Divine Emperor Of Death Chapter 1260

A bit of distance through the Lightning Sea, Nero Alstreim still couldn't help but have a bit of disbelief that this brat could calmly walk through this place of death with absolute calmness. As they walked, the strands of lightning parted, but it was only around for a radius of twenty-meter or so with Davis as the center.
They had enough space to maneuver, but when he realized that the brat could instantly cause him to die in this space regardless of his will, he couldn't help but be wary.
"Davis, what kind of existence are you?"
"Mhm? Are you asking me if I'm a human?" Davis turned back as he raised his brows towards Nero Alstreim's question.
"You cannot have this aura on you unless you have somehow gained that Immortal Inheritance. Is that why you sent us out?"
"To ask about that in this place, have you prepared yourself to die?" Davis laughed as he returned his gaze towards the front.
"I've prepared myself to die the moment I left with you, but if you cannot answer this here, then I'm dead anyway when we reach the other side, probably..." Nero Alstreim harrumphed.
Davis smilingly shook his head, "Sometimes, deep suspicion is the root cause of most evils in a pleasant family..."
"We aren't family yet..." Nero Alstreim retorted.
Davis couldn't help but chuckle, "Well, I'll say both yes and no because I have received benefits from the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin after I found a method to awaken it, but it was too bad that the inheritance had been long taken away just as you two hypothesized. All it did give me was two things, and one of them was the way to exit, which I'm using now."
"What is the other thing?" Nero Alstreim curiously asked.
Davis looked back as he had his mouth agape, "Do I have to tell you everything just because you're my father-in-law?"
Nero Alstreim became taken aback before he couldn't help but chuckle, "That's right! I'm going to use my authority as the father-in-law to get answers from you!"
"Too bad... I don't respect my elders..." Davis turned around and continued flying at a rapid pace.
"You...!" Nero Alstreim trembled as he pointed at Davis with his finger, "You are a hooligan!"
However, a smile couldn't help but appear on his face as he somehow liked this situation. He was risking his life, and yet, there was no sense of danger, at least for now.
After some time, he suddenly shouted, "Wait!"
"What? Don't tell me you're scared to enter?" Davis teasingly chuckled as he pointed towards the ninth stage lightning bolts.

Nero Alstreim didn't know what to do. He had felt that there was no sense of danger, but he didn't expect to face one quickly. The moment he entered the space of ninth stage lightning strands, which he didn't expect to exist, he couldn't help but momentarily tremble in fear.
He would die if even a single strand touched him!
However, looking at that brat casting him a provocative smile, he harrumphed, "Whatever, it's not like it's going to enter your aura's forcefield."
He started flying again while Davis inwardly laughed, 'Even if you know that in your mind, can you still fly without shivering? This is like standing on a see-through, glass-surfaced building on the ninety-ninth floor. Even if you absolutely know that you won't fall, will you be convinced that you would not really fall?'
He didn't say anything and continued to fly while Nero Alstreim trembled while catching up to him. If he stayed, he would be turned into a human fry regardless.
During this time, Nero Alstreim was absolutely silent until they got out of the ninth stage lightning sea. Davis couldn't help but turn around and laugh, "I can see that you had enjoyed your trip."
"Yes, I no longer am afraid of anything..." Nero Alstreim raised his fist and acted pompous, making Davis roll his eyes because he knew that the other party was trembling like he couldn't wait to come under his protection.
Even he felt a bit scared if the aura would fail to keep the ninth stage lightning at a distance, but fortunately, it was able to keep them safely away from him.
"Well, I'm glad that you became fearless because we're already crossed sixty percent of the distance."
Nero Alstreim's heart couldn't help but skip a beat that he quickly opened his mouth, "Let's travel a bit faster...!"
"Hehe... Aren't you hasty for getting out?"
"Of course!!! It's our long-forgotten wish! If you can take us out like you said you would and not planned an ambush as I suspected, I'll accept that I was wrong for doubting you and kowtow three times to you!."
Davis looked shocked as he turned back, "Are you serious!?"
Nero Alstreim became taken aback, realizing that he had uttered something extremely humiliating in that passionate moment. His lips couldn't help but quiver, "I... Yes! I will kowtow... thrice!"
Davis looked at him in suspicion, realizing that he had given away his words and couldn't take them back. He slyly chuckled, "Then wash your knees and wait for me to take you all to the Alstreim Family. I can't wait for a kowtow from the father-in-law!"

