Soul For A Girlfriend? Chapter 58

Yasurouka's POV
Never have they ever heard someone sing so badly. Koi had a good voice, soft, low pitched and feminine. But when she sings, she is completely off the notes. That's why her singing comes out as horrible.
Koi was singing with her eyes closed. She was in the zone while singing and couldn't care less about what others were thinking.
Did she not know that she was a horrific singer?
She did. It's just she doesn't care. All she knows is that she is having fun right now. She was more of a living in the present type of person.
I looked at her as the light inside the room illuminated her blonde hair. The beat dropped in the music. She brought the mic closer to her mouth and her head started moving side to side with the rhythm as her ponytail swayed with it too.
The song went on for a couple of minutes, and so did her singing session. After she finished, there was an awkward silence inside the room and all of us were staring at each other. Everyone was probably thinking how they should put their words on so that Koi wouldn't feel bad.
She put the mic down on the table and looked at us with an awkward smile. "Ah, guys I know I'm a terrible singer."
"Ayo, it's not like that." Haruka said, showing her his palm and an awkward smile on his face.
"Yeah it wasn't terrible, you know" Uyeno joined in after her boyfriend.
"It was quite terrible, actually." Isobe said with a nod.
"Shut up." Uyeno scolded her, as they laughed among themselves.
"Ah, don't worry guys, I just wanted to enjoy myself. Sorry for making your ears bleed." Koi also joined them and laughed.
"I like the fact that you know how bad you are." I commented, because why not?

"Oi, Yasurouka-san… come one…" Haruka looked at me with a funny expression.
"Hmph! Don't embarrass me, I'm quite embarrassed already." Koi pouted.
"I mean… look at the brighter side…"
"What?" She looked at me curiously.
"They witnessed someone sing this badly for the first time. Like it's rare…" I looked at the cringe on her face, and looked around as everyone was listening to me carefully.
"Can you shut up?" She sighed.
"Ah yes… I can." I said, and there was a moment of laughter among us. I took my mobile to check the time, and it was 5:30 pm already.
"How long will the food take?" I asked Haruka as he was the one to order the food.
"Well the lady said it'll be served in fifteen minutes." He answered.
"Let's go to the washroom then." Isobe got up and dragged Kichirou with her towards the door.
"He… oi… wait…" Kichirou couldn't say anything as it was quite sudden, even for us. Me and Koi were looking at them. She glanced at me and the corners of her lips curved as I was also giving her a side glance. We were thinking the same thing at that moment.
"I'm going to the washroom too." Uyeno got up from her seat and walked towards the door.
"What's with you all raiding the washroom?" Haruka asked, and chuckled.
"I'll take over every washroom here." Kichirou said imitating the voice of some cartoon villain lord or something.
"Why?" Haruka stares at him with much disappointment in his eyes.
"I don't know, felt sexy." He shrugged with a straight face. And I used to think that Sakamaki was weird. Clearly, this guy is weirder.
"Please go." Haruka sighed, as Isobe and Uyeno laughed at this exchange between them. It was funny, as I was smiling too.

"Well, you know you want those washrooms, boy." He wiggled his eyebrows at him.
"I don't. Seriously." Haruka directly denies his claim without a second thought. Well, actually, if he gave it a second thought, then it would have been really weird.
"Well… what a disappointment. My day has been ruined." Kichirou shook his head.
"I'm happy that your day got ruined. I hope this month gets ruined too for you." Haruka said.
"Well, why leave the year? Might as well ruin that too." I commented.
"Yes good call, Yasurouka-san" He showed me a thumb up gesture and looked back at him.
"Well jokes on you, it's already ruined." Kichirou laughed in a sarcastic tone.
"Let's go, Kichi-kun" Isobe and he left the room, followed by Uyeno.
Before leaving, I noticed Uyeno glancing at Haruka as she closed the door behind her. What a weird girl. Well, I guess being like this is normal when you're in love with someone.
In the room, the three of us were sitting and Koi was making small talks with Haruka.
"I actually didn't think that Uyeno-san sings so well." Koi complimented Uyeno.
"Well, I actually didn't think you suck so bad at singing." Haruka completely disregards her compliment and straight up roasts her.
"Ah, stop! I know I suck." She was embarrassed, as her cheeks were red.
"Well, just a friendly reminder that yes you do suck." Haruka chuckled.
"If you say that one more time…" Koi glared at him.
"Yasurouka-san, you agree with me too, right?" Looking at her expression, Haruka turned towards me for assist.
"I mean it is what it is." I didn't have much to say, so I said something that might seem like I'm going along with their joke a bit at the same time, but it doesn't sound rude to Koi.
"Reinaaaa" Koi held my shoulder and shook it.
"See." Haruka shrugged as he got an affirmation from me.
"What!?" I said to Koi, who was violently shaking me.
"Ah shut your trap, double timer-kun" Haruka was insulted like that.
"Well, as if I didn't see it coming." Haruka narrowed his eyes on her with a cheeky smile on his face.
"Ah, actually, I didn't expect you to come. It's rare to see you hang with Uyeno and her friends." His gaze shifted towards me.
"Really? Am I that obvious?" I asked.
"Kind of… yeah." Both of them said in unison.
"Well, Gaisen couldn't come, and she didn't want to come alone… so I tagged along with her." I said, exactly what happened.
"Yeah, like he told me, he will be busy later. I was like, I already reserved the room." Haruka nodded and took out his mobile from his pocket.
"Well, I'm enjoying it even without him so it's good for me." Koi said with much carefree tone and cheerfully.
"Well, of course you'll enjoy it. I'm here." Haruka said with a proud expression.
"Yes, quite the clown you are." Koi chuckled. It seems like they live to roast each other.
"I… uh…" Haruka stared at her face blankly, thinking of a good comeback, since she literally made him speechless.
"Don't call him a clown…" I decided to interfere between them.
"Wha…?" Both of them turned their heads towards me and looked at me in surprise.
"He is the whole circus." I continued my sentence. As I said that, Koi bursted out laughing while Haruka was once again speechless.
"You had me in the first half, not going to lie." He sighed.
"Anyway, Guys I'm going to the washroom too." I wanted to pee, because the AC was blasting.
