When they learned that the door was actually open, the demonic emperors and Wu Jun were all shocked.

"Could it be that someone entered before us?" Their speculations sprang forth, but there was no point to it. They simply had two options before them: go in, or not?

If they went in, they might meet with unforetold dangers.

But if they did not go in, there was no point to staying here. They had no way back now, even if they wished to leave.

"We can only go for it." Wu Yu thought, even while his 1 million doppelgangers scouted ahead.

His 1 million doppelgangers could ensure he did not step into any immortal design traps or other dangers.

Very quickly, his clones assembled in front of the black doors, and then charged in.

The door only had a crack ajar, but it was enough for all of Wu Yu's clones to enter. They were in a huge area, even bigger than Underworld Dragon's Den.

This was just one hall.

Wu Yu's clones quickly searched the place, and found it safe. The only strange thing was a purple light that continually shone from the middle of the palace. It was a familiar hue, and seemed to indicate danger.

Wu Yu sent his clones closer to the source of purple light, and saw that it was actually a huge purple beast!

The beast's entire body was glowing with purple light. It sat in the middle of the hall, guarding it.

Wu Yu was mesmerized by the scene. The clones had to surround it from many different angles before he could clearly see it in full. It had a resplendent body, the flesh encased within black scales that also gleamed a dark purple.

Compared to its body, its neck was long and slender. But even so the neck was already huge. Wu Yu's clones did not even resemble ants before it. From its torso, a pair of wings protruded, that spanned several lesser realms. It was truly a destroyer of worlds.

And most striking of all were its eyes. The purple beast had a pair of violet eyes, that glowed with the same light as that which shone out from beneath its scales.

"This...... is the Violet-Eyed Emperor?"

Just as Wu Yu wondered his, he lost contact with all of his clones.

The violet beast had suddenly moved, and its attack had vaporized all 1 million doppelgangers immediately. Wu Yu could only recall purple light flooding the vision of his clones, before they were thoroughly destroyed.

"The real body of the Violet-Eyed Emperor."

Wu Yu shared what he had learned with the others, and the demonic emperors confirmed his identity.

"Seems like this corpse puppet was made from the real body of the Violet-Eyed Emperor. Probably even harder to defeat than the last human form one......" They all thought. However, they very quickly came up with a plan. A temporary alliance was formed, to deal with the Violet-Eyed Emperor corpse puppet.

After all, they had no way back - they had just confirmed this. Beyond the brick platform, immortal kernels howled certain death. Before them, this door. No other exit.

If they did not move forwards, they would be trapped here forever. Might as well move forward and make a bid for life.

"Let's put it out there first. When we go in, everyone has to fight at their best! If we continue to hurt each other, the last one alive might not even make it out of here. What do you say?" Celestial Meteor directed at Wu Yu.

"Indeed. Whoever goes in halfheartedly - I'll gladly kill them first!" Dignified Lava Beast's famous temper got the better of him again, as he stared angrily at Wu Yu.

Back at the white jade platform, Wu Yu had purposely allowed them to shoulder the burden in order to weaken them.

The demonic emperors had lost a lot of trust in Wu Yu after that. If not for the lack of other options, they would not be working with him.

And Wu Yu also only had this one choice anyway.

He nodded, and snickered. "Don't worry. If I don't do my best here, we will all die."

They all knew how strong the Violet-Eyed Emperor's corpse puppet would be. It would definitely be much more powerful than before. But if the six of them joined forces, just maybe they stood a chance.

They acted.

Before they entered the palace, the demonic emperors also tried many detection skills to confirm that there was truly no other danger. When they went in, they only wanted to deal with that one Violet-Eyed Emperor corpse puppet.

"You're slippery. You go in first."

In front of the ajar door, the demonic emperors urged Wu Yu and Wu Jun in first with hostile faces.

Because of his "history", the demonic emperors did not trust him. Besides, all of the information had been from Wu Yu's account. What if he was lying?

Therefore, they agreed to demand that he enter first.

"Still afraid I'm going to run? After I go in, you lot had better come in immediately. Otherwise if I'm killed, yall can't beat that corpse puppet anyway." Wu Yu laughed. He understood what they were thinking, and also that they did not dare remain outside.

Without hesitation, he led Wu Jun into the Graveguarding Palace.

Wu Yu moved through the black mists into a different area, where purple light filtered through the mists. Before him was the purple beast. After demolishing Wu Yu's clones, it did not immediately attack Wu Yu.

He and Wu Jun carefully edged towards the main hall. He could sense that the four demonic emperors had also crept in in their human form.

"Let's get cracking then."

Wu Yu said. He immediately attacked. It was time to get serious.

He first transformed into the golden ape, and then used crusader heavenly rule and santified flesh heavenly rule to bolster his physical strength manifold. And then he sent Submerged Cloud Seal blasting towards the Violet-Eyed Emperor corpse puppet!

A huge battle immediately broke out.

For the challengers, this was an epic battle that they had to face. They had no other option, and no other way back!

Following Wu Yu's lead, the demonic emperors also cast aside their inhibitions, and attacked the purple beast.

"Casting Heavenly Rule!"

Dignified Lava Beast began with his strongest heavenly rule, and a torrent of flames seared the purple beast.

"Abscission heavenly rule!"

Perpetual World Tree had an extremely powerful heavenly rule power prepared as well. His leaves began to fall, creating a withering wind that gusted towards the violet beast!

"Polar heavenly rule!"

Wu Jun was not standing idle either. The Primordial Immortal Dragon attacked even before the demonic emperors did. His Dragon Breath heavenly rule roared out against the violet beast.

All six had simultaneously used their strongest moves. With no way back, forward was all they could go. Either tear down the corpse puppet before them, or be doomed in Graveguarding Palace.

Their desire for survival allowed them to produce stunning power, and each of their heavenly rules fired out even stronger than usual.

But very quickly, their spirits were dashed.

The Violet-Eyed Emperor's corpse puppet only suffered a few scant cuts, but was largely unaffected. Its defenses were absolutely incredible.

The purple-glowing black scales had absorbed the majority of their offense, and even Celestial Meteor's direct head attack had not even managed to penetrate a scale.

To Wu Yu and the others, this was a huge blow. However, there was nothing for it but to keep fighting.

"Kill!"

The epic fight continued.

However, even before Wu Yu and the others had pulled out their second attack, the Violet-Eyed Emperor's corpse puppet vanished, appearing a ways behind Wu Yu. Its terrifying aura seemed to manifest, weighing down on Wu Yu.

A purple wind was whipped up from its wings, that came zipping towards Wu Yu.

"It's... used two different heavenly rule powers!" Wu Yu immediately understood. It had used a relocation heavenly rule power, followed by the purple wind attack. This corpse puppet was agile and strong.

Wu Yu immediately pulled out the Somersault Cloud to dodge. The sheer immensity of this palace meant that he could flip to his heart's content and not be afraid of ending up somewhere unknown.

Looking back, Wu Yu saw that the place he had just vacated had been wrecked by the purple wind. It had a twisting force to it, and a huge radius. If not for the Somersault Cloud, he would have not been able to avoid it.
