I Am A Prodigy Chapter 343

"Ah~ So handsome!"
Arnelle exclaimed and immediately trotted forward. She stared at Ye Lingchen's figure with drool all over her mouth. "His body is too perfect. His physique is definitely of the highest standard among men!"
Chen Xiaoyan also walked forward and looked at the shirtless Ye Lingchen. Blushes of red immediately appeared on either side of her cheeks. She shifted her gaze away, though she did peek at him from time to time.
"Brother Y's figure..." Dalei could not help but swallow. "It's too enviable."
"How on earth did he develop such a perfect body? It's much stronger than those fitness stars!" Brother Yang also exclaimed.
At that moment, the afterglow of the setting sun shone on Ye Lingchen's body, as if covering him with a glowing layer. Through the camera lens, Ye Lingchen's posture stood proudly by the sea, with his perfect figure set against the backdrop of heaven and sea.
The audience who were watching the live stream suddenly went crazy—especially the girls.
[Ah, no, I can't stand it...]
[Too perfect, TOO PERFECT! I really want to touch him!]
[Huhuhu, how can there be such a handsome man in this world. Most importantly, he doesn't even belong to me. Oh heavens!]
[Boom! My eyes are pregnant! Y, you're responsible!]
[Fuck! If I had a figure like Y, I wouldn't be a single dog for 20 years? I need to work out!]
...
In a flash, Ye Lingchen's figure attracted widespread attention, making men envious and driving women mad.
On the same day that the video was posted on Weibo, it immediately made the headlines with the title 'The most perfect male body!'
Ye Lingchen's figure was even published in the newspapers abroad!
His eight abdominal muscles were sharp and well-contoured; they were very uniform but did not give people any oppressive vibes. It could even be said that additional weight would make him look fat, while less weight would make him look thin.
In that short amount of time, there was an upsurge of online discussions regarding the perfect body.

Of course, Ye Lingchen did not know that he gave rise to such a big discussion. At that point, he held the bamboo in his hand and was staring closely at the water.
His steps were very light while his movements were very quiet. It gave people the impression that he resembled a male lion waiting for its prey, ready to deliver a fatal strike at any moment.
He was not trying to fish, was he?
Everyone's heart felt a little shocked and that thought popped up in their mind unwittingly.
It was the kind of plot that could only be seen on TV. Was there really someone in real life who could use bamboo to spear fishes?
However, Ye Lingchen suddenly made a move before anyone could even align their thoughts!
He raised his hand slightly before thrusting it!
Everyone's heart jumped along with his sudden movement.
When Ye Lingchen lifted it again, there was a fish on the tip of the bamboo spear. It had been completely pierced by the bamboo.
[What...the…f*ck? He really stabbed the fish?]
[AMAZING! SO AMAZING! How fast is his hand? How fast was his power! Too awesome!]
[I always felt that this Y is too OP. Can anyone tell me why he knows anything and everything?]
[No wonder he wants to sharpen the bamboo. Turns out, he already had that plan in place. It really was all under his control.]
...
"Fish! It's really a fish!" The most excited person was Arnelle. She ran over and gesticulated with joy. When she saw the fish on the tip of Ye Lingchen's bamboo, her saliva almost flowed out. If she had lost all traces of reason, she probably would have chowed down on it immediately.
In their predicament, having fish to eat was obviously a luxury.
Chen Xiaoyan and the others also ran over excitedly. They saw the fish's eyes shining brightly.
As for the show crew, they glared until their eyes nearly popped out. They looked at the fish in Ye Lingchen's hands, then looked at their buns and corn. Their appetites vanished all of a sudden.

There was no harm done if they did not make a comparison, but at that point, the difference seemed to be rather huge!
"Mr. Y, you're really very, very, very, very amazing!" Arnelle's speech was becoming incoherent.
"Brother Y, you seem to have specifically waited for this time to fish. How did you know there would be fish here?" Dalei asked curiously.
Everyone else also looked at Ye Lingchen. They realized that Ye Lingchen was a walking encyclopedia, and being with him allowed them to forever learn something new.
Ye Lingchen smiled silently. "This is usually the time when the seawater is at low tide. Haven't you noticed that this location is already much further away from the original seawater location."
After a pause, he continued, "Fish are most abundant during low tide. They will stay where they are for a short amount of time."
The crowd was enlightened, and at the same time, they admired Ye Lingchen to no end. He was indifferent and his knowledge was vastly wide.
"Mr. Y, look. There's also a fish right here, swimming next to my feet." Arnelle was pleasantly surprised and she immediately called out to Ye Lingchen.
Ye Lingchen had Arnelle retreat slowly to one side. All of a sudden, he thrust his hand out and another fish was stabbed on the tip of the bamboo spear.
The two fish were skewered together in a pair.
"Y, there's also one here," Chen Xiaoyan said excitedly. She trotted to Ye Lingchen's side and pointed with her finger.
Whoosh!
Another fish was speared on the bamboo.
Suddenly, everyone was busy helping Ye Lingchen find fish. The thought of dinner was already surfacing in their minds.
Ye Lingchen finally stopped after spearing six fish. He said with a smile, "That's it. These fish aren't small, it'll be just perfect."
"Oh, oh, oh! We have fish to eat!" Arnelle cheered jubilantly and looked at the program crew.
"Come on, let's try to fish," someone from the program group suggested.
Many people were also eager to try. It did not seem very complicated when they watched Y fish.
A group of people then walked vigorously toward the beach, but the next scene made everyone laugh.
Leaving aside the bamboo spear, many were even willing to dive right into the water just to catch the fish, though it proved resoundingly unsuccessful. The entire group of people looked incredibly miserable and made their way back.
[PFTT! BWAHAHAHA. I laughed myself to death. This group of people overestimated themselves. Did they think they are Y?]
[This is a decade of work for one minute on stage. It looks simple, but it's actually impossible if you do it yourself.]
[Can't bear to look at it. I can't bear to look at it. The entire program crew not only failed; they even made a fool out of themselves. Muahaha, it's so satisfying!]
[Their purpose here is to make a fool of themselves. My analysis is complete.]
...
There was constant laughter in the live stream room. The camera turned and continued following Ye Lingchen.
The cameraman now knew that the first shot must be reserved for Ye Lingchen. He was simply a machine when it came to pulling viewers.
Arnelle and the other four stared in anticipation at the fish on the bamboo spear. It was as though they could already smell the delicious aroma from that fish.
"Anyone know how to remove fish scales?" Ye Lingchen asked.
The three girls obviously did not know how, so at that moment, Brother Yang stood up and said, "I do. I'll take care of this."
Ye Lingchen nodded and handed the fish to him. "Then you clean up the fish first. I'll go over there and have a look."
After Ye Lingchen finished his words, he walked toward the trap that he set up earlier under everyone's watchful gaze...

Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.
