The Amazing Process For Marrying You Chapter 28

I stammered unable to answer Dila's question. I can't tell him my problem. Let this be my secret. It's not time for them to know. During the three hours of the journey, we were silent. Busy struggling with each other's thoughts.
Arriving at home. The children ran to welcome their 'Ama'. Hanin, my daughter, and Ananya warmly welcomed Dila's return. Hanin knows that Dila's mother is not Ananya. Hanin was too young when my wife died. Until now I'm still trying to find out who killed my wife. Gesa, her assistant disappeared after the incident that night. My hired detective found her in Jakarta but failed to speak. Gesa was too scared. I think he was being chased by killer Ananya's so she chose to stay in Indonesia. I know that my wife's killer is no ordinary person. Their police are silent so the case is sketchy.
I went back to my room to rest. My mind is not calm. I took my phone and called Tia.
"What plan is being executed by Bara. Why acknowledge Rere as his wife?" I'm straight to the point. Get to the point without further ado.
I heard Tia laugh. Why is that nosy girl laughing at me?
"Why sir? You are jealous?" Tia even teased me.
"Not. I feel sorry for Dila. She cried because she knew Bara had a wife. I wanted to tell a story but…"
"Never tell Mr. Dino." Tia stopped me. It seems that Tia is very afraid if I interfere in Bara and Dila's business.
"Then what advantage do I get?"
"I will help you to get close to Rere or Leon."
"Tia I'm not a fool. I want to make sure Leon is biological or not. Can you help? If you help I will help Bara access to get close to the triplets. I know that Bara's memory has returned." I smiled even though Tia couldn't see it.

"Mr. Dino," Tia called in a panicked tone.
"Yes."
"Me….."
"Help me or reveal Bara's secret to Dila? Which one do you choose?" I even gave Tia an ultimatum.
I know that Tia and Rere are good friends. I also investigated Tia's background. Stupid me, I can investigate Bara, Rere, and Tia but can't investigate the mastermind behind my wife's death. I know that the mystery of Ananya's death is being kept under wraps so I can't unravel it.
"Good, Sir." Tia looks scared by my threat. I'm sure they will unite Dila and Bara. In the end, I will be the loser. I can't have Dila. Dila's love is only for Bara and vice versa.
"I need Leon's hair sample urgently. You must bring it to me immediately."
"But sir."
"I don't accept excuses. Do it fast or I will complicate Bara and Dila's relationship."
"Okay," Tia replied quickly.
I turned off my phone and chose to sleep in my room. I give Dila time with the children. I saw mom. I want to tell Mom about Leon right away but I have to do a DNA test first to make sure that Leon is my son.
Rere pretended not to know me. Fine if that's what she wants. I'll follow the play. To what extent did she pretend. The girl was stubborn and prestigious.
Tia was scared by my threat. She immediately sent me a sample of Leon's hair. How Tia did it I don't know. She is still in KL with Bara and Rere. I immediately took Leon's hair sample to the hospital. The labor officer also took a sample of my hair. Luckily I know the laboratory doctor so the results can be known quickly.
Three days after that I got the news. Syaiful, the laboratory doctor called me to read the test results. My chest throbs in pain. Somehow I don't know. I immediately rushed to the hospital. Can't wait to know the results.

I sat in Syaiful's private room. It is true. Leon is truly my child. The test results prove 99.99% percent that Leon is my son. Oh my God, my eyes are tearing up. I have a son whose presence I do not know. As a father, I will be responsible to him as well as her mother. Somehow I thought of marrying Rere so that Leon would get legal recognition. What a fool with Rere. Starting today I will 'Chase My Son's Mother's Love'. I can't possibly separate from Leon. However, Hanin must be close to her brother. Marriage is the only way for Hanin and Leon to live under the same roof.
Looks like I have to cooperate with Bara. I helped her plan to approach Dila and she helped me approach Rere. This seems to be mutually beneficial. I immediately contacted Bara and asked her to meet.

The Stormcrow Cycle
Once a powerful and lauded witch, Ba'an salu-Ba'an now lives alone in a cave in the desert, waiting to die. When she rescues an outlander from certain death she becomes embroiled in a deadly game of politics and empire, of heart and soul, but worst of all--of hope and love and a chance at a peaceful future. Can a disgraced witch find a reason to live her life again--and if so, what price must she pay? The Stormcrow Cycle is a trilogy comprising of The Exile, The Lion, and Abomination. Tags or genres for each book: The Exile: romance, slice-of-life The Lion: romance, slice-of-life, politics Abomination: tragedy, high/epic fantasy (aka "Everything is on fire!") Updates once a week whenever I have time. Cross-posted on Wattpad and Scribble Hub. The CBMokedi cover will return! Excerpt: She looked down at him again. Young. Healthy, from what she could see, except for the wound that was killing him. He was handsome in a way that suggested a life of wealth and plenty. She did not think he had ever starved. Someone important. Her shadow fell across him, and he frowned. Blearily, he opened his eyes. They were amber and bright, even as he lay dying in the dirt. She could feel his soul, blazing inside of him like a fire refusing to die even as his body began to fail. He met her gaze, eyes widening in what she guessed was surprise—or shock. But he never looked away, staring up at her as though transfixed. Ba’an made her decision. She raised her hand and covered his eyes. In another moment, a murder of crows cawed as they took wing. The man and woman were gone from the road, leaving only the dead staring up into the sky. Note: This is a high-fantasy set in a low-magic world. The first book is largely character-driven and we really only hit the real plot in Book II, so if you're not fond of long epic yarns you ought to skip this one. I also don't include trigger warnings, but mind the "traumatizing content" tag--all societies minus one practice slavery and the world is indeed, rather grim!
