Reno ( Rere and Dino )

Rere is standing on the balcony. Dino and her wedding will be held tomorrow morning. Rere hoped the time would just stop. She was not mentally prepared to be Dino's wife. She feels like she missed something important.

Rere sometimes regretted her departure to KL. If she did not go there, she might not meet Dino. The man was not going to know about her secret which is Leon. She can't cry over the spilled milk now. Dino managed to influence Bara to force her into this marriage.

Rere did not dare to refuse Bara's request. The man held an important position in her life. She did not want her and Bara's relation going bad because of this. Although he is only her stepbrother, their bond is like the real siblings with blood relations. Rere realized that Bara was the one who stood beside her when she was having a hard time.

Bara took care of her and supported her when Ainil blamed and kicked her out because of her pregnancy. Furthermore, Bara became the father figure for Leon so the boy can feel the love of a father. Rere couldn't deny Bara's important role in Leon and her life. Maybe if Bara wasn't around, Rere would have a hard time taking care of Leon. Everything seems extremely easy just by his presence beside Rere. Bara is also the one who makes the family accept Leon and her.

Rere was surprised when someone touches her shoulder. She turned around to see her stepbrother's wife.

"Sister-in-Law," Rere sighs after realize it was Dila who pats her shoulder.

"Why haven't you slept yet?"

"I can't sleep, sis."

"Are you nervous because you will be married to Dino tomorrow?"

"It is one of the reasons." Rere forced a smile.

" I can feel your strong rejection about this marriage. Do you want to talk about it?"

"I am okay, sis."

"Stop lying. I can see the doubt in your eyes."

"No, you can't. It's just your feelings."

"But my hunch is always true. You lack something. You actually do not want to get married? You are forced to make this decision. Is my husband forcing you to marry Dino?"

"There is nothing, sister. I am not forced on this marriage." Rere lied. Rere can't tell Dila the truth because Dila is Dino's cousin.

"What can I do to stop you from saying any more lies. I can see clearly that you are lying to me. You can tell me anything to release your burden." Dila smiled sweetly as she held Rere's hand. "You are Bara's sister, which also makes you my sister as well. You can cry or scream at me to vent your frustration. If you are doubting your own feeling, we can still call the marriage off. You have to remember that marriage is not a plaything. It involves our life because marriage is our longest worship. We will live with our husband until death separates us. This is no a trivial matter."

"Can I ask you a question?" Rere seems like she wants to find assurance from Dila.

"Of course you can, what is it?"

"When you were married to my brother, there is no love at all. Why did you marry him although you have a lover at that time?" Rere knows some of Dila and Bara's love stories.

"At that time I only believed in destiny. I prayed to God. If Bara is the one for me, please bring him closer to me. If he is not the right one, please send him away from me. I surrender all my feeling to God. I believe that birth, death, and marriage, are God's destiny that can not be changed."

"I also feel the same way, sis. I do not have a reason to refuse this marriage. Marrying Dino is my fate." Rere said.

Dila smiled hearing Rere's words. She approached the girl before hugged her tightly.

"You have to believe that Dino will be a great husband for you. He will be the man of the family. He will protect you. I do not praise him because he is my cousin. I told you the truth. Dino is a good man. He was a great father for the triplets over the past three years. Dino loves the children. He never treats Hanin and the triplets differently. Tomorrow, you'll be Hanin's mother. I will let you know what the kid likes and dislike so both of you can get closer to each other."

"I will try to love Hanin like I love Leon. I'm not going to treat them differently."

"I'm glad to hear that. You can take my word for this, Re." Dila put her hand on Rere's chest. "Dino will make you the queen of his heart. If he was not sure maybe he was not going to propose to you. Do you think that Dino marries you just for the sake of Leon? That's not true, Re. He must have thought about everything carefully before asking you to become his wife. Dino did not fall in love that easily. He will surely learn to love you. I want you to remember that true love is the only love that exists after the marriage agreement."

" I will remember that, sister."

"Dino is a good man. He will make both you and Leon happy."

Rere finally feels a little relieved after talking to Dila about Dino. Hopefully, the man could be a great husband and father for them. She hopes that she did not make any mistake in marrying Dino. Rere hopes she won't regret her decision to marry Dino. After that, they kept talking until midnight.

Dino and Rere just tied the knot. All rejoice with their marriage. Dino was mesmerized by Rere's beauty. The woman was very beautiful in a white wedding dress. Her beautiful face radiated. Makes all eyes on her.

Dino was nervous. The man just realized that his wife is very beautiful.

Rere is officially married to him. They have become husband and wife. Dino will try to love and make Rere happy.

Dino put a ring on Rere's ring finger. After that, it' is Rere's turn to do the same thing for the man. After putting the ring on the man's finger, Rere then kissed the back of Dino's hand. The man approach Rere and kissed his wife's forehead even though he was nervous and trembling. This was Dino's first time touching a woman after four years. Rere actually wanted to dodge the kiss but she didn't want to make things worse. Her family is happy about her marriage with Dino.

Ainil, Bara, Herman, and Dila were very enthusiastic about their wedding. Tia and Daniel are also eager to see them marry. Gesa decided not to come because she needed time to calm her mind.

The fact that Dino is Leon's biological father really shocked her. The man second marriage left a deep wound in Gesa's heart. Just thinking that she can't take care of Dino and Hanin makes Gesa drowning in sadness. She wants to be Hanin's mother to carry out Ananya's last will. Gesa wants to be someone who is there for Dino and Hanin. She thinks that the only way to fulfill Ananya's last will is by being Dino's wife. Gesa has fallen in love with Dino since Ananya entrusts the man and Hanin to her. Before Ananya died, Gesa actually harbors some feelings for Dino. The man was a great husband, even Gesa once dreamed of getting married to someone as good as Dino.

Dino and Rere's wedding reception was held In the evening. Rere still used the same makeup artist to prepare her make-up and hairdo. Dila is the one who prepares her clothes. While the makeup artist working on Rere's face, Ainil enters the room.

"Mother," Rere greet her mother, noticing Ainil's presence. "Have you done with the makeup?" Ainil smiled happily.

"Yes, mother. I was done after putting on the scarf," Rere said with a smile. She was wearing Minang traditional clothes, the Red Koto Gadang. Her beauty is perfect like an Indian woman. Rere's hands are decorated with henna. They combine the two traditions which are Javanese and Minang. The makeup artist then finished her job by putting the scarf on Rere's head before leaving Rere's room.

"Is something wrong, mother?" Rere knew that Ainil wanted to talk to her about something.

"I just wanted to give you some advice. Now that you are a wife, your responsibility has been taken over by Dino. Dino is not only Leon's father now, he is your husband. As a wife, you must be dutiful and obey your husband's words. Don't be a disobedient wife. We are obliged to follow the husband's words as long as the words do not contradict the Shari'a. I know that you've had a hard time accepting this marriage. I can see your smile but I know you are still bothered by something." Ainil pointed at Rere's chest and continued, "A mother knows her child like the back of her hand. Don't keep those hatreds in your heart, Rere. Bara only wants the best for you. He wants you to marry Dino not without reason. As a stepbrother who is older than you, he has a great role in your life. He won't make mistake by choosing the wrong person for you."
