I Am A Prodigy Chapter 620

The Sichuan Province and Tibet were considered rural regions in China. Meanwhile, they were located right between the borders—all the more desolate.
However, the flow of luxury cars never stopped. Along with the increased ratio of martial artists that caught Ye Lingchen's attention.
What were these people doing all the way here? He was sure that it was not just because of the International Medical Association.
"Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Su Qingxue."
Due to the unique way Ye Lingchen was dressed and his mysterious behavior, people would normally leave him be. However, someone acted out of the norm, and that person was seated right next to him.
He was seated in the middle of the bus. On his right was a young woman of around 20 years old.
She had a thin rose gold jacket and a pair of black-framed glasses, giving off a beautiful and artistic flair. She was a beauty who was on par with Zhang Yunxi and Xiao Feifei in terms of appearance.
Without him realizing it, Ye Lingchen had unknowingly sat next to such a beautiful young woman. More to his surprise was this quiet and graceful woman initiating a conversation with him.
If he was not wearing a mask, it might be due to his dashing looks, but at that moment…
"Hello, I'm Ye Lingchen."
Ye Lingchen nodded slightly.
Hearing his tone, Su Qingxue could roughly estimate his age, making him easier to talk to. She immediately became a lot more open and started chatting about almost anything with Ye Lingchen.
Just like Ye Lingchen, she was still a university student in Nanking City. She took the opportunity to come over for vacation during the winter holidays. The more rural an area, the more beautiful the scenery, making it ideal for tourism. This area was surrounded by mountain ranges, earning it the nickname of Forest City.
"Is that big guy your friend? He's way too bulky. I've watched the NBA, but he's even bigger than the so-called Tarzan, O'Neal," Su Qingxue whispered while pointing at Ali.

"Yeah, he practiced boxing," Ye Lingchen replied with a laugh.
"No wonder." Surprisingly, Su Qingxue did not seem intimidated but instead started chatting more passionately with Ye Lingchen.
The girl was quite beautiful, but she was too trusting and had little awareness of danger. Otherwise, she might have...ulterior motives.
Ye Lingchen utilized his senses and discovered that she was just an ordinary girl, not a martial artist. Even a regular guy would never have the gall to mingle with a combo like Ye Lingchen and Ali.
"Lingchen, you're headed to the International Medical Association, aren't you?" Su Qingxue asked out of the blue.
'Just as I thought!'
Ye Lingchen finally figured out the reason.
Realizing that Ye Lingchen was maintaining his silence, Su Qingxue quickly explained, "Please don't misunderstand, I've just heard others mention that many people would come to this area to undergo the International Medical Association's review. Moreover, in order to avoid unnecessary troubles, they would often hide their appearance."
After a moment of silence, Ye Lingchen nodded.
"Wow, that means you've managed to develop a new medicine? That's amazing." Su Qingxue exclaimed and looked at Ye Lingchen with her wide-opened eyes. "I'm in the medical field and have great interest in medicine. You must be very skilled in medicine, right?"
"It's nothing much. Just a lucky break." Ye Lingchen did not plan to dwell on that topic.
Su Qingxue's interest was piqued. Just as she was about to say something, the bus suddenly stopped.
A fearsome-looking young man with tattoos on his arms boarded the bus. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt and a gold necklace.
In that young man's mouth was a stick of cigarette. The driver did not dare stop him, nor did he collect the fare. Instead, he merely greeted him. "Brother Leo."
Brother Leo had a heavy build. His body would sway as he walked. He smugly swept a glance over all the passengers. Suddenly, his eyes brightened and strode toward Ye Lingchen's direction.

"You, go to the back!"
He stood right beside Ye Lingchen. His tone left no room for discussion.
All the while, his gaze was fixated on Su Qingxue as his eyes gleamed excitedly.
Su Qingxue's brows frowned slightly, then looked away and moved closer to the window.
He waited for a moment and his expression darkened as Ye Lingchen did not reply. He finally looked at Ye Lingchen with a threatening glare and demanded, "Move to the back!"
Ye Lingchen finally raised his head. "You're talking to me?"
"Do you see another person here? You're lucky I'm in a good mood today, or I would've slapped you already!" Brother Leo sneered.
To him, Ye Lingchen was small and frail—nothing to worry about. He was only wearing a mask to put on a show.
Nobody around them dared to voice out. It was better to stay as far away from thugs like that as possible.
Seeing Ye Lingchen staying calm and collected without any reaction, he felt ignored. Brother Leo narrowed his eyes and was just about to yell again before he felt his body being lifted.
With his legs off the ground, he felt his heart skip a beat. Turning around, he was immediately shocked.
All he saw was a gigantic figure, lifting him in the air like one would a baby chick.
All his words got stuck in his throat. He did not even dare let out a peep.
Ali's body was twice the size of an average adult, with his height being over two meters. The rock hard muscles on his body were bulging all over as though mountains that moved. When he stood up, the bus seemed crammed.
"Big brother, have mercy please." Brother Leo immediately lost his courage.
Ali grinned, revealing teeth, and somehow seeming all the more terrifying. "I heard that you wanted to hit Young Master Ye's face?"
Smack!
A slap landed on Brother Leo's face.
Ali's palm could almost cover Brother Leo's entire face. That one slap knocked him silly. After that, Ali lifted Brother Leo like a dead animal and threw him a dozen meters away from the bus like a ball.
The bus once again regained its peace, with everyone looking at Ali respectfully. Even their breathing became slightly labored.
"Thank you," Su Qingxue thanked Ye Lingchen.
Ye Lingchen merely responded with a nod.
The bus continued for some distance. Right then, the driver could not help but give them a warning, "Dear brother, that person earlier is a thug from this region. He has many gang members. I'm afraid this matter won't end well. You should get off and start running."
"Doesn't matter," Ye Lingchen replied nonchalantly.
The driver shook his head, then kept to himself.
Su Qingxue wanted to voice out, but seeing Ye Lingchen keeping to himself as he meditated, she felt a little frustrated.
10 minutes later…
Vroom, vroom, vroom!
Five intimidating looking motorcycles sped at them. Each motorcycle had two passengers wearing black leather shirts and a helmet. They were chasing the bus from behind at full speed!
The five motorcycles stopped in front of the bus as the people shouted profanities. 10 pairs of eyes were staring coldly at them.
The bus was forced to stop.
The 10 people took out baseball bats from the bottom of their motorcycles and swung it about.
One of them took off their helmet. It was Brother Leo who was thrown out earlier. Right then, his face was bruised but still managed to have a smug expression on his face. "Who hit me earlier? Come and face your doom!"
