He blinked. Then, he saw Xie Lan's smiling face, and Fan Wen beside him. "Founder… shifu…" he called in a hoarse voice when he felt his eyes burned and his nose soured. He lowered his head to hide the pain in his eyes, but it exposed him through his tears that fell on the ground. "*sob" he clutched his aching chest with his right hand as he screamed.

At the same time, Chen Han, Wu Yuan and Fei Lin made Wu Ran fall to the ground. Wu Ran was finally defeated. The flying dust and sand have settled, and the light from the sun pierced their eyes. They were able to finally see again the clear, blue sky that brings them hope. But, what they have lost, they can never regain.

In the Stop By Town, the owner of the medicine shop peeked from the window when he heard the people outside gossiping. He saw in the distance that, before the large cloud of dust and sand afar disappeared, a light has flashed in the sky.

He waited for the sun shower, but it didn't come. Instead, he heard a rustling sound behind him. he turned and saw the child slowly opened his eyes and raised his head, meeting his gaze,

Suddenly, he felt an unnerving feeling. But, when he blinked, it was suddenly gone. He looked at the child who looked normal. "You've woken up." He spoke.

The boy didn't answer.

The old man suddenly felt nervous. This child isn't a mute, is he? He thought. He remembered the righteous cultivators that came to his shop and entrusted the child to him after the child's mother died. He sighed and shook his head.

Leave it be. He can't let the child experience any more loss. He thought and left to cook something for the child.

He really loves Chen Shen and was very happy when Chen Shen was born. Even when Chen Shen grew up being average and silent, he was teasing him, wanting for him to be a lively person.

"Dad. You found out." Chen Han said.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Chen Jing asked Chen Han. His face is dark. He was suspicious of Cheng Sheng.

"Will you kill him?" Chen Han looked at his father. "Will you let Ah Shen die… again?" he asked. "Ah Shen lives with him… I won't let you kill him." He told him and left.

"It's our neglect Ah Shen died." Chen Jing said when he heard Chen Qing's sobs behind him.

"Ah Shen… I'm sorry – " she cried.

Chen Han looked at Wu Ran before him. Then, he raised his head to look at Cheng Sheng, only to see him surrounded by the Xinfaxian Sect disciples, including Li Tian who has finally woke up after being exhausted from healing them. A smile formed in his lips.

"I am here to avenge my uncle." Fei Lin said.

"I am here to avenge my shifu." Wu Yuan said.

"Hahahahaha…" Wu Ran laughed after losing the battle. He laid on the ground, losing blood very quickly after he sustained multiple deep wounds from the three. Then, his gaze fell on the silent Chen Han. "What about you?" he asked. "Cheng Sheng avenged Fei Yin. What about you?" he looked at him. "You want to avenge your shifu?" he asked again when Chen Han didn't answer.

Everyone looked at Chen Han, except Cheng Sheng who is the only one unconscious.

"I am here…" Chen Han spoke. "To avenge the broken bond between us master and disciple." He answered as he stabbed Wu Ran, together with Wu Yuan and Fei Lin, in the heart.

Wu Ran watched them before a faint smile appeared on his lips. His hands unclenched, and something rolled away from his hand. At the same time, a light flashed in the sky.

Cheng Sheng, in his subconsciousness, felt himself floating. He can't see his body, nor feel it. Suddenly, amidst his subconsciousness, he heard someone… or something speaking in a cold and mechanical voice. He thinks it feels familiar, yet at the same time, not.

"Eliminating the bug, complete. Main system, scanning, complete. Auto-repair, starting. Complete. Main system re-launching... complete. Successful. New program launching... starting..."

Before Cheng Sheng could react, he felt his subconsciousness was pulled away.
