Chapter 1718: Gathering Powerful Allies

The Spirit Realm was the holy land of the Void Spirit Tribe.

It held a similar meaning to the holy land of the Blood Tribe.

The only difference was that only Holy Disciples could enter the Blood Tribe holy land, but the Spirit Realm was open to the entire Tai Chu Continent as there were no ancient restrictions and the spatial holes leading into it appeared at random locations.

Even the Void Spirit Tribe Dao Integration Stage super mighty figures were unable to predict the exact location of where the spatial holes were going to appear next.

The three spatial holes were all situated in the northern region of the Tai Chu Continent, one of which was situated in the Void Spirit Realm, another of which was situated in the Spirit Lake Realm, and the final one was situated within the White Frost Forest near the Creation Realm.

Every time the Spirit Realm opened up, countless living beings would enter it to find opportunities.

This was not just limited to Void Spirit Tribe living beings, but other living beings from all over the continent would also enter it to look for opportunities.

The Spirit Realm wasn’t just the holy land of the Void Spirit Tribe; it was more so an indispensable part of the Tai Chu Continent, and the wealth within the Spirit Realm belonged to all living beings within the Tai Chu Continent.

At least, that was what all of the foreign living beings who went in there to plunder treasures and opportunities said.

An Lin felt like they were right!

Xu Xiaolan’s heart jolted upon seeing An Lin’s firm resolution to help her exact her revenge.

“An Lin, any living beings can enter the Spirit Realm, but it’s still a very dangerous place.” Xu Xiaolan was still quite hesitant.

The God Engulfing Skeleton and Ember had also entered the Spirit Realm. This was a world that they had no control over to theoretically, so it was an ideal place to hunt them down.

However, the Void Spirit Tribe held the Spirit Realm in extremely high regard, and the Spirit Realm was always stacked with countless Void Spirit Tribe powerful beings and mighty figures in the past, so it was still an extremely perilous place.

“How can we pass up on such an ideal opportunity? Even the God Engulfing Skeleton and Ember have entered the Spirit Realm, so we should take care of both of them at once.” An Lin was not fearful at all. “Apparently, at the height of the soul power tide, no one can exit the Spirit Realm. Only after the soul power tide begins to recede can they leave. This equates to a period of twenty days, in which no one can escape, so this is an ideal opportunity!”

Xu Xiaolan was finally convinced to go to the Spirit Realm upon An Lin’s insistence.

She now had the ability to exact her revenge, so she didn’t want to wait any longer!

Xu Xiaolan drew her sword. “Last time, you, Black Spirit Snake, and I surrounded the God Engulfing Skeleton, but it was still able to get away. This time, I’m going to cut down both the God Engulfing Skeleton and Ember!”

An Lin also drew his sword. “I would love to come on your noble quest and accompany you as you slay your enemies and carve out a path of light and justice!”

The two of them exchanged smiling glances before devising a plan.

In order to make the mission safer, they decided to call on some reinforcements.

The powerful beings defending the Kingdom of the Nine States were definitely off-limits, but Little Huang could come. Aside from that, An Lin contacted Black Spirit Snake via voice transmission talisman, asking her if she was interested in going to the Spirit Realm.

Black Spirit Snake’s reply was very straightforward. “Don’t bother me if it’s not a battle against the Heavenly Human Tribe!”

An Lin sheepishly cut off the voice transmission. However, the voice transmission talisman suddenly lit up again a short while later.

“Senior An Lin, I’ll come!” White Spirit Snake’s excited voice sounded, and it was intermingled with Black Spirit Snake’s enraged cries of “Oh no you don’t!” and “Are you out of your mind?”.

An Lin didn’t quite know what to do here, and he turned to Xu Xiaolan.

Xu Xiaolan nodded with a smile.

Thus, White Spirit Snake became the newest addition to their Spirit Realm team.

An Lin, Xu Xiaolan, Little Huang, and White Spirit Snake. This was already quite a formidable lineup, and they were confident that they could hunt Ember and the God Engulfing Skeleton down!

However, right when An Lin was preparing to set off, his voice transmission talisman lit up again.

“Brother An Lin, wanna meet up in the Spirit Realm?” the Battling Buddha’s voice sounded.

An Lin’s eyes lit up. “Yes, yes, yes! Let’s go kick some Void Spirit Tribe a*s!”

“Hahaha, nice! I’ve been itching for a fight recently, so kicking some Void Spirit Tribe a*s sounds fantastic to me,” the Battling Buddha’s bold voice sounded again.

An Lin responded in a serious voice, “For the Kingdom of the Nine States, for the human race, for the entire continent, we must destroy these evil beings. We must uphold justice and act as a beacon of light—”

Clack.

The voice transmission was cut off.

The Battling Buddha scratched his ears. “Jeez, he’s even more chatty than my master.

“Wait, I forgot to ask him where we are meeting…”

In the northern region of the Spirit Lake Realm.

There was a Vast Ice Lake from which bursts of frost exuded, and there was also a massive blue spatial hole above.

It revolved relentlessly like a vortex, sucking at the vital energy and soul power on the continent while exuding an extremely powerful spatial force at the same time.

This was one of the three entrances into the Spirit Realm on the Tai Chu Continent.

One powerful being after another had already entered the blue spatial hole.

Their mission was not to slay enemies, but instead, they were there to secure treasures and inheritances.

The Spirit Realm was actually an ancient battleground, which was also the place that the Spirit Patriarch had once ruled over and perished. This was a boundless land with countless valuable remains, strange plants, lost artifacts, and even lost inheritances.

If it weren’t for the fact that all living beings inside would perish from the backlash of the Heavenly Dao after the Spirit Realm closed, they wouldn’t even be able to bring themselves to leave.

An Lin and Xu Xiaolan rode atop Little Huang and quickly arrived at the Spirit Realm entrance at the Spirit Lake Realm.

“My God, is that a phoenix?”

All of the powerful beings gathered at the Vast Ice Lake became extremely excited. Some of them were even bowing slightly as a gesture of respect and concession toward the phoenix’s higher-level bloodline.

“And the Divine Phoenix Maiden!”

An Lin was now at the height of his popularity, and the powerful beings gathered at the Vast Ice Lake erupted into a frenetic frenzy.

All of the powerful beings were struck by a sense of instinctive fear when they recalled back to the battles of An Lin that they had witnessed. They were quite concerned that An Lin’s battles would sweep them up as collateral damage.

“Senior An Lin!” an excited voice sounded.

An Lin saw White Spirit Snake waving excitedly at him from a distance away.

An extremely pissed off Black Spirit Snake was standing beside her.

An Lin suddenly became excited. Was this a buy one get one free deal?

“An Lin, I’ll be telling Her Majesty Nuwa about how bad of an influence you are on my sister!” Black Spirit Snake gritted her teeth as she glared at An Lin.

Black Spirit Snake was already in despair and could only bring out Her Majesty Nuwa to try and take An Lin down a notch.

“What’s this about being a bad influence?” An Lin spoke with firm expression, “I am trying to eliminate the enemies of the human race and even the entire continent!”

The veins on Black Spirit Snake’s forehead bulged, but she repressed her urge to bring out her massive sword.

“Senior An Lin, let’s go in.” White Spirit Snake made her way over to An Lin joyfully.

“Let’s wait for a bit longer. There’s still someone else coming,” An Lin replied.

“Who?” White Spirit Snake was intrigued.

“The most ferocious fighter in the Buddhist Kingdom.” An Lin smiled.
