Everyone turned when they suddenly heard a sob. They were too engrossed in listening to Jing Kang that they didn't notice someone has approached them from behind.

"Lei-shidi." Sun Yi exclaimed.

However, Lei Ling's eyes that are filled with tears are staring at Jing Kang. "You – " he said as he wiped his tears, but to no avail since his tears just kept falling. His voice is hoarse from crying. " – you won't be alone anymore. I'm here. I'll accompany you, for the rest of your life." He told him as he stared at Jing Kang's reddened eyes that are staring fervently at him. "Or was your promise before is false?" he asked.

Jing Kang didn't answer and just walked towards Lei Ling. Before Lei Ling could react, Jing Kang hugged him tight. Lei Ling almost suffocated, but he knew these are Jing Kang's feelings and so he hugged him back.

"Ling Ling." Jing Kang called, his voice deep and hoarse as he held back his tears. "Before, my sky fall on me, and I disliked things that fall, including the leaves, including people." He said. "However, that day, when you fell on me, stained my favorite clothes and tried to escape from me, I started to stop disliking things that fall. It's because I fell on you. That's why, when you fell on me during the competition, I caught you. Because I want you to only fall for me, for I will always be there to catch you." He told him.

Lei Ling sobbed, but because of happiness and he hugged Jing Kang tight. "I knew it!" he said. "That day you brought me to your house, it's because you have evil intentions towards me!" he laughed to make the atmosphere lighter.

Jing Kang let go of him and stared at Lei Ling's face. "That's right." He honestly answered.

Lei Ling choked and coughed. He was just joking! This fourth young master Jing is too serious! Wait, he's really serious that day?! He stared at Jing Kang in shock.

"I really wanted to bring you home. I was looking for an opportunity, and it arrived when you fell on top of me." Jing Kang said.

Lei Ling's face blushed in shame. "Hey! Be mindful of your words - !" he said. However, his words were cut short when Jing Kang gently wiped his tears off of his face.

"And so, I established a rule that the next person that will enter our residence, aside from me, my family and our servants, will be my wife." He told Lei Ling.

Lei Ling's heart skipped a beat and his face is beet red. He glanced at the others, only find they looked so calm. Wait?! He thought as his face was covered with dark lines. That day, did they already know?! So I'm the only one who was kept in the dark?!

He gaped at Jing Kang. "You… you're really – " he said and buried his burning face on Jing Kang's chest.

Jing Kang smiled and embraced Lei Ling. Cheng Sheng clapped when he saw the smile on Jing Kang's face because the person he liked is now in his embrace. Fei Yin followed and clapped his hands, then Sun Yi, Chen Han, Xie Lan, Jing Hei, Jing Bai, Jing Rui and Zheng Fu Gong. One could say these two's relationship is warmly welcomed and blessed.

"Wait. Now that Lei Ling is here, could it be… Ah Yi – " Jing Bai's eyes widened an he dashed to the Yunxiao Inn, only to see Zheng Yi slowly sitting up on the couch. "Ah Yi…" he muttered under his breath as his eyes reddened because of tears.

Zheng Yi turned and his pupils shrank when he saw Jing Bai. "Xiao Bai – " he called, his lips are quivering.

Jing Bai's heart thumped loudly when he heard Zheng Yi's address to him. That was the nickname Zheng Yi was calling him when they were young, before Qi Ling could remove Zheng Yi's memories. "Ah Yi!" he cried as he ran towards Zheng Yi and hugged him tight. "Ah Yi… Yiyi!" he called as he cupped Zheng Yi's face and kissed him.

Zheng Yi's eyes widened as he stared at Jing Bai in shock. Wait! Who is this kissing monster?! What did I miss?! Why is Jing Bai kissing me?! And through my mask! He thought as his face was covered in dark lines. Jing Bai overpowered him, and so he can't fight back. Even if there's a thin cloth separating their lips, but Zheng Yi could feel those warm and soft lips moving against his lips.

