It was weird. As Ye Lingchen approached, Big Black, who was whimpering all the while, suddenly calmed down. It looked at Ye Lingchen and showed a hint of fondness in its eyes.

He had the Animal Taming skill that gave him an affinity with animals, especially when it was animals that were not too threatening, like a dog. Moreover, his constitution was different from others. It was as though he was one with nature. Near him, animals would feel comfortable.

That scene made everyone watching amazed.

"It's okay, relax. I'll save you." Ye Lingchen patted Big Black on the head. Surprisingly, Big Black obediently closed its eyes.

The vet's expression changed, then sneered, "What for? What are you? How are you worthy to bet with me?"

Just as he finished his sentence, Qin Baichuan coldly stated, "For the sole reason that I'm the witness. Will that work?"

"And who are you?"

"Will this be sufficient?" Qin Baichuan showed his documents.

All the vets, including the young one, had a surprised look on their faces. That was the chief instructor in the Warrior's Department—he was a General!
