Divine Emperor Of Death Chapter 742

'However, if this enormous vine lifeform could erase the Will of this Yin Essence... Then it's at least at the Low-Level of Eighth Stage...' Davis smiled with little confidence.
Even if it was higher by two levels, he felt that he could still kill it using Fallen Heaven, however, if it were to follow the same cultivation system of a magical beast and possess a soul that is at the Eighth Stage, he felt that he would be perhaps sacrificing a huge portion of his soul essence to kill it!
An Eighth Stage Magical Beast's Soul was equivalent to an Eighth Stage Soul Forging Cultivator! Unlike these existences, the Eighth Stage Experts he enslaved had their souls at the Elder Soul Stage, the Fifth Stage in Soul Forging Cultivation.
But then again, this particular Yin Essence suppressed the soul, the same as Lightning!
Would it require more soul essence for him to kill it with Fallen Heaven?
He didn't know but started to consider even a worse possibility.
'What are the chances that its soul cultivation is higher than its body cultivation?'
These vines were an unknown existence to him, and, most likely, he considered them to be a type of plant lifeform! And herbs that were used as ingredients were also considered as plant lifeforms!
The most he saw in these herbs were that they were mostly defensive, fixed on a place, and did nothing but grow by consuming on nutrients, just like this scenario where the plant lifeform was absorbing the Yin Essence's energy to grow.
However, if this plant lifeform were going to be aggressive...
Davis's eyes narrowed in hesitation and became nervous from overthinking.
He generally knew that plants had weak souls since they could only protect themselves and not project their souls outside. Hence, he felt the plant lifeform's soul would be generally fragile than its body.
What he didn't know was that all the herbs that reached Emperor Grade possessed Will that had complete sentience! They had the thought processing ability of an average human!
Old Man Garvin had failed to inform him of this simple fact since even he felt that Davis was from a peak power in one of those Fifty-Two Territories. He thought that it was only a matter of time before Davis knows all this by himself in the future through his power.

Not knowing all these facts, he felt that the chances of its soul cultivation being weaker than its body cultivation should be greater.
His hesitation was only for a moment before his gaze turned ruthless!
Davis retracted his soul sense in a few seconds and turned to look at Nadia, "Since you followed me here, you at least have the courage to stake your life for me. However, the battle that is going to take place is not something you can handle..."
Nadia blinked in response, not understanding what he was stating, but before she could say anything, Davis continued.
"Fly away from this Sunset Tear Mountain..."
Nadia remained stunned as she looked at Davis move towards a particular place, leaving her behind before he stepped over the lush green hill. She then saw him touch a small vine with his hand while grabbing it, making her confused about the things he said.
'What's so special about that vine which covers the mountain? It only makes all existences cry under the sunset, just like the Sunset Mountain Wolf's species technique...'
Nadia became sour. She deeply hated her past species technique, which was only useful for making magical beasts cry. Although it had the effect of blurring their vision and humiliating them, she didn't like such a species technique.
Davis produced a grim expression on his face.
Once he started this, he knew everything would perhaps go out of his control and pacing. From the time he had come to this world as Davis, everything was well within his pace.
From the moment he crossed into his next incarnation's body to now...
Even the invasion by the two Empires could only temporarily shake his pace as he managed to scare them into retreat, later killing them. However, if this plant lifeform were to escape his scope of power, including Fallen Heaven's, then he would have no choice but to run away!
His pace would then be utterly shaken and could even collapse!
How?
If the plant lifeform managed to follow him to the ends of the Territories, wanting to kill him, then his pace would be utterly destroyed as he would have to escape back to the Tripartite Alliance Territory.

If it even followed him there, then he would have to escape back to the Grand Sea Continent....
Of course, he could always bring the plant lifeform to the Alstreim Family and let the so-called Ancestor take care of the plant lifeform, but...
From then on, his fake identity as the Conferred Queen's Protector would become apparent or come under scrutiny, or even worse, his origin from the Forbidden Phoenix Realm would be exposed to the Alstreim Family and perhaps even the entire Fifty-Two Territories!
Such a calamitous scenario wasn't suited to his pace at all!
While he was thinking about all this, he suddenly noticed that Nadia didn't move from the place she floated.
"You still haven't escaped?"
Nadia was utterly confused, "From what?"
Davis blinked in response before he smiled at her, "Well, you're free to stay and even die in the aftermath that would take place, but since you're my magical beast mount, how can I lose you?"
"To lose you just a week after making you my Magical Beast Mount?" Davis wryly shook his head.
"I understand. I'll listen to master's words..."
Nadia blinked and pursed her lips. She flew towards the ceiling but turned to glance at him with a complicated expression on her face.
Was her master protecting her, or was he disappointed by her meager power which couldn't provide him aid? She couldn't guess which one from those words.
Davis didn't notice her expression as he already returned his gaze towards the vine. He abruptly started to viciously laugh, possessing a crazed expression on his face.
It was unknown if he was cruel to himself for playing with a lifeform that was above his power or the Emperor Grade plant lifeform for trying to kill it, but the next second, he sent an incredible surge of soul force into the vine!
The tremendous surge of soul force instantly traveled hundreds of meters through the vine in milliseconds and reached two hundred and fifty kilometers in two seconds!
Davis quickly caught a glimpse of a large body before he completely made his soul force go berserk and ripped the two hundred and fifty kilometers long vine from the inside!
*RIP!!!~~~~*
The sound of tearing echoed like a fleeting dream, muffled yet echoing as if the mountain cracked!
Nadia, who was almost near to the escape route, blinked in response as she heard the sound and turned back.
Abruptly, she felt the world become silent before her pupils instantly dilated in sheer fear!
*Avvooo!!!!!~~~*
A loud shriek almost tore her eardrums, but Nadia didn't dare to stay still! She instantly shot towards the escape route and tried to escape to the skies as her heart pounded crazily!
The shriek almost reverberated across this region of the Sunset Tear Mountain as it made millions of magical beasts lay in the posture of submission!
Davis looked around at the hundreds of green vines that were trembling. They visibly shook and started to sprout out from the ground, enlarging in size as they twisted and churned.
The next moment, they all shot towards Davis at an incredible speed!
Davis's expression remained calm, despite the pressure he was welcoming. He extended his hand, and thousands of black bolts of lightning erupted from his palms, striking the vines in its tracks!
*Bzz!~* *Bzz!~*
His attack instantly had an effect as the vines became charred like a burned charcoal. The vines shrank and disintegrated, but the earth below him shook, and large holes appeared before numerous green, thick and sharp vines shot out!
'As expected...' Davis inwardly laughed as he saw its thousands of weak Fifth Stage vines.
The ones he burned before were all at the Third Stage and the Fourth Stage. He could tell that it was pouring energy into those dormant vines, making it stronger as time passed by, but he wouldn't make a stupid move such as staying here and meeting all these vines.
Before the newly erupted vines could even react, he was already in the air, flying away towards the escape route!
