The sky palaces and Hell had joined forces to attack Demon Immortal Realm together.

Compared to the immortal emperors of the sky palaces, the ghostly immortals of Hell were even more cruel. Not a single body was left intact in their wake. Gory, bloody methods brutalized the demon immortals. One could almost smell the blood just by looking at the scenes.

First was Beiyin Necropolis Grand Emperor, the god of death of Hell, and the ruler of Beiyin Necropolis. He fought from the mists, and Wu Yu and Wu Jun took a while to identify him.

Each time, he surrounded the adversary in black mists, and then body parts and blood spurted out in equal abandon, scattering on the ground of Demon Immortal Realm. Soon, the blood ran in rivers, forming pools and later an ocean of blood.

Next was the Eastern Ghostly Emperor Shenshu, who ruled Taozhi Mountain in the 10,000 Levels of Hell. He rode a black skeletal warhorse, his aura of misery coalescing in a black mist which followed him everywhere. The eternal demon emperors near him shrank and shriveled away, their life force constantly being leeched up by the Eastern Devil Emperor!

Western Ghostly Emperor Zhao Wenhe, ruler of Bozhong Mountain.

Northern Ghostly Emperor Zhang Heng, ruler of Luofeng Mountain.

Southern Ghostly Emperor Du Ziren, ruler of Luofu Mountain.

Central Ghostly Emperor Zhou Qi, ruler of Baodu Mountain.

These ghostly emperors pincered the demon immortals in sync with the eternal immortal emperors. It was a slaughter. Yet these ghostly emperors were nothing compared to the rest of the ghostly immortals' strength.

Wu Yu and the others watched as six clouds of terrible black smoke rolled up into the eternal demon emperors' midst.

Wu Yu spotted one of the eternal demon emperors, the flaming lion with nine heads, Nine Inferno Emperor. He was surrounded by the six clouds of smoke, and then only his bones were left to fall to the ground.

All of his nine heads had been picked clean by the clouds of smoke.

These were the Luofeng Six of Hell, also known as the Ghostly Lieges of the Six Domains!

They were Liege Zhou the Darkness, Liege Taisha the Merciless, Liege Ming Chen the Lawless City, Liege Tian Zhao the Guilt-ridden, Liege Zong Ling of the Seven Deadly Sins, and Liege Gan Silian of War. The Ghostly Lieges flew together as spirits, roaming the battlefield.

One after another, the eternal demon emperors fell to them, devoured clean.

If this was a simple battle against either the sky palaces or Hell, the Demon Immortal Realm's eternal demon emperors could put up competitive numbers. But being outnumbered thus, they were completely unable to defend themselves.

It was impossible for each eternal demon emperor to have to take on two opponents or more.

Besides, the eternal immortal emperors and ghostly emperors worked in perfect unison to decimate the eternal demon emperors.

"The strongest of hell should be over there!"

Wu Jun pointed to another direction, where the darkness was especially dense. He could see the ghostly immortal energy there destroying the void of the Demon Immortal Realm.

They were the Ten Yama Kings: King Qin'guang, King Chujiang, King Songdi, King Wuguan, King Yanluo, King Biancheng, King Taishan, King Dushi, King Pingdeng, and King Zhuanlun. Even in the madness of this chaotic battle, they were unmistakable.

Each of the Ten Yama Kings could easily take on several eternal demon emperors. Only the strongest of the eternal demon emperors could fight these eternal demon emperors.

And besides these Ten Yama Kings, there were also many other ferocious ghostly immortals from Hell, eternal ghostly emperors who continued to kill demon immortals, especially those who had not even made it to eternal demon emperor level.

The entire Demon Immortal Realm was carnage. A dystopic and grisly sight of blood and screaming!

"Isn't that the foremost judge of hell, Magistrate Cui?" Full Moon of Nanshan pointed out. A ghostly immortal held a large book in his hands, the famous Book of Death.

Magistrate Cui's name was Cui Jue. He was the leader of the Four Great Magistrates, the Dark Law Magistrate. Beside him were the Reward Magistrate, the Sentencing Magistrate, and the Interrogator Magistrate. All of them were openly killing eternal demon emperors in Demon Immortal Realm.

