I Might Be A Fake Cultivator Chapter 1629

Chapter 1629: An Unexpected Ally
This was the Divine Bat Emperor’s trump card, and it was certainly effective against An Lin.
An Lin was unable to just look on as these catastrophic pests invaded the Kingdom of the Nine States.
Even though he knew that the Divine Bat Emperor would create more Blood Ghost Bats if he was to let it go, he couldn’t think that far ahead now. That was something that would only take place in the future, but these Blood Ghost Bats were a catastrophic threat to the Kingdom of the Nine States in the present!
“Hahaha… Little B*tch An Lin, listen up!
“I’m going to inflict humiliation and agony tens of thousands of times more than what you have done to me!”
The Divine Bat Emperor forcefully unleashed another mystic technique to repair its severed wing before attempting to flee into the distance.
“You b*stard! Divine Bat Emperor, how could you let our efforts for the past twenty years go to waste just so that you can survive?” Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong flared up with rage at the sight of the swarm of Blood Ghost Bats flying into the distance.
The fact that the Divine Bat Emperor would use this secret weapon that they had been developing for so many years as a bait to lure An Lin away so that it could survive was something completely out of its expectations.
The Divine Bat Emperor ignored Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong. Nothing was more important than its life right now.
It flew into the sky and was just about to make its escape.
An Lin knew that time was of the essence, and if he was to delay it any longer, the Blood Ghost Bats could split up and that would be disastrous. He spread open his Wings of Wind in preparation to chase down those Blood Ghost Bats.
Right at this moment, the sky in the distance suddenly became as crimson as blood.
The blue sky had become a crimson sky, and it was as if the very heavens were shedding tears of blood, exuding a sense of boundless despair and sorrow.

An extremely terrifying aura instantly spread through the entire heaven and earth.
An Lin’s expression shifted drastically. “What a formidable aura!”
This aura was comparable even to Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong.
Could it be that another enemy had descended upon them?
An Lin’s expression became extremely grave. The Divine Bat Emperor and the Blood Ghost Bats were already quite bothersome to deal with. How was he supposed to fight if another extremely powerful enemy was to appear now?
However, something quite astonishing to him suddenly occurred.
Countless lines of blood suddenly fell from the sky, creating an all-encompassing net that instantly enshrouded an area within a radius of over two hundred and fifty kilometers, trapping all of the Blood Ghost Bats within.
Sizzle…
The sound of water evaporating into vapor erupted.
The blood net began to vaporize, creating a murky blood mist.
The bloodcurdling cries of Blood Ghost Bats erupted from within the blood mist, as if they were all in excruciating pain. These were the cries of over a hundred thousand Blood Ghost Bats, and it was extremely unsettling to listen to.
After the blood mist dissipated, no more Blood Ghost Bats remained.
An Lin was astonished.
Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong was stunned.
The Divine Bat Emperor was bewildered.
“My Blood Ghost Bats…” the Divine Bat Emperor murmured.
At this moment, An Lin had already turned around to look at the Divine Bat Emperor with a cold, sinister smile.
Tears welled up in the Divine Bat Emperor’s eyes. It had finally created an opportunity to escape but that opportunity had disappeared in the blink of an eye!
Were the gods trying to kill it?
At the center of the crimson sky, a massive hole began to appear.
A man in a crimson robe with a pair of glittering and translucent Kirin horns on his head stepped through the air. This was quite an ordinary-looking man, but his disposition was very warm and pleasant, making all those in his presence feel as if they were basking in a warm spring breeze.
An Lin and Xu Xiaolan both exclaimed upon seeing this man, “Dongfang Zhuangshi!”

