Because this shriek clearly belonged to another Lord Beast Stage Magical Beast! And it rather strutted off its undulations like a powerhouse, warning all who can sense it!

'A Mid-Level Lord Beast Stage Magical Beast?' Davis narrowed his eyes confusion along with the others.

What now?

In a few seconds, numerous explosions in varying degrees resounded and a miserable cry echoed from the clan leader of the Three-Winged Venomous Lizards.

Davis looked up and vaguely saw an eagle-like Magical Beast fly away with a lizard-like Magical Beast in its talons. He blinked and became speechless.

"Well, serves it right!" Davis snorted, not feeling pity for the clan leader of the Three-Winged Venomous Lizard.

If that eagle-like Magical Beast hadn't done it, he would've killed it anyway since it harmed Evelynn with it shrieking sound attack.

"What happened?"

Evelynn confusedly asked again like a curious cat, making Davis ponder.

His eyes lit up as he felt that this would be the case.

"Didn't Nadia say before that the clan leader secluded itself? It might because of this eagle-like Magical Beast hunting it! It probably has been heavily injured before, so it had secluded itself but it was forced out by us."

"The eagle-like Magical Beast... Was perhaps waiting near or above the basin, wanting to attack the clan leader of the Three-Winged Venomous Lizard again."

"So, the moment the chief clan leader let out an angry shriek, probably because of witnessing the result of our slaughter, it alerted the eagle-like Magical Beast."

"This makes sense because the clan leader of the Three-Winged Venomous Lizard was rather stealthily approaching us in the beginning. Now that I think back about it, it wasn't too ambush us but to hide from this eagle-like Magical Beast."

Davis finished explaining, making the other two widen their eyes in understanding.

Although they felt it not might be entirely true, the way he explained made it seem like this could be the case.

Davis's eyes suddenly lit up in sudden realization.

The only Lord Beast Stage Magical Beast of the Three-Winged Venomous Lizard has been taken away, in a half-dead state while the two incumbent leaders have been killed by them.

Doesn't that leave the Three-Winged Venomous Lizard Clan's Treasury wide open for the taking?

"Nadia, quick! Take us to the Lair or Treasury of the Three-Winged Venomous Lizard's."

Nadia let out a whimper, "I don't know where it is and it'll take me some time to find it with my sense of smell..."

..."For now, let's just head in the direction from which the clan leader of the Three-Winged Venomous Lizard came from..." Davis suggested, prompting Nadia to fly in that direction.

He then scoured with this Soul Sense trying to find the treasury.

During this time, he felt rather tired, so he reached to his front and wrapped his arms around Evelynn's waist and brought her closer to him, feeling her warmth.

Evelynn let out a low yelp and looked at him behind with pursed lips. However, the moment she turned back, she made contact with his lips as they brushed past each other's softness.

She instantly turned her face to the front as her cheeks blushed red.

Davis blinked at accidentally kissing her. He was just going to rest his chin on her shoulder but the moment she turned back, their lips touched and smeared with each other's flavor.

Inadvertently, his member hardened and rested on her butt cheeks as it enlarged.

Evelynn felt the long, enormous sense of heat behind her and became stunned. She shook her head in a frenzy, indicating him to do nothing.

Davis smiled and acted as if he complied, however, he didn't let her go. He tightened his embrace as his arms literally sunk into her voluptuous body's softness. He rested his body weight over her pushing his entirety to her side.

In a few minutes, the three of them arrived at a place.

This place had no grass but just a bunch of trees blocking a view to a cave-like entrance.

Davis flew above Nadia and landed on the ground, his countenance satisfied, recharged, and calm.

However, Evelynn who was still on Nadia took deep breaths and exhaled hot breaths, her perky breasts heaving up and down. Her cheeks were flushed red as she fell on to Nadia's fur, feeling limp.

Her neck was marked with a bright crimson hickey!

Davis entered the cave-like lair.

After he had gone inside, Nadia suddenly asked, "Is that how you humans mate?"

Evelynn's face flushed with a crimson hue devoid of any white in her cheeks. She hid her face with both her palm and uttered, "No..."

The lake was barren rock, however, there were stalagmite-like structures spread over the corner and the ceilings of the cave. The rocks seemed to carry traces of venom in it.

"What is this? Some kind of vomit from those Three-Winged Venomous Lizards?" Davis mused loudly, his voice echoing throughout the hall as it came back to him.

With his, he had mapped out the structure of the Lair with his physical sense, however, there was no need for that since he had mapped out the lake with his Soul Sense.

He pinpointed the place where the treasures laid in and walked towards the location. Once he crossed many narrow holes that led to different parts of the lairs, he saw an underground tunnel that led below.

Without hesitating, he flew below and the narrow pathway started to curve above. He finally saw light over the end of the tunnel and exited.

When he came out, he was greeted with a sight of a lush green hill that hosted a plethora of poisonous herbs, and beside it ran an underwater current that probably connected a river far away.

Davis wasn't surprised by the underwater current since the ocean was just at the north of the Sunset Tear Mountain.

That said, he felt coming here was worth it because he identified two Peak-Level Sky Grade Ingredients that were poison-attributed. Combined with it, he found hundreds of ingredients like herbs, roots, buds, and stems ranging from Low-Level Sky Grade to High-Level Sky Grade.

Coming here was absolutely worth his time, and the whole way, he walked unbridled, unobstructed by anyone as the lair had been deserted for obvious or unknown reasons.

After all, the clan chiefs were dead, hence it is obvious that this lair would be abandoned but what about the High-Level Saint Beast Stage Three-Winged Venomous Lizards that have escaped? Shouldn't they be here?

But as far as Davis could see or sense, none of them were here.
