I Am A Prodigy Chapter 367

Ouyang Qing did not require further instructions from Ye Lingchen as she already understood his intentions.
At that moment, Wanrong Technology needed to gain the public's trust once again. They could only do it one step at a time. Although the cleaner robot was a small product, it was a good start with low cost and short production time.
The current priority was to put the cleaner robot into production and have the public accept them, once again pushing Wanrong Technology's reputation to the front lines!
Moreover, after that incident, Wanrong Technology had limited fundings. They could not afford to stagnate. The automotive production line must be scrapped!
Wanrong Technology's recent developments attracted quite a lot of attention. All of them sighed in disagreement. Such massive layoffs showed that Wanrong Technology was at the end of the road. They even ceased their vehicle production. What else could they do? They were just waiting to die!
Therefore, Wanrong Technology slowly faded away from public scrutiny.
The next day was the beginning of a new week. Ye Lingchen's holiday came to an end and he returned to class.
However, the scene in the university was not what he expected. Early in the morning, the road was filled with many people, several times more people than usual!
Apart from that, there were also many new faces. In fact, there were even foreigners. Judging from their appearance, most of them should be from England and the Stick Nation.
'Is there some sort of event today?'
Ye Lingchen was stunned. He had only attended class on Friday the previous week. Therefore, it was understandable that he was not informed of any events.
"Hey, Ye'zi!"
While he was lost in thought, a familiar sound could be heard. It turned out to be Potato. He was standing outside the basketball court with Xiang, watching the crowd playing basketball. Little Gen was instead playing in the court.

"Why are you here playing basketball instead of going to class?" Ye Lingchen walked up to them, confused.
The basketball court that day was bustling with activity. It was early in the morning, yet the court was filled with people playing basketball.
"There's 10 more minutes until class. We're doing an early round of basketball as training," said Xiang with a smile.
"This is rare. You guys are really early," Ye Lingchen stated.
"That's because we're excited!" Potato replied enthusiastically. "Today is our university's Basketball Day!"
"Basketball Day?" Ye Lingchen was surprised. 'What sort of day is this? Why have I not heard of it before?'
"More accurately, it's a day that our university should set aside to celebrate basketball!" Xiang corrected. "Oh right, Ye'zi, you weren't around last Monday. We forgot to tell you. Today our stadium will be holding an international exhibition match! The opponent is the Stick Nation!"
"International exhibition match?" Ye Lingchen was mildly surprised. That was an international basketball exchange. At any rate, that should be an extremely important match. "Why is it taking place in our university?"
"This we don't know. However, it's something that sends our heart pumping!" Xiang's eyes glowed. "We've decided to skip class and watch the match!"
"Normally we can only watch it on TV. This is a rare chance. I won't mind even if I get some demerits for it!" Potato was mentally prepared for sacrifice to be made. "Ye'zi, why don't you come along?"
Ye Lingchen shook his head. "I'm not that interested in basketball. I'll pass."
"F*ck! You're so good at basketball, yet you're not interested in this kind of match?" Potato was shocked. "This has everything to do with our country's honor! We must be there to cheer them on!"
"That's right. This time I must personally witness our Chinese team's comeback and give the Stick Nation a crushing defeat!" Xiang exclaimed, filled with fighting spirit.

All these while, basketball was China's weak spot, unable to surpass the weak-looking Stick Nation. It was considered an international joke.
Ye Lingchen smiled and kept his silence.
The last time he went to the Capital City Basketball Association, he was constantly looked down upon. With that, he had pushed basketball aside and had lost interest. To him, it was just a skill.
"Hahaha…"
Right then, a burst of dissonant mocking laughter was heard, bringing a frown to everyone's face.
Looking over to the corner of the basketball court, 10 people dressed in black uniforms were standing there. They were chit chatting in a group, occasionally pointing fingers at the court and laughing at them.
Although nobody understood what they were talking about, it was obvious the contents were nothing good.
Those in the middle of playing basketball frowned deeply, feeling insulted. However, they could only hold it in.
"That's the bad part of this basketball match. A lot of outsiders are coming to our university. They have no class at all!" Xiang huffed.
"That's right. A lot of people came over just to watch the basketball match. I really wish we could kick that group out of here!" Potato chimed in.
Whoosh—
Right then, one of the players made a shot that hit the ring. The basketball bounced off and shot straight at that group of people!
The basketball was flying at high speed, whistling through the air. Quite a number of people could not help but look over.
However, right before their eyes, those people acted as if nothing had happened. They continued their conversation in a carefree manner. Just as the basketball was almost hitting one of them, his face turned serious and raised a hand!
Bang!
The basketball was firmly caught in his palm!
That move was decisive and beautifully executed. It made the viewers' hearts skip a beat. Everyone could feel that these people were not ordinary. They were definitely basketball experts!
"Bro, sorry about that. Can you pass us the ball?" the shooter asked apologetically.
However, that person merely shot a glance at him. He had no intention of returning the basketball. His mouth opened and closed constantly as he chewed gum.
The next instant, he swung his hair back and dashed forward at full speed!
Bang bang bang!
The basketball hit the ground and was being dribbled at high speed. Before the crowd could react, he arrived under the backboard. Taking a leap, his surprising jumping power caused those watching him to narrow their eyes, their hearts trembled at the sight!
His body was already higher than the backboard. With both his hands raised, the ball was slammed heavily into the hoop!
Boom!
Accompanying the loud sound, the hoop on the backboard was bent by his brute strength, pointing straight down while that person landed firmly on his feet. A condescending smile formed at the edge of his lips!
Everyone was stunned. That person not only did a slam dunk, he had also bent the hoop on the backboard. That was just too monstrous.
"Chinese people aren't just bad at basketball, even their basketball courts are trash. Hahaha, what rubbish!" That person stated in broken Chinese, after which he broke into a fit of disturbing laughter once more.
Everyone's expression turned gloomy. However, before they could say anything, the other nine people rushed out at the same time. They were like a leopard that discovered its prey, rushing toward nine separate backboards!
Under the backboards, the students were holding onto their basketballs. However, in just a flash, accompanied by a loud bang, the basketballs were struck to the ground, falling into their hands. Immediately after that, those people similarly leaped into the air…
