"Are you sure you don't need me to accompany you?" Xie Lan asked when they have returned to Xinfaxian Sect.

Cheng Sheng shook his head. "No, founder." He answered.

"Xiao Sheng…" Fan Wen called as he held Cheng Sheng's hands tight. Then, he turned to Wu Yuan, Chen Han and Fei Yin.

Cheng Sheng smiled. "Shifu. Founder. I'm the one elder Ming wanted. Sect leader Wu coming with me is his and elder Ming's deal. And my elder brother – " he said and looked at Chen Han, only to grimace when his gaze swept past Yu Sheng and saw Yu Sheng glaring at him. He immediately composed himself. " – he has to save our father." He told them.

Everyone fell silent. Unwillingness can be seen in Sun Yi's eyes. However, he forced it back when he saw Wu Yuan's gaze filled with sadness. Sun Yi lowered his head. Wu Yuan didn't want him to go with them since he doesn't want to face a situation later where he had to choose between Wu Fan and Sun Yi. Li Tian and Feng Mo knew their capabilities. Even if their cultivation and strength rose after they passed through the Spring of Life, but against Ming Ye, they are lacking. Thus, they didn't suggest to join the quest.

As for Fei Yin… he is Cheng Sheng's reassurance. Jing Xian also wanted to come, but Fei Yin told him to stay in Xinfaxian as Fei Yin's reassurance in case something happened to him and Cheng Sheng. He has to stay to protect the Xinfaxian in their stead.

"Cheng-shixiong…" Lei Ling and You Rou called, silently crying. Lei Ling returned to see him off.

"Cheng-shidi." Lei Qing called. Even her can't help but to cry.

"Cheng Sheng." Tang Zhe called. The Huakai Sect and Wu Xi standing behind him.

"Cheng-shixiong!" Xiao Le cried and sobbed.

"Cheng Sheng." Sun Rong called. Sun Yi was standing beside him and is crying. Qie Shi was looking at him with a complicated gaze.

"Everyone…" Cheng sheng's eyes widened as he gaped at them in disbelief. "Are we in the final chapter already? Ow!" he cried when Fei Yin hit him in the head. Even if they are already lovers, but their interactions as fellow disciples didn't change. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." He immediately said as he turned to Fei Yin, looking wronged.

Everyone smiled then laughed when they saw the usual interaction between Cheng Sheng and Fei Yin.

Cheng Sheng sighed as he stepped inside the array, leading him, Fei Yin, Chen Han and Wu Yuan to the Youxiwang Sect.

"Yuan!" Sun Yi cried as he ran towards Wu Yuan and hugged him tight, never wanting to part.

"Ah Yi…" Wu Yuan's breath hitched as he hugged Sun Yi tighter, then deeply kissed him.

"Chen Han…" Li Tian's eyes are red because of tears.

"Ah Tian…" Chen Han smiled as he pulled Li Tian to a hug. "Wait for me to come back." He told him before he planted a kiss on Li Tian's forehead, then freed him.

"Ah Yi…" Wu Yuan called after he reluctantly parted their kiss. "Wait for me." He whispered before he let Sun Yi be pulled by Sun Rong when the array had activated.

"YUAN!" Sun Yi cried as he struggled out of Sun Rong's grasp. "YUAAANNNN!!!" he screamed after he finally escaped from Sun Rong. He reached out his hand, wanting to pull Wu Yuan back. Wu Yuan also reached out his hand. Sun Yi leapt, and the tip of his finger touched the tip of Wu Yuan's finger, feeling a momentary warmth.

But, only for Sun Yi to lose that drop of warmth and grab thin air, falling to the ground when Wu Yuan, along with Cheng Sheng, Fei Yin and Chen Han disappeared. Everyone finally can't hold it back anymore and cried.

"YUUUAAANNN!!!" Sun Yi screamed as he hit the ground, as if hitting it could return Wu Yuan to him. But he knew it was for naught.

Wu Yuan, Cheng Sheng, Fei Yin and Chen Han had already arrived in Youxiwang Sect.

Cheng Sheng's and the others' figures still haven't appeared when the demonic cultivators have already heard Cheng Sheng's irritating voice. "What a warm welcome." He said as the array on the ground lit up, and then their figures finally appeared.

