Both Spectral Fire Phoenix and Nightmare Ink Qilin were shocked as well. They had been prepared to sit back and relax - after all, this situation should not require their efforts - but Wu Jun was a 9-heavens immortal king, and Wu Yu could also defend against Diabolical Dragon King!

Vegetation began to grow aggressively from the void, dark green tendrils bursting forth to hold Nightmare Ink Qilin with surprising strength.

Green Wood World's constrictive powers diminished Nightmare Ink Qilin's strength by half at least. He bellowed in anger, and his own nightmare heavenly rule caught Full Moon of Nanshan in return!

It was a ball of ghastly figures which seemed to have come straight from hell. They instantly swallowed Full Moon of Nanshan up.

But with a quick twist of his body, Full Moon of Nanshan used Gone from the Skies, and he vanished from its midst.

Nightmare Ink Qilin started. He had never seen someone disappear right in the middle of battle before. He had completely lost track of Full Moon of Nanshan's presence. He was both bewildered and furious.

He was still bound by the dense vines, but could not find Full Moon of Nanshan at all. He howled and howled, but it was useless.

While Nightmare Ink Qilin was trapped by Flowered Branch of Reincarnation, Full Moon of Nanshan used his Gone from the Skies to slip his own bindings. Victory was already in his hands. It was only a matter of time now. Full Moon of Nanshan could run rings around Nightmare Ink Qilin.

But how could Ye Xixi voluntarily give up her advantage in battle?

Besides, if he died here no one would know at all. No one would take revenge on his behalf. At first, he had been thinking that he might find a way to leave after killing Wu Yu, and seek greener pastures.

That was all a dream now, his life on the brink of getting snuffed out.