His face burned up to the roots of his hair. He became a stone in the couch as he waited until Jing Bai was finished kissing him. Zheng Yi knows, that if there's just no cloth obstructing Jing Bai, Jing Bai would have had inserted his tongue inside his mouth. The thought made Zheng Yi's scalp go numb.

Zheng Fu Gong, Jing Rui, Jing Cheng, Jing Hei, Xie Lan, Cheng Sheng, Fei Yin, Chen Han and Sun Yi have arrived and this is the scene that they saw: Yu Sheng and Zuo Zhe were sitting on the side while silently watching Jing Bai ravish Zheng Yi who was already become a statue.

Zheng Fu Gong almost got a heart attack and Jing Cheng and Jing Hei immediately caught him when he almost collapsed to the ground. "Z-Zheng Yi – " he called in between his breaths as he stared wide-eyed at Jing Bai and Zheng Yi. It was obviously too much of a stimulation for him.

It was as if Zheng Yi had woken up. "Grandfather!" he cried and immediately pushed Jing Bai who stumbled on the floor. "Grandfather! Help me!" he said as he ran to Zheng Fu Gong whole crying. His beautiful eyes wet with tears really made one's heart feel soft towards him. "Xiao Bai… xiao Bai is a pervert!" he said and pointed Jing Bai on the ground.

Everyone. "…" let's give a moment of silence for Jing Bai and listen to his heart breaking. This is an outright rejection!

Jing Bai, indeed, his heart broke. "Ah Yi?" he called as he slowly turned to Zheng Yi. "You… don't remember…?" my teasing to you. He added in his heart when he saw Zheng Yi's confused expression. He felt his heart is slowly sinking to the abyss. "Ah Yi…" he called as he lowered his head.

"What do you mean I don't remember? What should I remember? We were friends, right? So why did you kiss me?!" Zheng Yi asked.

Jing Kang and Lei Ling have finally arrived and heard what Zheng Yi said. Jing Cheng looked at Zheng Yi's sincere confusion and turned to Jing Bai's hurt expression. "… Cheng Sheng, can you tell us what's going on?" he finally asked the person who might know the best of the current situation.

"'Cheng Sheng'?" Zheng Yi spoke and looked around. "Who is Cheng Sheng?" he asked.

It's as if everyone was struck by lightning. Zheng Fu Gong held his grandson's shoulder. "Zheng Yi. How much do you remember?" he asked.

Jing Bai, who was silently listening, thought he's gonna be pushed to the deepest part of the abyss when he heard Zheng Yi's question. Zheng Yi… doesn't know Cheng Sheng? He raised his head and saw Zheng Yi's eyes.

Cheng Sheng coughed. "I think… he still hasn't fully regained his memories despite his soul returning." He explained as he scratched his head. "He's the one affected the most by Spirit Infiltration, and it was done for a long time, so we have to wait until his memories return." He explained before he turned to Jing Bai. "Be patient." He told him.

How can Jing Bai not be patient? He has been waiting for Zheng Yi for more than a decade. Waiting for a little longer doesn't change his feelings. "En." He answered, his heart was comforted. He stared deeply at Zheng Yi before he walked away.

"Huh? What's going on? What 'Spirit Infiltration'?" Zheng Yi asked. "What happened to me? Grandfather?" he turned to Zheng Fu Gong.

Zheng Fu Gong helplessly sighed before he pulled Zheng Yi to the side. "Zheng Yi, it's like this. When you were young, you've met second young master Jing. However, you've forgotten him after." He told him.

"What?!" Zheng Yi was shocked. "How can I forget him?!" he asked, his cheeks have a tinge of blush.

"Qi Ling removed your memories as a part of his schemes." Zheng Fu Gong sighed as he patiently explained to him everything that happened, including the recent attacks of the demonic cultivators, disrupting the Intersect Competition.

Zheng Yi gaped at Zheng Fu Gong in shock. "No way…" he muttered. "If that happened, then – " he said and turned to where Jing Bai has left. " – I've hurt xiao Bai's feelings?"
