"AH LINGGG!!!" Lei Qing screamed.

"JING KANG!!!" Jing Cheng, Jing Bai and Jing Hei screamed.

"No! Don't move!" Zheng Fu Gong said when they saw Lei Qing, Jing Bai and Jing Hei ran towards the unconscious Lei Ling and Jing Kang after losing their minds for a moment because of shock.

But, it was too late. Wu Ran is about to attack again!

Cheng Sheng gritted his teeth while Xie Lan and Fan Wen flew to grab Lei Qing and Lei Ling while the nearby Li Nanzi and Tang Teng grabbed Jing Bai and Jing Hei. Su Yuan went to catch Jing Kang. Fortunately, they got disconnected with the ship, or else they would die if they would receive another attack of Wu Ran.

"Shapeshifting Blanket!" Cheng Sheng shouted.

The Shapeshifting Blanket immediately released Lei Ling and Jing Kang and flew, then spread wide to cover the whole ship. Xie Lan and Fan Wen caught Lei Ling and Lei Qing while Li Nanzi and Tang Teng successfully pulled Jing Bai and Jing Hei back while Su Yuan almost dropped Jing Kang.

Cheng Sheng grabbed the railing of the ship when he fell. But, it was useless since the Millennium Ship shook again when Wu Ran attacked! "AARH!" he screamed as his body was flung away from the impact.

CRASH! They felt their hearts were crashed at the same time the barrier of the Millennium Ship was crashed. Fortunately, Cheng Sheng reacted quickly and had the Shapeshifting Blanket cover the whole ship, or else the Millennium Ship would be crushed to pieces, along with them.

But – "CHENG SHENGGG!!!" they screamed as their eyes widened in horror when they saw Cheng Sheng fell.

The white Shapeshifting Blanket disappeared after it was torn to pieces after receiving Wu Ran's attack! They don't have the time to worry about Cheng Sheng, either, since the Millennium Ship hit the nearby mountain!

"AAAAAHH!!!" they screamed as they all fell. Then, they weakly raised their heads, only for their jaws to drop when they saw that half of the ship got buried in the mountain! "No…" they muttered in horror.

"Xiao Sheng!!!" Xie Lan cried after he gave Lei Ling to the still shocked Lei Qing. He pulled himself up and walked away, wanting to look for Cheng Sheng.

"LAN!!!" he heard Fan Wen cried.

Before Xie Lan could react, he was hit on the head and his body flew towards the cabin. His figure can't be seen.

"LANNN!!!" Fan Wen screamed as he crawled towards the cabin. His back was hit earlier and now he can barely move.

"Oh? He's still alive?" they heard Wu Ran spoke as he emerged from the dust and sand flying all around. "Quite tenacious, I see." He said as he glanced to the cabin.

Xie Lan is the biggest threat to Wu Ran, and the second is Zheng Fu Gong.

"Grandfather!" Zheng Yi cried and immediately jumped towards Zheng Fu Gong when he saw a light flashed.

"ZHENG YI!!!" Zheng Fu Gong cried after he saw Zheng Yi was hit by Wu Ran's attack!

"AH YIIII!!!" Jing Bai cried in horror.

"You're noisy!" Wu Ran snapped and waved his hand.

"AAAH!" Jing Bai was thrown away.

"Next is…" Wu Ran said as he looked around. Then, his eyes fell on Chen Jing who is unconscious after he protected Wu Fan earlier. "Yes. The two of them." He said as he approached them.

"Hey." A voice spoke in the silence, amidst the dust and sand that is obscuring everyone's sight.

"Ah. You're still alive?" Wu Ran spoke and turned to look at Cheng Sheng. His head is bleeding and there was a cut on his cheek. "Just like your founder." He said, referring to Xie Lan.

"Lan…" Fan Wen called as he crawled inside the broken-down cabin.

"Cheng… Sheng…" they all weakly called. If not impaled, then their limbs were broken, rendering them unable to move.

Cheng Sheng didn't answer Wu Ran and glanced at Li Tian who was still holding up the Healing Array. Wu Ran also turned to glance and raised his hand.

"I won't let you harm them!" Cheng Sheng said as he lunged forward, his sword raised to attack Wu Ran!

