Soul For A Girlfriend? Chapter 134

I returned after a long day at school. Well, typically it wasn't really a long day, but I like to make myself feel better by saying that so that it looks like I did something productive rather than bullshitting around.
I walked up to the front door and rang the bell, waiting for Lilith to open the door. After waiting for some time, there was still no response. I grabbed the doorknob and turned it slightly.
To my surprise, it was locked, and with a clicking sound, the door opened. Keeping note of her careless attitude, I went in and closed the door behind. Well, not that anything can happen on Lilith's watch. Despite that, it's careless.
Keeping my shoes on the shelf, I headed towards my room. And it seemed like she wasn't in my room either. That was weird since it's been some time since Lilith has gone off somewhere without telling me.
I laid down on the bed and started undoing the button of my shirt. It was scorching outside, so I picked up the AC remote and turned it on, too. Loosening my tie, I closed my eyes and put my right arm above them.
I was thinking about some things that Naoto said today which appeared as discrepancies in her behaviour. It seems like she hates the attention she gets, or maybe she hates the expectations that people put on her.
She was relieved at some point to see her club doing well, but she didn't want to take any initiative for it herself. Could it be that this responsibility was thrown at her without her will?
But that doesn't explain her carefree attitude about her relationship with Vivian. One thing that I can deduce is that she loves Kendo, but there the question arises that if she loved it, why is she acting like this toward her club?

She was also someone everyone looked up to in her club, so of course, if she started being so casual about the conduct of her club, the members would follow her.
Assuming from what Yuna and Ryuhan said, it seems like she is like this in other aspects of her life too. As for Vivian, he looks way too done with Naoto's bullshit. I can slowly understand why their relationship didn't work.
I don't find any reason for an ambitious person like her to suddenly gear down her life. That's like saying if Gaisen suddenly decided to be a himbo and left everything.
The only reason I can think of is a passive reaction to the soul that is inside her. Though this might be the first case, where the soul is affecting the vessel this much. I have to ask Lilith about it.
I heard the door open with a creaking sound, and footsteps coming to an abrupt stop. Some sweet scent hit my nose strongly, as I removed my arm to take a look at her.
In front of the door stood the petite figure of Lilith with a surprised expression on her face. Her silver hair, wet from the shower she took probably and the scent of soap radiating from her.
Water dripping from the ends of her hair, and a towel wrapped around her body that made her hourglass figure appear more prominent than ever. My eyes met with her, as her pale face was getting red.
She quickly stepped out and instantly slammed the door shut. I stood up, my heart pounding fast at what I witnessed. For a virgin like me, this scene was far beyond reality to grasp, let alone experience.
"Why the hell are you home early!?" She yelled from behind the door. With an irritated sigh, she added, "Can't even take a shower in peace!"

After a tad bit of awkward silence between us, I said, "Umm… I can come home anytime I want."
"Shut up!" She slammed her hand on the door. She was so embarrassed that it could be heard in her voice, "I need to change, my clothes are in there."
Looking at this marvellous opportunity to tease her, I started, "Oya Oya… What situation do we have here?"
Of course it would be a shame if I let something like this slip away from my hands. And after the crappy day at school, I would be honest that this sight made my day.
"Sakamaki!! I'm not in the mood to play your jokes right now!" she yelled in her high-pitched voice.
An embarrassed Lilith is the best Lilith.
"Devil-chan, I'm not even kidding, just come in." I casually replied, trying my best to keep a straight tone.
"No!"
"Then stay there with a towel."
"Are you testing me, Human?!" She called a human after so many days. I remember the time when she first came here, she used to call me by the term human rather using my name.
"Am I?"
"Sakamaki!" She was whining, and I had a feeling that she would break the door any moment and bonk me.
Turning the knob, I opened the door slowly and looked at a very flustered Lilith. As my eyes met her glaring crimson one's. Laughing awkwardly, I said, "Jeez… chill out… I'm coming out…"
I opened the door wide and walked out as she quickly rushed inside and closed the door enough to peek from beside it. Taking her head out, she threatened, "I'll make you pay for this…"
"Oya… is that so?"
"Just wait and see…"
A smile formed on my face, as I said, "Yeah, I already saw a lot!"
Her face was even more flustered now, as with a grunt, she slammed the door on my face. "Agh!"
She is really annoying and sometimes a bitch, but I have to say that she is really cute sometimes. But anyway, that's not something I should think about right now.
Fiddling on my mobile, I was walking around the empty room. I was replying to Yuna Senpai's text as she was asking me about how my little conversation with Naoto went today. Well, thanks to her, I got some one-on-one time with her.
As I was about to sit on the couch, the mobile vibrated, as there was the notification of an incoming call. Looking at the caller ID, my heart dropped for a few seconds.
I absolutely wasn't expecting her to call me right now. And why is she even calling me? What does she need?
This is going to be a drag!

Keys of the Endpoint is an illustrated web serial about the re-birth of civilization in a fantastical world suffering from a recent apocalyptic event. Every day, people appear from the storms that ravage the Endpoint. Whisked away from their own time and place by storms in their homelands, these newcomers find themselves in a hostile place made up of ruins and people from every timeline imaginable. Stranger still, they all soon discover they're carrying silver keys that grant each holder incredible powers. On Earth, most people have mundane excuses for the disappearances, but not Isaac. Having lost his brother Finn to one of these storms, Isaac becomes obsessed with finding a pattern. Not to prevent more people disappearing, but rather to get taken by the storms himself in order to find his brother. While chasing Finn’s faint trail, Isaac soon discovers how little he really knew about himself, his brother and how much loss one person can take. In Keys of the Endpoint there's portal fantasy, personal drama, magic (useable by everyone), plenty of combat, power progression, mysteries, factions, feuds and eventually war (in that order). The magic system is well defined and modular with nigh infinite combinations. The story starts out with one of the two main characters looking for his lost brother but quickly expands in scope from that point on. The book of forever
An experimental diary of sorts recounting my life and experiences, written as a slightly whimsical scifi story about setting off from the past to unknown lands, rebuilding from nothing and finding myself again. The first section of the book contains matched chapters, a chapter for a interlude, both happening at the same time roughly The second section of the book contains more one off stories as we follow one of the travelers explore their heart as well as a unknown land, growing in the process. All of the text here was written in 10 syllable chunks, this reads like a epic of sorts, just with more philosophical focus and POV jumps. Hope you enjoy! >Updates may be sporadic as I only write when I have something about myself I want to share The chapters can all be read individually, although there may be some crossovers between them they work as single poems. You start at whatever chapter you want since these are a collection of roughly connected poems (although you'll notice tie ins and references to eachother)
