I Am A Prodigy Chapter 578

"God Ye, don't move."
"Oh."
Ye Lingchen was surprised and immediately turned around cooperatively for a picture with Hao Yun. He was standing right under a pine tree with a stream nearby that flowed down from the mountain.
Snap!
The stream trickled down the mountainside, creating beautiful scenery.
It immediately turned into a beautiful scene of a Daoist in nature without the need for photoshop.
"Smile. Sigh, look at the screen. Alright, done." Hao Yun happily approached Ye Lingchen to show him her phone. "How is it? I didn't ruin your appearance as an idol right?"
Ye Lingchen glanced at it, then laughed, "Yo, your photo shooting skills are quite good. It matches my looks."
With them being in close proximity, Hao Yun sniffled her nose, then moved closer to take a whiff from Ye Lingchen's odor with a weird expression. There was a nice scent that felt pleasant to her.
"You used cologne?" Hao Yun gave Ye Lingchen a puzzled look.
With that, Dong Miaomiao too walked closer and took a whiff, then immediately turned scarlet. "This is not the smell of cologne. How could you, a guy, have body fragrance?"
The scent was not a recent discovery for them. However, they had never got so close to him before. When they smelled it, it gave them a kind of indescribable comfort. They wanted more of it but felt shy.
It was just the same as how guys would like the scent of a girl; girls would also find the scent of a guy irresistible.
"Is it? Maybe that's the smell of my charms." Ye Lingchen laughed it off.
In truth, it had to do with his improved physical traits. Both the Water Spirit Constitution and Wood Spirit Constitution were unique constitutions. It was equivalent to him carrying the smell of nature on him. According to the theory of genetic evolution, that should produce a type of attraction for normal people. Add his cultivation to that, and his body was in perfect shape. It was not odd for his body to carry a nice scent.

"You seducer!" Dong Miaomiao once again shot him a disgusted look. For a moment, she felt afraid of looking directly at Ye Lingchen.
They continued forward and came to another stream halfway up the mountain.
The stream's water was crystal clear. Warm rays of the sun shone through, illuminating the sand and gravel on the bottom of the stream, shimmering like the stars blinking at them.
The stream flowed along the hill downwards, hitting the rocks with a melodic sound.
When Ye Lingchen took part in Life's Struggles, the environment was handpicked by the program team. Although it was nice, compared to where he stood, one could tell the difference immediately. That place was the real natural world separated from their world.
"Wow, God Ye, come have a look. This stream has a lot of fish. Such a big carp." The stream was crystal clear, enabling Hao Yun to see the fishes swimming in it. "There too. So many fish!"
"Oh my, the fishes here are at least a kilogram each. They've grown so fat!" Dong Miaomiao chimed in.
In front of them was a deeper area. They saw a few big carp leading a few baby carps, hiding in between the rocks when alerted to human presence.
The two girls were ecstatic and wanted badly to jump into the water to catch fish.
Ye Lingchen laughed, then rolled up his pants and went in the water.
The stream was cooling. As it gently flowed past their legs, it was akin to having a foot massage.
Without any tools on him, he merely bent overlooking into the water, then suddenly reached for an opening in some rocks. "Hahaha, I've got one."
He caught a big carp in an instant, holding it firmly in his hand above the water.
"Wow, amazing! As expected of God Ye," Hao Yun cheered immediately.
Dong Miaomiao was delighted at the sight, as though she was the one who caught it. "That's wonderful. This is a true wild carp. It will surely be delicious."

Ye Lingchen laughed, "Sure, one more dish for tonight. I'll make a braised carp in soy sauce for you guys to try."
"Yay!" Hao Yun grinned immediately at the mention of good food, showing the dimples on her cheeks. She then asked, "But we don't have anything to carry the carp."
"That's easy." Ye Lingchen smiled, then whistled.
Very soon, they felt some commotion in a distance as something seemed to be approaching them at high speed.
"Awooo!"
The next moment, green and greyish figures darted out of the woods and came before Ye Lingchen.
"Go fetch a bucket." Ye Lingchen patted Little Grey on the head and made a gesture.
Little Grey howled, then instantly turned into a blur as it carried out the order.
"Just how did you train Little Green and Little Grey to be like that?" Dong Miaomiao asked curiously.
"They're smart to begin with and understand humans." By Ye Lingchen's estimate, Little Green and Little Grey's intelligence was almost on par with children around six years old.
"Oh. How nice to have pets like that. It gives one sense of security and makes life easier," Dong Miaomiao replied enviously. She was still traumatized by her past incident and desperately looked for security in her heart.
They were not far from the foot of the hills. With Little Grey's speed, the return trip would not even take half an hour. Ye Lingchen suggested, "During this time, why don't we catch some more wild game back?"
"Yes! Are there any crabs? I want a feast tonight." Hao Yun's eyes brightened as she felt the rush of hunting for food.
Seeing Ye Lingchen in the stream, the two girls hurriedly rolled up their pants and took off their shoes. Two pairs of fair jade-like legs entered the stream.
That scene was definitely a huge trial for the eyes!
"The stream is so cold!"
"So cooling. So comfortable!"
"Moreover, it's so clean. I think that we can drink from it directly, hehehe."
"You can indeed drink from it. It's a lot cleaner than the purified water sold in the markets." Ye Lingchen laughed, then gulped the water. The water was not only natural, it was also nourished by spiritual energy. Ye Lingchen had the Water Spirit Constitution and could feel the water quality going beyond ordinary.
"Really?" Dong Miaomiao and Hao Yun were skeptical, but they similarly bent over to carefully scoop some water into their mouths.
"Eh? It's delicious. The water is cool and refreshing. It's just like drinking chilled mineral water."
"It feels just like spring water and even carries a sweetness to it. If this thing is made into mineral water, it doesn't even need any processing. It'll definitely sell well. Why don't we carry some back with a bucket? It quenches thirst well."
"No need to bring it back. The streams downhill are almost the same," Ye Lingchen replied happily.
The island was untouched by pollution. Add to that the formation he had set, the spiritual energy would only grow denser and the water quality would only improve.
By then, the two girls were already playing in the stream. Laughter filled the air. Their thin shirts were soaked wet by the water, immediately turning into a scenery that was pleasant to the eyes.
"Ah, Sister Miaomiao, I saw a crab. There's crab here. Come quickly, I don't dare to catch it."
"There are crabs?"
Dong Miaomiao immediately rushed over after hearing that.
Ye Lingchen looked over as well, just to see Dong Miaomiao flip over a rock. "Wow, what a big crab!"
A crab the size of a palm could be seen with its shiny black shell. It raised its pair of pincers, putting up a defensive stance without attempting to run away.

Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me.
