her bag down when she was called to the principal's office. She looked like she'd just woken up and was slightly annoyed, her voice a little hoarse.

Principal Yu wasn't bothered by her attitude. He invited her in with a huge smile and said, "So, I got you here today because I have something to discuss with you."

Qiao Nian only noticed the others when she entered the office. Besides Principal Yu, Qiao Weimin and Qiao Chen were around too. Also, another two men and a lady were sitting on the couch, sipping some tea.

When they saw her, the three of them put down their teacups and sized her up.

The lady in a silver blazer looked at Qiao Nian as if she was trying to bore a hole through her. It made her uncomfortable.

Principal Yu smilingly led her to the three of them. "Come here, Nian Nian, let me introduce you. They're recruitment teachers from Qing University's Medical Faculty. Teacher Gu, Teacher Wang, and…"