Dongfang Zhuangshi also faltered slightly before a smile of elation appeared on his face. “An Lin, Xu Xiaolan, what a coincidence! To think I would encounter you guys here!”
He then turned toward Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong with a buoyant smile. “Whoops, looks like I killed your little pets. You wouldn’t mind, would you?”
The veins on the Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong’s forehead bulged as it spat through gritted teeth, “Demonic Blood Kirin… Why are you here?!”
“I’m here to look for you, of course. I sensed your divine dao fluctuations during your battle, so I came to find you…” Dongfang Zhuangshi’s eyes were burning with a scorching light. “You sure aren’t easy to find, Yu Qiong. I looked for you for over ten years, but who would have thought that you would be here in the Divine Bat Emperor’s Heavenly Beast Divine Mountain!”
“Why are you looking for me?” Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong’s expression darkened.
Boom!
A terrifying aura surged between heaven and earth, as if the very heavens had been enraged.
Dongfang Zhuangshi suddenly transformed from a warm and polite middle-aged man into a fiendcelestial standing atop mountains of corpses and oceans of blood. “Why am I looking for you… Don’t pretend like you don’t know anything! I’m here to take back what’s mine!”
An Lin was quite glad to hear this. It looked like Dongfang Zhuangshi was going to be an ally!
He had heard that Dongfang Zhuangshi was looking for something but was unable to find it even after over ten years of searching.
It turned out that Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong had whatever he was looking for all along!
Coincidentally, Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong was hiding here to conduct research. If it weren’t for the fact that An Lin and Xu Xiaolan had accidentally stumbled upon these two mythological beasts and blown up this divine mountain, Dongfang Zhuangshi was probably going to have to continue his aimless search.
Thus, Dongfang Zhuangshi had An Lin and Xu Xiaolan to thank for exposing the location of Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong.
“Take back what’s yours? I don’t recall taking anything from you,” Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong said in a cold voice.
Dongfang Zhuangshi flared up with rage. “Back when I was sealed by Pangu, you took advantage of the situation to break into the Kirin Holy Palace and robbed me of all my treasures, even my Chaotic Life Core…”
“Oh…” Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong nodded with an expression of sudden realization before an infuriating smirk appeared on its face. “I already ate that thing, so how are you going to recover it?”
Dongfang Zhuangshi was not enraged in the slightest. Instead, a smirk also emerged on his face. “No problem. The Chaotic Life Core is indigestible. It can improve your life force, but it can’t be absorbed by you. I’ll just have to kill you and gouge it out of your body with my own two hands.”
Heavenly Venerate Yu Qiong fell silent and stared intently at Dongfang Zhuangshi.
Dongfang Zhuangshi met its gaze with a steady one of his own as his aura gradually began to climb. The atmosphere had become very tense, and a battle was looming.
However, before their battle had even begun, An Lin sprang into action first and punched the Divine Bat Emperor again.
Boom!
“Ah…!”
The Divine Bat Emperor threw up blood as it crashed to the ground.
“Hehe, Little B*tch Divine Bat! Let’s see where you’re going to run to now!” An Lin chuckled coldly.
Purple divine symbols suddenly began to flash around his ankles.
An omnipresent power suddenly crashed down upon the Divine Bat Emperor, completely flattening it to the ground once again. This was the spell technique he attained from his seventh stage Earth Lotus Supreme Skill—Gravitational Stomp!
“Make sure to be a good bat in your next life.” An Lin chuckled as his power of mountains exploded forth, and his fist began to glow like a golden sun.
“Have a taste of the ultimate edition of my Mountain Quaking Fist…
“Mount Buzhou Iron Fist!”

Updates Sunday - Tuesday - Thursday![successful participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Rating: This should align pretty closely with your typical MCU movie, so PG-13 for scenes of fantasy violence. There'll be gore and some swearing but not much beyond that. If that changes, I'll warn you. MC: Shaya is analytical, but begins the story emotional and impulsive. She leans towards rationality and uses this to control her demonic impulses to the best of her abilities. She begins the story as a somewhat capable protagonist, but grows in power steadily through hard work and diligence. Fights: ...I like fight scenes. They’re going to be detailed, but I won’t drown you in description of individual hand movements or footwork. I like fights that can be solved like puzzles by the audience, where creative thinking wins the day using tools you know the protagonist has at their disposal.