"It's Cheng Sheng!" the demonic cultivators cried as they immediately aimed their weapons towards the array.

"Oh?" Cheng Sheng's lips were pulled in the corners for a smile as he slowly opened his eyes and looked at the hundreds of demonic cultivators surrounding them. "Are you sure you wanted to kill me? How do you think will your Lord punish you if you all 'accidentally' killed me?" he asked as he grinned at them, which made the demonic cultivators angrier, increasing their killing intent directed towards him.

"… you're really the best in pulling aggro." Fei Yin whispered, which made Cheng Sheng almost laughed out loud had it not for the serious atmosphere. And so, his lips could only twitch, which made the demonic cultivators think he was annoyed.

"Ha!" the demonic cultivators scoffed.

"Enough." Ming Ye's voice was heard.

Chen Han's pupils constricted and he subconsciously turned to the direction of Ming Ye's voice. "Sh-sh…" his lips quivered, making his word incomplete.

It's better to be incomplete, since Ming Ye betrayed them. Ming Ye betrayed their trust. "I've bought Cheng Sheng." Wu Yuan spoke when Ming Ye finally appeared and descended before them.

"Shif…" Chen Han uttered, his voice is hoarse. His eyes reddened as he looked at Ming Ye, who is his second father.

Ming Ye glanced at him. "Still calling me that even though I've harmed your father?" he said, his voice as cold as his eyes. He didn't spare a second to Chen Han anymore, which made him miss the pain that flashed in Chen Han's eyes. "Cheng Sheng." He called as his gaze fell upon Cheng Sheng. "You're so daring to come here even you know this is a trap." He said.

Cheng Sheng gracefully smiled. "How can I not come?" he asked. "I can save father. I can save former sect leader Wu, too. As well as – " he said as he met Ming Ye's eyes which narrowed. " – elder Luo, too, am I wrong?" he asked.

Ming Ye's answer is waving his sleeve. A strong force hit Cheng Sheng and Cheng Sheng's body flew to the roof.

"SHENG!" Fei Yin called.

"Ah Sheng!" Chen Han cried in shock. He didn't expect for Ming Ye to hurt Cheng Sheng. And before his eyes… well, Ming Ye had even made thousands of people lose their home, as well as their life. This isn't surprising.

"Cheng-shidi!" Wu Yuan called.

Before the three of them could move, they were surrounded by the demonic cultivators. "Shifu!" Chen Han called when he saw Ming Ye flew and clutched Cheng Sheng's neck. "Let go of Ah Sheng!" he said through his gritted teeth.

"You said you needed Cheng-shidi to revive Luo-shishu!" Wu Yuan said. "Why are you harming him?!" he asked.

Ming Ye turned to them. "Chen Han. Are you still pretending stupid? I'm not your shifu. And it isn't you who could order me!" he said as he blasted Chen Han away, making Chen Han fall to the lake.

"Chen Han!" Fei Yin called. He gritted his teeth. He glanced at Cheng Sheng's pale face before he flew and dived on the cold water of the lake to save Chen Han.

"Ming Ye! You've gone too far!" Wu Yuan shouted as he took a step, only to stop when the demonic cultivators stabbed his arm.

"Remind me again who brought Cheng Sheng in my hands?" Ming Ye coldly smiled. Seeing Wu Yuan froze, he chuckled. "Fortunately for you, I didn't deceive you and kill Cheng Sheng. I just wanted make Luo Shi live again." He said before he flew, carrying the unconscious Cheng Sheng in his hand, and then disappear from their eyes. "Bring the guests in. I don't want any mishap to happen, making Cheng Sheng play tricks on me in case one of them dies." His voice rang in the air before it faded.

Wu Yuan gnashed his teeth in anger before he flung his sleeve, making the demonic cultivators step back. Before they could react, he flew in the air and turned, then dove into the lake to look for Chen Han and Fei Yin who still haven't gone back.

"Oh, no! They went in the water! The water is deep and chillingly cold!" one of the demonic cultivators cried.

They all gnashed their teeth in frustration. "Look for them!" they all immediately dove in the lake, too.
