He even turned to look at the students in the lecture hall.

The person next to him was shocked by his sudden action and turned as well. But all he saw were students.

Qiao Nian already knew that Qiao Chen was seated in the front. She kept her phone after replying to the messages and said nonchalantly, “Qiao Chen has been like that for her whole life. You must have known already.”

Cheng Yuan scoffed with disdain. “That’s true.”

“I just find that they’re a bunch of idiots!

“They should have known about the scarcity mindset. No wonder they couldn’t be considered as a part of the upper echelon of society!”

The professor from Qing university finally revealed himself after the principal finished his opening speech.

He looked like he was in his forties. He was wearing a checkered shirt with cotton pants—a stereotypical dressing style for engineers. His shirt was buttoned up all the way, making him look serious.

But he was really handsome. Hence, his dressing didn’t affect how good he looked.

He had nice facial features.

However, he seemed to frown quite a bit and he had some wrinkles. But he looked full of energy. When you coupled his height and his subtle mature demeanor, he was really attractive.

He wasn’t quick in his speech. He started by talking about some of the interesting areas in learning.

He incorporated humor in his speech and there would be applause as he spoke.

Liang Bowen was paying attention to him as well. Suddenly, he turned to look at Qiao Nian.

He felt that something was amiss. He frowned and turned to look at the professor again.

Then, he turned to look at the girl who was clearly uninterested in the lecture.

He couldn’t hold it in anymore and asked, “Sister Nian, why do you look somewhat like the professor from Qing University?”

When he spoke, everyone turned to look at her.

Now that he mentioned it, they really looked alike.

He didn’t mean what he said and never connected Qiao Nian with a professor from Qing University. He then continued, “Attractive people look like each other, anyway. It must be a coincidence.”
