Chapter 160: What About a More Adorable Pose?
The handsome man’s lips curled up. He held the necklace before her and said in his deep, flirtatious voice, “I’ll put it on for you.”
His breath brushed past her ears, as his entire figure seemed to loom over her from the back. It felt unusual.
Her heart tensed up all of a sudden.
She was getting nervous.
Qiao Nian intuitively wanted to avoid him.
But the tall man got in her way. His warm hands were already on her neck as his low, magnetic voice reverberated by her ears.
“Don’t move about, it’ll be done right away.”
Qiao Nian was becoming frustrated.
Her hands clenched into fists.
Her heart pounded quickly.
Was this still within the boundaries of good friends?
But Ye Wangchuan looked like such a gentleman, and she couldn’t pinpoint anything wrong with him or his actions. She was afraid it would be just like before—she reading too much into it on her own.
Fortunately, Ye Wangchuan simply put on the necklace for her and did not make any more ambiguous moves. He took half a step back.
He squinted slightly as he looked at her. It was as if there were many thoughts hidden in the depths of his eyes.
Then, he said—
“Oh right, can I take a picture?”
Qiao Nian disliked taking pictures.
She didn’t have many pictures of herself all these years.
She furrowed her brows.
But the classy man had already come up with a reason she couldn’t refuse. “Chen Chen is sleeping now. I want to take a picture so I can show it to him tomorrow.

Qiao Nian exhaled and eased her frown. She surrendered. “I won’t move, you can snap a picture.”

Ye Wangchuan’s rosy lips curled upwards. He took his time to get his cell phone and then aimed the camera directly at her.
He snapped a picture and then looked away from the cell phone, saying to her, “Nian Nian, your expression is a little too stiff. Can you change your pose?”
She didn’t really know how to pose for pictures in the first place… Qiao Nian was a little lost but wanted to do it right since she’d already agreed to this.
“What pose should I change it to?”
Ye Wangchuan’s eyes were deep like the ocean and vast like the sky. His tone was rather gentle. “Since this picture is for a child, why don’t you have a more adorable one?”
A more adorable one? In all 18 years of Qiao Nian’s life, she’d never heard of such a request.
She could do anything in the world, including hacking into Rao City’s network system. But to get her to pose adorably? Was this not too much to ask of her?
In the end, she took a few more shots like a string wooden puppet. Only then was she done with it.
She didn’t have much energy to do anything else after the “photo shoot”. She sent him off, shut the door, and then fell asleep on the bed without even turning off her laptop.

Qiao Weimin could hardly keep the smile on his face. However, as he had something to ask of her, he had to remain polite and subservient. He asked cautiously, “Do you know the old Chairman of Cheng Feng Corporation?”
Qiao Nian was a little shocked that he knew about it.
Seeing that she did not deny immediately, Qiao Weimin had his answer. He quickly added, “I saw you at the lobby of Cheng Feng Corporation the other time.
“I need you to help me ask Chairman Yuan out for a meal.”
Qiao Nian’s expression remained cold. She didn’t even consider it as she continued forward. “I don’t have the time.”