These Four Great Magistrates were just as strong as the Ten Yama Kings. Although they might be killing less eternal demon emperors, but they still gouged deeply into the ranks of the eternal demon emperors.

No one could stand up against them, and they left a gruesome trail in their wake.

Black and White Impermanence, Ox Head and Horse Face, the Witch Goddess......

A multitude of ghostly immortals, all here at Demon Immortal Realm. The crystal ball continued telling its story of slaughter.

The sky palaces were led by the Jade Emperor as general, while the Hell side was less organized. However, the strongest eternal ghostly emperors ruled their subjects with an iron fist.

The scene playing out shook all of them deeply, and overwhelmed them.

Although Wu Yu had only seen Eastern Sublime Gracious Divine Emperor from afar, he could tell that he was not such a cruel person.

And within the crystal ball, he was using the most savage of moves to torture and kill the eternal demon emperors.

Even Wu Jun, with all his years of experience, could not tell if the events were real.

"It's wrong! It's wrong! I haven't seen some of those eternal immortal emperors before, but the tales of them are not of such cruelty. And especially for something like the extermination of the Demon Immortal Realm?" Wu Jun had stared at the crystal ball with sheer disbelief so far. He did not dare to believe that the eternal immortal emperors of the sky palaces were capable of such cruelty.

"I think it incredulous as well." Not just Wu Jun, but even Wu Yu was doubtful of it.

Of course, Wu Yu was not on best terms with the immortal emperors of the sky palaces. Many of them even wanted to kill him.

But that did not affect Wu Yu's judgment of their character.

But on the whole, he did not think them capable of such crimes. Even those who hated Wu Yu - he did not wish to respond with blind hatred either.

But if that was not the truth, then could it be that all of these were but lies?

If something as horrendous as the Demon Immortal Realm's extermination had occurred, who could have been able to record all of it!

Wu Yu could not guess. They discussed, but came to no conclusion.

Wu Jun was the most doubtful of them, having spent the longest time in the sky palaces.

It was Full Moon of Nanshan who played devil's advocate. He expressed his own view: "Perhaps the Jade Emperor is usually feigning benevolence? And the Eastern Sublime Gracious Divine Emperor and all the others are actually this cruel? After all, Old Wu, even you always say that cultivation is plunder. Given how high they rose, I don't believe that they've never done anything bad in their lives!"

This was a good point. The journey of cultivation was all plunder. The higher one went, the more one had plundered.

More often than not, that plunder was obtained by violence. How many equally talented immortals had fallen along the way before the hierarchy of today had emerged?

History was written by the victors.

Even if the sky palaces seemed orderly now, and the highest of immortal emperors no longer needed to rely on violence to gain resources, they must have stained their hands with blood long ago.

But Wu Yu and the others had no way of confirming if the scenes in the crystal ball were true or not.

While they were discussing this, the bronze pendant in Wu Yu's hands suddenly vibrated. They flew towards the crystal ball!

Wu Yu watched, eyes wide, unable to stop it. He saw that they fused into the crystal ball to form a bronze ball!

The bronze ball was covered in ancient runic patterns that seemed to hold the power of both bronze pendant and crystal ball. They came floating over to Wu Yu, and he could feel the swirling power within.

Clatter!

The bronze ball landed in Wu Yu's palm, with a jolt strong enough to split his skin. Blood oozed out and mingled with the bronze ball.

As his blood flowed into the ball, Wu Yu could feel that he could control the bronze ball. It was an epochal immortal treasure!

An epochal immortal treasure could be blood bonded with and matered by immortal, ghostly immortal, or demon immortal alike. And now this bronze ball had chosen Wu Yu. He now had an epochal immortal treasure.

"Could this be the great secret of the Eternal Emperor Tomb?"

Wu Yu wondered. He still had not recovered from the shock of seeing the immortal emperors and ghostly emperors attacking the demon immortals.

He looked unsteadily at the bronze ball in his hand. He felt incapable of fully mastering this epochal immortal treasure for now. Suddenly, he heard a voice ringing in his head, a voice full of hatred.
