Chapter 1657: Arrival of the Reinforcements
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
“Let’s get out of here first,” Tina suggested.
“The Heavenly Heaven God was able to find the Divine Mirror World and forcefully open up a passageway between the two worlds as it knew the location in the Tai Chu Continent at which I had entered the Divine Mirror World.
“If we leave this place and change our location, even the Heavenly Heaven God wouldn’t be able to do anything to us.”
An Lin felt like this was a good idea and proceeded to leave.
However, at this moment, a youth with an aura as insignificant as a speck of dust made his way toward them.
He seemed to be moving quite slowly, but he covered a distance of several hundred kilometers with each and every step. He held a silver crescent moon object in his hand, and even though no one knew what it was, it looked quite bad*ss.
The youth faltered slightly upon seeing An Lin and his group.
“Er… where are the enemies? And why do you all look so happy?”
The youth looked at An Lin and the others with a confused expression, wondering if he had been fed with false information.
Weren’t they supposed to have been surrounded by five Heavenly Gods? Weren’t they supposed to be in an extremely dire situation? Why did they look like they were having a picnic instead?
And where did the five Heavenly Gods go?
“Chen Chen!” An Lin was extremely touched. “I knew you would come!”
Chen Chen: “…”
Chen Chen was speechless. He felt like he had been swindled by the Grandmaster Construction Cultivator.
“So your relationship with Chen Chen really is as solid as you say.” Dongfang Zhuangshi was both shocked and a little envious.
Chen Chen made his way over to An Lin with a speechless expression. “What’s going on? Where are the enemies?”
An Lin began to explain the situation, “So on so forth, so on so forth.”

Chen Chen was quite amazed after hearing An Lin’s story. “You can do that?”
He had truly been dazzled by An Lin’s extraordinary plan. Using the world created by a God of Creation to trap the Heavenly Gods? What imagination and courage!
“I can’t help but feel like the Heavenly Gods are a little bit stupid in this case,” Chen Chen murmured.
An Lin paused momentarily before offering his insight, “I think it must be because they were driven into a blind rage by all of the sh*t Tina kept on throwing at them, and their fury clouded their judgment.”
Chen Chen’s lips twitched upon hearing this. What a bullsh*t explanation!
If the Heavenly Gods within the Divine Mirror World were to hear their conversation, they would probably explode with rage again.
They had clearly been screwed over by the Heavenly Heaven God, but they were being treated as if they were retarded!
Right at this moment, wind and clouds suddenly surged in the distance.
A graceful man in an imperial robe rushed over from afar.
He was the most powerful being in the Kingdom of the Nine States, the Celestial Thearch!
The Celestial Thearch was also holding a strange item of indeterminate function.
Almost at the same time, the sky in the east became completely dim.
Patriarch Zhu Yin rushed over atop a red cloud seemingly with mountains of corpses and oceans of blood behind him, creating an extremely terrifying scene to behold.
“An Lin, are you alright?” The Celestial Thearch looked at An Lin before catching sight of Chen Chen, upon which his expression shifted slightly. “Where are our enemies? Did they get chased off?”
Chen Chen was here, but the Heavenly Gods were nowhere to be seen. As such, this was the only possible explanation he could think of.
“An Lin, I’m glad you’re alright,” Patriarch Zhu Yin said with a smile.
An Lin was a little surprised that Patriarch Zhu Yin had come.
An Lin knew that Patriarch Zhu Yin wanted to detach himself completely from this war. As such, he didn’t really have any expectations for Patriarch Zhu Yin, but he really did travel here for his sake.

An Lin recounted what had happened to the two new arrivals.
Sure enough, the Celestial Thearch and Patriarch Zhu Yin were both astonished as well after hearing his story.
“You can do that?” The Celestial Thearch drew a sharp intake of breath.
“Tina, you have a portable world that can follow you wherever you go? That’s amazing! And you can even trap Heavenly Gods within your world. That proves that your world is very much out of the ordinary. Do you feel any negative side-effects right now?” Patriarch Zhu Yin inspected the tiny fairy with excitement and curiosity.
Tina shook her head. “Not at all! I’m just worried that the Heavenly Gods are going to destroy my world in a fit of rage!”
“Don’t worry about that. You will suffer a backlash if you attack a Heavenly God, but the Heavenly Gods will also suffer a backlash from the Heavenly Dao if they were to go on a spree of destruction and slaughter in your world, so they wouldn’t do that.” Patriarch Zhu Yin revealed another vital piece of information.
He was then greeted by the sight of everyone looking at him with peculiar expressions.
“Why are you all looking at me like that?” He was perplexed.
“Who was it that said they could kill anyone who entered their world, even if the invader was a Heavenly God?” An Lin spoke expressionlessly.
“If it wasn’t for that reminder from Xiao Fu, I would most likely have perished from the Heavenly Dao’s backlash already,” Tina also spoke expressionlessly.
Xu Xiaolan chuckled coldly. “How about we set a Heavenly God loose in Ding Xiaoru’s world and let him show us how he kills Heavenly Gods!”
Patriarch Zhu Yin had cold sweat pouring down his face. “L-let me explain. I really didn’t know at that time that this little fairy had created a world of her own, and how was I supposed to know that Heavenly Gods would invade your world?”
Everyone continued to stare silently at him.
Even the Celestial Thearch and Chen Chen were looking at him with disdainful expressions.
Patriarch Zhu Yin finally gave up on trying to talk his way out of this. “Alright, I’m sorry, Tina. This is all my fault. I was only thinking about flexing at that time…”
The paramount god of the Ghost Tribe, the most powerful being in the entire Opposite Shore Realm, was now admitting to his mistakes like a guilty child. The world would probably be in disbelief if word of this was to spread!
Everyone’s expression eased upon receiving such an earnest apology from Patriarch Zhu Yin.
“You should’ve just apologized at the beginning, Brother Zhu.” An Lin patted Patriarch Zhu Yin’s shoulder with a smile. “We’re good friends of one another, so we would definitely forgive you if you apologize.”
“I forgive you.” Tina nodded.
She had almost died after receiving misleading information from Patriarch Zhu Yin, but it didn’t happen in the end, and Patriarch Zhu Yin had delivered a sincere apology, so she wasn’t going to hold it against him.
Of course, the other reason why everyone was so quick to forgive Patriarch Zhu Yin was that he had arrived on the scene to save them even though it could quite possibly result in a battle against the Heavenly Gods.
Everyone departed from the Sinister Spirit Beast Cesspool.
Patriarch Zhu Yin returned to the Opposite Shore Realm as An Lin didn’t really need him anymore.
He was not quite ready to fight the Heavenly Gods by An Lin’s side yet.
Chen Chen and the Celestial Thearch accompanied An Lin and his group back to the Kingdom of the Nine States, and all of them felt much safer there.
They then turned toward Tina.
“What are we going to do to these Heavenly Gods next?”
An Lin spoke with a smile, but a cold light was flashing in his eyes.