Meanwhile, they all saw something white flashed. The next second, they saw the Shapeshifting Blanket, which was torn to pieces earlier, covered Li Tian and the others like a wall!

"So, that thing can regenerate." Wu Ran said as he unsheathed his sword to block Cheng Sheng's attack.

"Cheng Sheng!" they exclaimed when they saw Cheng Sheng attacking Wu Ran. That's right… Cheng Sheng may have lost his cultivation but he still has his martial arts! They thought as hope was rekindled in their heart while they watched Cheng Sheng and Wu Ran exchanged blows!

But, only for their hope to die when they saw Wu Ran raised his left hand to attack Cheng Sheng with magic!

"CHENG SHENG!" they cried in alarm.

Cheng Sheng naturally was on guard towards Wu Ran. He immediately side-stepped.

"It's useless." Wu Ran told him as he waited for Cheng Sheng to be hit.

"For you." Cheng Sheng spoke and then suddenly grinned.

"?" Wu Ran was puzzled. Suddenly, he realized something. He turned and saw that the Shapeshifting Blanket was still acting as a wall for Li Tian and the others. Then, he turned, and then widened his eyes when he saw a similar white 'wall' appeared before Cheng Sheng!

BOOOOM!!!

"CHENG SHENG!" they cried and squinted their eyes through the smoke. Then, they heard someone coughed. "Cheng Sheng…?" fear struck their hearts, only to see when the smoke cleared that Cheng Sheng is still standing! He's still fine!

Then, the one who coughed was…? They turned, only to be shocked when they saw Wu Ran was coughing with blood! And… there was a large pit where he was standing earlier! Wait… this pit… they thought and turned to Cheng Sheng, only to see him pull out a familiar box from his qiankun sleeve.

"Exploding Pills. How does it taste?" Cheng Sheng asked as he looked at Wu Ran.

"Such petty tricks!" Wu Ran said and threw out an attack.

At the same time, the Shapeshifting Blanket flew to block Wu Ran's attack! Then, a colorful magic pill flew towards Wu Ran.

Wu Ran now knew what to do… or not. He raised his sword to strike the Exploding Pill away, only to be shocked when it suddenly exploded after it hit the blade of his sword. "AAARRHH!!!" he screamed.

"… so cool…" they muttered as they stared, dumbfounded, at the scene.

"If such petty tricks can make you go 'aaarrhh!', then I guess this whole world is doomed." Cheng Sheng spoke and then threw the last Exploding Pill to where Wu Ran is.

They heard another explosion. They though they'd hear Wu Ran scream again but they didn't hear it. Then, they saw, after the smoke was cleared, Wu Ran is standing. A barrier of demonic qi is before him. It protected him like a solid barrier from the Exploding Pill.

"Oh, no…" they muttered as their faces paled in horror.

"Is that all?" Wu Ran asked Cheng Sheng. "A petty trick is just a petty trick." He frowned.

Although he treats Xie Lan as the biggest threat to him, but that's because for him, Xie Lan is his strongest opponent. Although Zheng Fu Gong is strong, but he's already old and his body can't keep up. Chen Jing and Wu Fan are also to be wary of, but their strength isn't as close to Xie Lan's.

But, if there was another threat for him, it would be Cheng Sheng. Cheng Sheng isn't only the strongest mage, being of master level in all areas of alchemy. Cheng Sheng is scarier as a mage than a swordsman, since martial arts skills can be trained but in alchemy, your aptitude to it is what matters.

However, the biggest threat Cheng Sheng poses to Wu Ran is his unpredictability. Cheng Sheng is a strange person. He is full of contradictions. He is famous as a scum, but he's everyone also knows he is kind. Although these two things are of opposites, but it surprisingly fits Cheng Sheng well.

Because of this, Wu Ran can't figure out Cheng Sheng. This is also the reason why he was already caught off-guard by him, and his plans always disrupted. One moment Cheng Sheng is a waste, but the next moment he becomes brilliant. Such an unpredictable person really makes you mad, and want to destroy him.

Wu Ran grinned. "I wonder what will you show me next." He told him before his figure disappeared. The next second, he appeared behind Cheng Sheng, intending to take away Cheng Sheng's head!
