I Am A Prodigy Chapter 390

"Hahaha, Banana TV has gone nuts! They're crazy!"
Chairman He looked at the information in front of him and could not help but laugh wildly. With sarcasm in his voice, he said, "They actually accepted iApartment. Isn't this just self-destruction?"
"Chairman, God is helping our Durian TV!" the man in the suit laughed too. "We originally thought of Banana TV as a threat, but now that they're courting disaster, we can sit back and relax!"
"Tch, I've never regarded them as a threat!" Chairman He sneered. "The reason why Banana TV is growing was solely because of Singer Y. To put it bluntly, they had some dogsh*t luck! If Singer Y comes to our station, we'd long have soared to heaven!"
"You're very right, Director! Looking at it this way, there can never be constant good luck. Banana TV's glory will not last long, as expected!" the man in the suit asserted.
"They dare fight us, haha, they overestimate themselves! I'll wait for New Year's Day and see how miserable Banana TV will be!" Chairman He laughed. After a brief pause, his eyes lit up. "By the way, since Singer Y has such a big appeal, we'd better organize a variety show and invite him over. In addition to him, you can also try Livestream Y and Novel Y. They can wear a mask without needing to show their face."
"Okay, I'll do it now! If we can invite them over, our station will definitely advance further!" The man in the suit nodded.
"You can learn from Banana TV and start with Chen Xiaoyan. She wouldn't refuse an invitation to a big TV station like ours!" Chairman He ordered. "Also, we have to add fuel to fire behind netizens online, giving them the feeling that iPartment's atmosphere is not as good as For My Love. That'll make everyone unconsciously reluctant to watch iPartment!"

...
Ye Lingchen naturally saw the reaction of netizens, but he did not care too much about it. Everything in the early stage was fake, as it still hinged on the TV series itself. He had full confidence in himself.
As for Chen Chichi and the others, they all worked doubly hard after seeing the comments on the Internet and filmed as best as they could. So, what if they were not famous? Were those without fame unable to act well and create good shows? Who made that rule?
However, just after solving the TV series' problem, Ouyang Qing came to the door—the smart cleaning robot was ready for production!
Ye Lingchen walked quickly to the seventeenth floor of Wanrong Technology. At that point, Xu Nan, Xu Wanqing, and their father were also there, aside from Ouyang Qing.
"Chairman Xu." Ye Lingchen nodded at Xu Nan's father.
Chairman Xu gave a wry smile before saying, "I should call you Chairman Ye. Chairman Ye is young and promising. It is really amazing."
"You flatter me, Chairman Xu. Have you thought about what I said to you last time?" Ye Lingchen smiled.
"Hahaha, you're joking again, Chairman Ye. Unless I'm senile, I definitely won't sell it." Chairman Xu laughed.
"What about Chairman Ouyang?" Ye Lingchen looked at Chairman Ouyang again.
"Don't even think about it!" Ouyang Qing glared at Ye Lingchen. "We definitely won't sell our shares!"
"That's a pity." Ye Lingchen shook his head.
He proposed to buy all the remaining 19% of Chairman Ouyang's and Chairman Xu's shares at a high price, but he was rejected.
"Master, I'm your apprentice, you can't cheat my father!" Xu Nan could not help but say.
"Don't worry, I'm just kidding." Ye Lingchen said with a smile.
With the advent of smart cleaning robots, Chairman Ouyang and Chairman Xu would never sell their shares unless there was a hole in their brain.

