Divine Emperor Of Death Chapter 936

However, Davis didn't know that Ancestor Xanbas Goldsky's pitiful act truly was the case in a sense.
Ancestor Xanbas Goldsky ventured in carefully amidst the misty battlefield but got off-guard by the swinging and twisting body of the Aqua Flood Dragon. He gathered his martial energy under his fist and punched as he sent the space shuddering in the wake of the force, but he underestimated the defensive prowess of the Aqua Flood Dragon's scales and got ruthlessly smacked by its tail.
However, he was also a Ninth Stage Powerhouse, a Martial Overlord Stage Powerhouse!
He was completely unharmed!
The reason why he got smacked also had to do with the fact that he didn't want to give even thirty percent of effort into defending this place. He would like it more if this place got destroyed instead.
"I wonder if Conferred Queen's Protector is strong enough to battle the Aqua Flood Dragon equally?" Ancestor Xanbas Goldsky possessed a blank expression on his face. It looked as if he was curious but was also too nervous to ask Conferred Queen's Protector straight to the face.
Davis kept his silence for a moment before he turned to look at Ancestor Xanbas Goldsky, "Why don't we gauge whether if I'm strong or not by yourself?"
"Haha, I was just curious..." Ancestor Xanbas Goldsky brushed it off while laughing.
'These bastards from the large Territories are all arrogant!' He inwardly fumed, but it wasn't the first time he experienced humiliation from these people anyway. Hence, it was easier for him to forget this provocation.
Davis returned his gaze and stared at the space that he still could not see through or sense. He inwardly sighed, feeling why he had to stay and act like this when he was absolutely useless in this situation. Although it wasn't as if he was absolutely useless since he did possess a sacrificial method to take it down, he wouldn't do it unless absolutely required as it greatly harmed his soul essence.

He mused that there's an extremely minute chance of him dying if he used such a method to kill the Aqua Flood Dragon.
Ancestor Xanbas Goldsky headed towards the battle again. The crystallized crimson barrier opened up for him, and he entered the misty airspace again. This time, he was more cautious and stood away at a far distance, waiting for the opportune moment to get his revenge.
Being swatted like that was a humiliation in itself, which he found hard to digest. Although he kept an unhindered and carefree expression, he inwardly cursed the Aqua Flood Dragon in rage. He narrowed his eyes as he looked at Dian Alstreim and Tirea Snow attack it with their flames and ice!
Ancestor Tirea Snow raised her hand as her essence energy flared from her palm! A hail storm brewed suddenly that quickly encased the Aqua Flood Dragon and rammed it with numerous shards of hail that struck it with tremendous might! However, the scales of the Aqua Flood Dragon seemed to be capable of enduring this area of effect technique, causing it to easily deflect the shards with a little movement of its body that spanned over two hundred and fifty kilometers long!
But at the same time, Ancestor Dian Alstreim created an enormous and concentrated wave of crimson flames that cleaved through the airspace, and the space that was covered in a hailstorm wisped to flames while suddenly blazing into a firestorm that plunged the entire Aqua Flood Dragon into a flaming shower of fiery hails that struck it!
*Roar!~*
The Aqua Flood Dragon became incensed, and it swung its tail again randomly in retaliation!
"Crap!"...
Ancestor Xanbas Goldsky who felt that this was the best time to attack again, retreated back into the defensive formation like a turtle. The flailing tail of the Aqua Flood Dragon was no joke, and even a Martial Sage Stage Expert could get completely crushed by the force of the impact. Although exploding into a meat paste was possible, he didn't think it would happen unless the Eighth Stage Expert was off-guard.

Ancestor Dian Alstreim, Ancestor Tirea Snow, and the Aqua Flood Dragon fought with vigor! All three of their attacks scattered and swept the heaven and earth energy present in the surrounding hundreds of kilometers. The maelstrom of their attacks caused the land and the sky to tremble!
Davis couldn't take his eyes off the battlefield even though he could only see lesser and lesser with the number of attacks clashing and forming misty fog as a result.
The raging battle over the other side seemingly went on with no end. Every second could be considered life-threatening, but the battle went as long as ten minutes. The Aqua Flood Dragon's roar that carried pain could be sometimes heard, making the Grand Elders aware of its location.
"Kill!" Grand Elder Valdrey Alstreim bellowed.
The Eight Ashfall Arms Formation extended and swatted, slapped, and clutched the Aqua Flood Dragon, making it possess injuries that could be considered first-degree burns on its scales. The combined offensive prowess of this High-Level Emperor Grade Offensive Formation wasn't and less than the attack of a Ninth Stage Powerhouse. Sometimes, they used most of their essence energy to control eight hands' overlapping to cause immense destruction.
It was even able to push the enormous Aqua Flood Dragon back a hundred meters!
They constantly worked in tandem with the ancestor-level experts to pin down the Aqua Flood Dragon.
Ancestor Dian Alstreim flew around with his hands stretched, his flames erupting from his palms in a wild manner. The flames caught onto its dark blue scales but were only able to make it scorched black. However, Ancestor Tirea Snow flew at the opposite side, making the scales frozen before it shattered its tiny pieces, exposing its skin underneath.
*Roar!~*
The Aqua Flood Dragon expressed its anger as it swiped its arms at Ancestor Tirea Snow with its razor-sharp claws before Ancestor Tirea Snow turned into a mirage before disappearing into the void. They harassed the Aqua Flood Dragon with this cost tactics, just like how annoying house flies. They continuously tried to break its scales, but before they could injure it, the Aqua Flood Dragon's maws and claws would be upon them.
Just because the Aqua Flood Dragon was massive didn't mean it moved slowly. It was enormously fast, capable of sweeping its two hundred fifty meters long body around the air in two seconds! The force that it created was also enormously powerful that it struck away anyone weaker than a Ninth Stage Powerhouse and could easily kill anyone lesser than an Eighth Stage Expert.
*Roar!~*
"Arghh!!! Despicable Humans!!! Don't you cowardly existences have the courage to fight against me single-handedly!?"
"You have already encroached upon our ocean territory. Further violations wouldn't be allowed, nor the likes of you can easily infringe our sovereignty. Cease this battle and retreat." Ancestor Dian Alstreim coldly uttered.
"I'll kill you!!!" The Aqua Flood Dragon roared in extreme anger.
Ancestor Dian Alstreim frowned heavily. Even after harassing it and making it understand that it could possibly defeat them in this place, it still held on to its stubborn attitude and did not engage in negotiation, making him feel that perhaps chasing it away is going to take him more than a constant barrage of attacks that could be considered harassment.
Perhaps, only heavy-handed attacks could possibly make it come to its senses, but he was aware that it might also enrage the Aqua Flood Dragon further, causing them to possibly yet completely form an enmity with it!

What's This Fiction ? A Very Incomplete Project.
A fiction about itself and it's writer. Which is a very narcissic choice from the author, really, couldn't he have written anything else ? The cover was hastily made on gimp by the author. He has no rights to the image used on it. He doesn't have the artist's agreement for using it, either. Because he has no idea who's the artist.

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.
