Soul For A Girlfriend? Chapter 127

It was lunchtime, and I was standing near the doorway while talking with Gaisen and Tsumen. Tsumen was quite excited and nervous at the same time as the sports festival was just in two days.
It differed from last week as when I walked to school today; I noticed the banners of the sports festival hanging near the entrance and flags were flying high in the playground. Students and the teachers in charge were refurbishing the tracks and courts.
Students were quite lively too. I could see some of my classmates leaving, as they were probably going for the selection process since Gaisen and Kana submitted the name list of the participants.
I noticed Kana and Kizhashi walking towards us while arguing with each other, as usual. Reina and Saki were behind them, talking with each other. Their dynamic was quite contrasting as two friends always fight while the other two are chill with each other. No matter how much they hate each other, I know none of them actually mean the things they say.
"Ora! Kana, you'll see how I beat you this year." I heard Kizhashi's enthusiastic voice and the confident smile that was on her face.
"Didn't you say that last year, too? Huh?" Kana rolled her eyes, which of course, she did to piss Kizhashi off.
"Well, I just wish both of you good luck." Saki patted both of them on the shoulder with a warm smile. Well, that's just her normal expression, to be honest. She is always smiling now but more genuinely. She is a nice girl.
"No, don't wish for her. Un-luck her!" Kizhashi turned towards Saki and told her while nodding her head from left to right in denial.
"Unluck? You mean bad luck?" Reina tilted her head and narrowed her eyes at her.

"Yes! Whatever is bad, do that." Kizhashi nodded as they stopped in front of us.
"Oh Kana…" Tsumen waved at her and she waved back.
"Hey there, Tsumen..." She greeted her and then looked over at Gaisen and me and smiled while raising her eyebrows in a manner to ask us how we were.
"Bruh, why can't you two be normal like them." Gaisen clicked his tongue and looked at them with a tired expression.
"I'm normal. It's her… she is the abnormal one here." Kizhashi said, pointing at Kana, who was adjusting her bangs.
"Yeah normal people call bad luck as unluck." She retorted and laughed.
"Oh my fuc..." Kizhashi was about to curse but Kana interrupted her midway, "Oh no she is going to un-luck me."
"Bruh, the IQ of this conversation is lower than the crime rate here." I commented in a plain tone that I definitely thought would get ignored, but they stopped arguing and glared at me.
"Hah! Good one Saishi." Tsumen patted my shoulder with a chuckle.
"Bruh opens his mouth and insults both of them at once," Gaisen shook his head slightly with a smile as both of them were standing there looking at me. Probably thinking of a good comeback.
"What a Chad!" Tsūmen pointed towards me.
"Areh… so How's things going with senpai?" Suddenly a smug formed on Kana's face that I knew in an instant that things aren't going to end well for me now.
"Wha…"
"Oh Kana, you do not know how deep in love he is with Senp… ouch!" Tsūmen wrapped his arm around my shoulder as both Kana and he chuckled at this.
Birds of the same feather flock together. Forming a fist and turning my knuckle towards his back, I drove a playful punch and he slouched a bit.

I turned my gaze towards Reina as our eyes met. It looked like she was planning to ask something that she did nervously, "Oh yeah, did you really ask Tsubakihara senpai out?"
"Why this sudden change of topic?" I said, but what caught my attention was a stiff expression on her face that she was hiding behind the playful smile. The way she was nervous while talking with me reminds me of how she was back when she was a target.
"I forgot to ask you about it last week." She shrugged.
"He did." Tsūmen answered it instead of me.
"A...and got rejected?" Saki said instantly as her hazel eyes shifted from Tsumen to me and then back at him.
"You don't have to rub it on my face like that." I said with a sigh.
"Oh no! I didn't mean it like that." She shook her palm in an apologetic manner. Some things never change.
"You seem happy." I asked, looking at the relieved expression on her face and instantly became red as I said that.
"No no… that's just how my face is." She defended herself, but Kana was now on her way to tease the heck out of her.
"Oh Saki, you're so cute!" She pulled her cheeks and laughed. Tsūmen and Gaisen were obviously confused at what was happening as they were looking at me with a confused look.
"No… wait..." Saki was always awkward in situations like this. But why is she acting this way? It reminds me of my time with her.
Somewhere in my mind, I think there's a possibility that their memories are not completely sealed. I'm in huge trouble, if that's the case. I have to talk to Lilith about this.
"You seriously are crazy if you went for her." Reina chuckled, and I gave her an awkward smile.
"Hey Kizashi-san," I heard someone call Kizhashi's voice, and I turned towards the voice and met with a pair of irritated eyes glaring at Kizhashi.
"Uye...no-san?" Kizhashi said in confusion and narrowed her eyes. Of course I understand why Uyeno is here. Seems like she decided on the first choice.
I noticed Gaisen looking at me with a serious expression, since he told me about the entire ordeall regarding Kizhashi. I noticed that Nishimiya was standing outside the class too with Isobe next to him.
Gaisen and he were talking in sign language but it seems like Nishimiya also had no idea what Uyeno was doing. Judging from the look on Isobe's face, I'm pretty sure she knows what's going on.
"Hello Uyeno-san, long time no see." Gaisen looked at Uyeno and greeted her politely. Uyeno looked at him with a stiff expression, but a smile formed on her face that was as fake as the power of friendship in shōnen manga.
I'm going to enjoy this so much.

Storm of the Elementals
The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.

There were no boundaries, it was endless, nothing to indicate that there was something within the distance. He grasped his hands and looked upwards towards the sky as he lifted his hands up. A dark void appeared in front of him, but only to disappear once again. Voices entered his thoughts, pain struck his head, he gripped onto his hair and groaned in agony. He looked forward and saw an image blurred in front of him, fading in and out. “Young one... “ the blurred image simply spoke. The young boy didn’t say anything and only looked down at his wound on his chest. It was a large gaping hole that passed through him, however there was no blood spilling out from it, the veins and arteries only dangled in place where a heart was supposed to be. Realising the cause of this scene the boy asked. “Am… I dead?” “Hahaha, no not at all.” A wispy tired voice simply chuckled “Then… what do you want with a dead man… but my hands...boy?” “ Well Do you…” “Do I?” “Want to change fate?” Welcomed edits and suggestions.
