"Mn." Jing Hei nodded while Qian Lin fell silent.

Jing Bai clenched his fists. "Qi Ling." he gritted his teeth.

Just as their voice fell, they heard the explosion above them and then the walls and the ground shook!

"AAAAH - !" they all exclaimed as they placed their hands and back to the wall to steady themselves before they dodged the rocks that fell on them!

"Watch out!" Jing Hei cried and pulled Jing Bai when a rock fell from above them.

"Thanks." Jing Bai said. Jing Hei nodded.

"If only Jing Kang was here, we could've had an array to protect us from the falling rocks – " Jing Cheng said with a sigh as they dodged the falling rocks.

Right as Jing Cheng spoke, they heard a familiar voice called. "Da ge!"

Jing Cheng blinked as he looked at Jing Bai and Jing Hei. "… am I dreaming, or hallucinating?" he asked. "Why did I hear Jing Kang?" he asked.

"Da ge! It's you, right?!" Jing Kang's voice asked from somewhere. "We can hear you from the walls! I think there's only a wall separating us from you." He told him.

"Ah Kang?! It's really you?!" Jing Bai exclaimed.

"En." Jing Kang answered. "I'm with young master Feng, then met second young master Sun and young master Kang together with the Shanliangde Sect who reunited." He explained.

"Jing Kang!" Jing Cheng called. "Are you alright?" he asked.

"En. However, we have one injured – third young master Xi." Jing Kang answered, referring to Xi Xing. "We have just reached a dead end and were looking for a way to get out, but then I heard your voices." He explained. "You were reunited with them?" he asked.

"En." Jing Cheng sighed with relief.

"How about we break the walls?" it was Feng Mo who spoke.

"Not good. The whole cave is currently shaking. If we add more to the shaking, might as well we'll all be buried here." It was Kang Ce.

"Then, what should we do? We're only a wall away – " Xi Ming asked.

Meanwhile, above the abyss.

"… you've heard it, right?" Chen Han asked as he looked at the Huakai Sect.

Tang Zhe nodded. "Yeah. They were voices." He said. "Could it be, there are other contestants in the abyss?" he muttered.

"Ge, the cave…" Tang Yun reminded him.

Chen Han's eyes widened as he connected the dots. "The Cave of Retribution is in the abyss?!" he asked.

Tang Zhe nodded, not bothered hiding the information from them. "Yes. When we entered the underground palace earlier, xiao Yun was touched by a cursed creature and was possessed by its memories." He explained. "In its memories, there's the abyss." He said and pointed the abyss surrounded by the gigantic insects.

"If there are other contestants in the abyss, then, Ah Sheng might be there with the others…" Chen Han looked at Li Tian. "AH SHENG!!!!" he yelled. "ARE YOU THERE?!" he asked.

In the abyss, inside the Cave of Retribution.

Their eyes widened when they heard a voice called out. "That voice - !" Jing Bai turned.

"Chen Han!" Qian Lin spoke.

"Da ge. Is there someone above?" Jing Kang asked.

"It's Chen Han." Jing Cheng answered. "He is calling for Cheng Sheng. He must have heard our voices from the explosion earlier – " he explained.

"However, Cheng Sheng isn't here with us…" Jing Kang said.

"Is Cheng-shidi with you?" Feng Mo asked.

"No." Sun Yi answered. "We didn't hear Cheng-shidi's voice…" he said and then smiled. "But, it is possible they are taking him as a hostage – "

"How can we?!" Jing Cheng asked through the wall.

Sun Yi just chuckled. Jing Kang sighed when he saw the troublemaker Sun Yi. "Da ge, he's just messing with you." He told Jing Cheng.

Jing Cheng immediately calmed down, but he wanted to curse and so he just kicked the wall to vent his anger.

"Da ge." Jing Hei called when he remembered something. "Earlier, before we fell, we were surrounded by those creatures. So…" he said as his voice faded.

Jing Cheng, Jing Bai and Qian Lin froze. "Damn it!" Jing Cheng cursed. "How do we send a message to them?! A message talisman?! Send one to Chen Han!" he told them.
