Fu Ge seemed distracted the whole night. He replied coldly, “Have a good rest.”
Qiao Chen recalled that he would want to kiss her usually. But it seemed that he wasn’t interested. She could tell from his handsome face that he was getting impatient with her.
Qiao Chen felt that her smile was forced.
Her heart sank.
She clenched her fists as she cursed Qiao Nian in her heart. She then forced a smile and said, “I will. Brother Fu, you should head back and rest early as well. I’ll call you later.”
However, Fu Ge rejected her. “It’s too late already. We should skip the call. You should sleep early tonight. We can talk tomorrow.”
Qiao Chen was speechless.
She was getting angry.
No matter how busy or tired he was, he would call her daily even when he was studying in Beijing. Why was he not calling tonight?

She clenched her fist even more and yelled uncontrollably, “Brother Fu…”
Fu Ge broke out of his daze. Then, he saw that his girlfriend was tearing up. Suddenly, he felt that he was getting impatient.
He passed her the bag she left in the car and said, “I’m sorry, I was thinking about my thesis and got distracted. This is your bag, rest well.”
It was such a bad excuse that Qiao Chen couldn’t bring herself to believe it, but she didn’t dare to expose him.
It was easy for Fu Ge to change girlfriends.
But it took her great effort to enter the Fu family.

Even though she was heartbroken by him, she didn’t dare to expose him. She didn’t dare to even start a fight.