What the market held for that kind of robot in the future was unimaginable, even for laymen like Xu Nan and Xu Wanqing, let alone insiders.
Moreover, it was drawn by Ye Lingchen for Ouyang Qing, and if there were further high-tech products in the future, they would be rich!
The future might turn out to be as Ye Lingchen said—Wanrong Technology could potentially become the world's most eye-catching technology company!
It was wrong to feel that they possessed too few shares. When Wanrong Technology stood on the top of the technological world, even one percent of the shares was enough to drive anyone crazy!
"Chairman Ye, please follow me to see the results of the smart cleaning robot," Ouyang Qing said with a serious face.
She then took the lead and walked through the corridors of the building to a relatively confidential laboratory.
The laboratory was rather empty, with only a circular cleaning robot spanning thirty centimeters in diameter sliding around inside.
"This is our result. We unanimously named this cleaning robot Little Cloud," Ouyang Qing said and switched on the computer. On it were clear records of Little Cloud's cleaning actions in the room as well as the results.
Nothing was apparent without comparison, but when a comparison was made, one would find that the room at present was several times cleaner than the previous room. It could even be described as spotless.
Xu Wanqing looked at everything in amazement, then asked, "Did you deliberately dirty the ground that much earlier?"
"That's right!" Ouyang Qing nodded. "The robots on the market now have small capacities and can only clean up the dust. They're also a bit dull when encountering obstacles. We solved this problem perfectly. In addition to being able to self-charge, it's also able to change the internal trash receptacle once it's full. When the cleaning is over, there's a water tank inside and it can even mop the floor!"
"Chairman Ye, please take a look at what else can be improved with this robot." Ouyang Qing looked at Ye Lingchen.
She was now convinced with Ye Lingchen, but there were traces of complex emotions in the depths of her eyes. Her arrogance was no longer present—it was replaced instead by awe and other mixed feelings.
"You've done a good job. It's ready to be put into production," Ye Lingchen's words made everyone look happy. That way, it would not take long for Wanrong Technology to attract worldwide attention!
Sure enough, Ouyang Qing did not disappoint him. Although she was an arrogant woman, she had real skills and was meticulous when doing things. With her, there was no need to worry much about science and technology.
"Master, you're amazing! You even know about science and technology!" Xu Nan was so excited that she hugged Ye Lingchen directly. The Wanrong Group signified a great deal to her, and Ye Lingchen's actions were equivalent to rescuing Wanrong directly.
"Student Ye Lingchen, thank you," Xu Wanqing said too. With Ye Lingchen's scientific and technological capabilities, he could find other big companies to cooperate or even create his own, but he gave that opportunity to Wanrong. For them, it was the greatest favor.
"Teacher Xu, please don't say that. I'm the one who's taking advantage of the situation." Ye Lingchen smiled. That situation was the most suitable for him, as someone who wants others to work without doing anything himself...

For Grass and Glory
Being old is difficult. But losing the love of your life to natural selection and being left in the dirt is even harder. Join Walton in his final journey as he figures out if his principals are just as important when there is nothing left to lose. Combating hypocrisy, youth, bad diet practises and a general lack of respect towards humanity, Walton's struggles are the true adventure of the everyday man. A story about unlikely friendship, being old, unexpected beauty, and the obsession of kicking a round leather ball in the best way possible. A story about a new world, and its possibilities. A story about the grass, and let us hope, a small bit of glory? Author note: This is a project of mine I started in 2016 and recently been writing for again. Writing for me is something I love to do, but can't always find the time for. This is also the reason I have not finished (or come close to) Ethereal Space yet. I get distracted. I started this novel intending to create something else, to break a bit with the current go to's story wise in the litRPG or virtual reality communities. So, this is my attempt at "Something different" I would love feedback or just your general opinion. But most of all, I hope it entertains. Enjoy!

Shrike
He wants to play the latest and greatest VRMMORPG game, but he can't muster up the cash for the fancy new proprietary hardware and membership license. After months of saving up cash and arduous work, he has built a behemoth of a machine relying almost entirely on seedy old technology and a DIY guide by some dude named "Jimmy Bob." This is the story of his entry into the game. This is also a story of intrigue, exploration, introspection, batshit crazy game design, and unintended but entirely predictable consequences. This is G.C.O. Undergoing a total re-write, mostly because I think things were too rushed rather than any content or direction changes. If you are one of the few who tried Shrike when it was briefly updating, consider giving it another shot. Of no relation to either The Great Crusade or the recent (in 2017 lol) Shrike book for Warhammer by Games Workshop. All similarities in these cases are superficial; please don't sue me. Feedback welcome and encouraged, never be afraid to review or comment. HQ/Kindle-Grade cover art. Book Cover 2.0: "From the Dark"