Nero Alstreim's expression fell. Now he didn't know if he wanted the other party to lead them all away or not because his face was at stake here.
'How foolish of me...! Kill yourself, Nero!" Nero Alstreim cursed himself for unknowingly falling to the provocation.
Soon, they reached the other end of the Lightning Sea sooner than estimated because they had sped up, and when they came out, Davis breathed in a breath of fresh air that tingled with lightning-attribute while Nero Alstreim looked absolutely dumbfounded as he looked around the empty patch of land.
He was out, really out of that damned space! But, the realization hadn't sunk in yet that he couldn't help but look around in utter confusion.
However, Davis's eyes widened as he suddenly caught sight of a palace that seemed to be floating in the distance. His eyes couldn't help but twitch.
'They really waited, huh... That alone makes it worthwhile to recruit them...'

*Ahnn!~* *Ahhnn!~*
*Mhmnn!~* *Lick it more!~*
Intermittent seductive moans of two female figures with bountiful curves echoed across the room as they rode on a man, occupying his rod and mouth with their nether zones. It was not long before they reached the peak of their ecstasy together as they released a cry of pleasure before falling on the man, moving to embrace him from both sides as they began to cuddle.
However, one of the women suddenly sat up as she screamed, "It's him! The brat with the King-Tier Magical Beast is back!"
The man belatedly noticed before his sleazy smile faded, replaced with an amused look, "It's almost been a year already, making me wonder if he wouldn't appear any time soon or has died in the Lightning Sea."
He got off from the bed and laughed, "Time to see what gains he had obtained!"
These three were none other than Mival Silverwind, Zanna Silverwind, and Alia Silverwind.
Soon, after cleaning themselves up in a minute, Mival headed out of the palace first before he saw the sight of Davis and the Dark-Winged Twilight Wolf. However, he suddenly stopped, noticing that there was someone else, a white-robed, blonde-haired man who looked like he was legit from the Alstreim Family, authentic than Davis since that person had purple eyes.
'What the... Was someone like that unknown blonde-haired man together with Davis when he entered the Lightning Sea?' Mival Silverwind could've sworn that only Davis and his magical beast had entered. But then, how come there was another person with them now when they left.
'Could it be...?' He couldn't help but gulp.
Davis noticed Mival Silverwind coming out of the palace as he waved his hand, "I didn't think you would choose to wait, Mival..."
"A Ninth Stage Powerhouse!!!" Nero Alstreim jumped in cautiousness as he turned to look at Davis, "I knew it! You were planning something..."
"Duh..." Davis rolled his eyes, "If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have found this place."
"Huh...? What do you mean?" Nero Alstreim blinked, not understanding the situation.
Davis didn't bother with him anymore and looked towards Mival Silverwind, who arrived towards the front.
"Of course, I decided to wait and see if you would really manage to come out of this Lightning Sea the way you went in, and you really did, along with a person you hadn't entered with..." Mival Silverwind looked at the newcomer.
"You... You were not absorbed in by a spatial crack!?" Nero Alstreim became wide-eyed at Davis before he turned to look at the immeasurable Lightning Sea.
'How could it be!? Davis didn't have the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin's aura at that time!' But he then arrived at his own conclusion, thinking that perhaps that's why Davis was able to find a method to awaken the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin. Perhaps, he possessed a key that they didn't.
Davis did not choose to answer that question in front of Mival Silverwind.
Instead, he confidently smiled.
"I told you that the deal stands before we leave the island. As for whether you accept it or leave peacefully or try to plunder whatever I obtained from the other side, it's your choice..."
Mival Silverwind displayed an amused smile, but that smile faded as he suddenly sensed a dangerous existence behind him. His expression became stiff, realizing that she was standing behind him all along at some point instead of the front. A moment later, he couldn't help but let out a wry smile.
"I see that King-Tier Magical Beast has reached the peak of King Beast Stage, able to match my prowess a bit..."
"A bit, yes, but with concealment, deadlier than you..." Davis slyly chuckled as Nadia manifested behind Mival Silverwind, her sharp paws gleaming with dark energy just an inch away from his head.
Nero Alstreim gulped as his heart skipped a beat.
They were not Davis's allies who planned to ambush him and everyone who appeared here later but just strangers whom Davis was making a deal with...?
'What under the heavens is going on here!!!?'
He couldn't help but inwardly scream as he knew that they were facing a Ninth Stage Powerhouse!
