Huilong Continent, Southmost Region, Sand Sea Mountain.

"Careful!" Fei Yin cried and immediately pulled Cheng Sheng back when the ground violently shook and Cheng Sheng almost slipped off from the top of the rock that they landed in behind the Sand Sea Mountain.

"Thanks." Cheng Sheng smiled at Fei Yin.

Fei Yin stared at Cheng Sheng, then helplessly smiled back. He really can't get mad at him. "So, who do you want me to meet?" he asked. "Is this related to Bai Shen?" he remembered what he and Cheng Sheng talked before they left the Heilong Realm.

Before Cheng Sheng could answer, they heard footsteps coming towards them.

"You finally came back." A man's voice spoke with a hint of smile in it. But, instead of containing warmth, it made one feel uncomfortable instead.

Fei Yin and Cheng Sheng turned and saw an unfamiliar man coming towards them. If it was the usual, they would ignore the man or greet him back after he 'greeted' them. But, today isn't the usual day, and this isn't a usual place.

The whole world is currently in danger, and the southmost region is precisely the most dangerous place right now. For a person to appear here, he's definitely not your usual person.

"Who are you?" Fei Yin guardedly asked.

But, who would expect that the man would suddenly attack them?! Wait, no –

Fei Yin raised his sword to block the attack when he saw the man suddenly made a sharp turn and reached for Cheng Sheng behind him! His pupils shrank. He wouldn't be able to reach the man and protect Cheng Sheng! He thought. Then, he closed his eyes and loaded Fei Yin's character.

SHINK. The sound of the sword piercing a body reached Fei Yin's and Cheng Sheng's ears. Fei Yin opened his eyes and saw that his sword stabbed the man's body, while the man's sword was raised in the air, and about to descend on Cheng Sheng.

Suddenly, Fei Yin felt his whole body throbbed. His heart thudded loudly in his chest. His expression changed, and he suddenly have a bad feeling. This feeling is the same as what he felt before they left the Heilong Realm. "Sheng…?" he called and looked at Cheng Sheng who was calmly looking at him, then the man.

"NO!" the man screamed as he tried to remove his body from the sword. "This can't be… why did I die?!" he asked as he looked at the tip of the sword of Fei Yin that stuck out in front of his chest and is dyed with red – his blood. "I am sure I would have killed Cheng Sheng…" his voice suddenly trailed off when his gaze inadvertently landed on his lowered arm. His face paled in horror when he saw some square and transparent shapes appeared on his arm. "What… what the hell is this?!?!" he shrieked and flailed his arm, only to grunt in pain when the sword on his chest also moved and hurt him more.

Blood trickled down from the corner of his lips and he raised his head to look at Cheng Sheng. His eyes are filled with unwillingness, as well as resentment. But, he couldn't open his mouth anymore since he didn't have the energy to speak as he felt his energy left his body. He died.

"Sheng. This is…" Fei Yin spoke when he saw the pixels appeared in the man's body.

No. More precisely, the man's body turned to pixels!

"Sheng." Fei Yin called. He was about to speak again when he saw that the pixels suddenly rushed towards him! His eyes widened and he immediately pulled his sword back to block the pixels rushing towards him.

But, who knows that the pixels passed through his sword and hit him!

"Yin." As Fei Yin's body fall, he heard Cheng Sheng's voice spoke. "You don't have much time left, right?" he asked. He felt a warm current entered his body.

Fei Yin's eyes widened in shock. He wanted to open his mouth to speak, but found that he can't. He can't control his body! Fei Yin felt his cheeks were cupped by a pair of warm hands, followed by his lips feeling something warm and soft pressed against them.

"You have something you need to do. In order for us to be together, you have to finish it." Cheng Sheng said as his tears fell. "In order for us to live peacefully in the future, you have to destroy the Devourer. Yin…" he called and sobbed as he caught Fei Yin's body that is losing its warmth. "I'll wait for you. So, you definitely have to return." He said and hugged Fei Yin's body, that now cooled, tightly and he cried.

Yin watched Cheng Sheng cried over Fei Yin's body as he flew in the air, the distance between him and Cheng Sheng gradually increased until his consciousness finally left that dimension. In the blink of an eye, he returned to that room of endless white. Another second passed and memories streamed inside his mind.

Meanwhile, Cheng Sheng cried over Fei Yin's body. After a while, he saw a pair of sandals before him. he raised his head and saw beggar's clothes, then a wide hat covering the face of the person who looked like a beggar.

"Thank you. Lord Yin has now returned to the Ten Thousand Dimensions." Xi Tong spoke. His voice, face and eyes are without an emotion.

Cheng Sheng didn't speak. He turned to look at the place where Cheng Shu 'died'. Yes – it's Cheng Shu that man who attacked him just now, but was interrupted and later killed by Fei Yin. But, there's no 'Cheng Shu'. He isn't Cheng Sheng's uncle, nor is he from the Bailong Kingdom and its king. "Will he return?" Cheng Sheng asked, although he and Xi Tong already talked about it before.

"His battle against the Devourer will be an uphill battle." Xi Tong spoke. "This is to guarantee the survival of the remaining worlds." He said and looked behind Cheng Sheng when they felt the ground made a strong and violent shake as if it 'jumped'.

Cheng Sheng stumbled and immediately covered Fei Yin's body with his and slowly turned, only to see the Sand Sea Mountain suddenly 'deflated'! Cheng Sheng also saw that his barrier is slowly fading.

"It's fine." He spoke to Xi Tong who was silently watching the Sand Sea Mountain slowly 'deflate'.

Xi Tong looked at him.

"As long as he returns." Cheng Sheng said and looked at Fei Yin's face. He didn't know when did Xi Tong leave, nor he cared about it. He rose from the ground and picked up Fei Yin's body to bring it with him. "Ah!" he exclaimed when he tripped on a rock and he, along with Fei Yin's body, almost fell to the ground.

But, they didn't, since someone caught them. Cheng Sheng raised his head and saw Chen Han. Chen Han was smiling at him. Cheng Sheng smiled back and opened his mouth to speak. But, suddenly, he heard a soft sound, followed by a thud.

Cheng Sheng turned and saw that he dropped Fei Yin's body and his hands weakly fell to his side. Then, he looked down and saw a sword was stabbed on his chest. Chen Han wordlessly left after completing his task and returned to Wu Ran's side, who were actually standing in that area for who knows how long.

CRASH!!! A loud sound of something breaking was heard when Cheng Sheng's barrier finally broke. The Sand Sea Mountain continued to shake, and this time, more violently that the small cracks on the ground earlier turned bigger until the ground was almost split open!

"CHENG SHENG!!!" some voices cried from above.

This scene was what Xie Lan and the others has seen. "XIAO SHENG/SHENG-ER/CHENG-SHIDI!!!" they all cried in shock and horror when they saw Cheng Sheng stood still beneath them and Fei Yin's body was lying beside his feet. They also saw the sword on Cheng Sheng's chest, and the front of his clothes slowly dyed with red.

THUD. Cheng Sheng's body fell on the ground, just beside Fei Yin. The blood on his chest has spilled on the sand, dyeing the sand red! Everyone in the Millennium Ship finally returned to their senses. They immediately jumped down from the ship before drawing their swords to glide down from the air and to the ground!

"Xiao Sheng/Sheng-er/Cheng-shidi!" everyone cried and rushed to Cheng Sheng's body.

"Yin-er!" Fei Lin cried as he ran towards Fei Yin's body.

The others heard his cry and they turned, their faces heartbroken and grave, when they saw Fei Yin's lifeless body.
