Chapter 1415: Emperor An Mang’s Relentless Struggle
A peculiar impasse ensued.
Emperor An Mang was a little hesitant.
An Lin wore a nonchalant expression as he recovered his energy and occasionally glanced at the coffins behind Emperor An Mang. These coffins seemed to have some sort of special property, and he found that even his divine sense was unable to detect what was in there.
However, he felt like Cassidy and the others were in those coffins, even though he didn’t know whether they were dead or alive.
Hopefully, they weren’t dead. Otherwise, the Blood Tribe emperors would have to pay an extremely heavy price.
An entire minute passed.
An Lin couldn’t help but chuckle softly. “What? The mighty Blood Tribe emperor doesn’t even dare to take a drop of my blood?”
“Hmph!” Emperor An Mang harrumphed coldly as he gripped the air with his hand, upon which a spatial power swept forth.
An Lin’s body remained unmoved, but the blood on his fingertip was already hovering toward Emperor An Mang.
“If I can’t even handle a drop of your blood, then how can I continue to stand proudly at the pinnacle of the Blood Tribe? Let me see what’s so special about this blood of yours!” A firm expression appeared on Emperor An Mang’s face, and he opened his mouth to swallow An Lin’s blood.
He had his own pride. As the most powerful Holy Disciple in history who had been acknowledged by the Blood Patriarch, he believed that his blood was the most precious and purest blood in this world.
All other blood would have to concede to his blood!
The Blood Tribe was extremely sensitive to blood, and they could sense the quality and essence of the blood they sampled as soon as the blood entered their stomachs.
Emperor An Mang was no exception to this.
In the instant he swallowed An Lin’s blood, he had already understood what type of blood this was.
His body then shuddered violently.
“My God… What kind of blood is this?!”
Emperor An Mang’s eyes lit up with unprecedented light, and a slight flush appeared on his pale features.
“Impossible! How could there be such pure blood in this world? It’s too perfect! I can feel… I can feel the blood in my body getting purified and elevating to greater heights!” Emperor An Mang’s hands had found their way onto his face, and his eyes fluctuated between clarity and glazed over.

An Lin heaved a faint sigh of relief. It appeared that his blood was still just as bad*ss as usual. To the Blood Tribe, his blood was basically a nuclear weapon!
“You… How could you have such perfect blood?” Emperor An Mang swallowed as he stared at An Lin with a scorching light shimmering in his eyes.
“Me? I was born with it!” An Lin splayed his hands open with a smile.
“I-impossible.” Emperor An Mang shook his head vigorously. “No living being can possess this blood. You’re not a human!”
A sly smile appeared on An Lin’s face as he extracted another drop of blood from the wound on his chest. “Do you want some more?”
Emperor An Mang’s body shuddered as he stared at the blood on An Lin’s fingertip. It was as if he were a starving wild dog that had just caught sight of a delectable piece of meat…
“M… my blood is the most regal blood in this world! How could it concede to your blood? Wh… what a joke!”
“Just tell me if you want it or not.”
“I… I do…”
A conflicted expression appeared in Emperor An Mang’s eyes, but his response was very honest.
An Lin pointed at himself. “If you establish a slave contract with me, I can consider giving you some blood from time to time when I’m in a good mood.”
“A slave contract?” Emperor An Mang’s eyes widened with flaming wrath. “You want me to become your slave?”
An Lin nodded. “That’s right.”
“Hahaha…” Emperor An Mang threw his head back and laughed like a madman. “You want me, Emperor An Mang, to become your slave? You’re insane!
“I am a mighty Blood Tribe emperor who is renowned across the entire Tai Chu Continent! Even if you torture me in the most horrendous ways imaginable, I refuse to yield! You can keep dreaming!”
Emperor An Mang roared wildly, as if he had lost his wits.
Even as he was delivering this monologue, his eyes were trained firmly on An Lin’s blood the entire time with an expression of extreme yearning.
However, his soul was still resisting with all its might.

His pride refused to let him concede!
An Lin was feeling a little sorry for Emperor An Mang at the sight of his painful expression of struggle, so he sliced into his body again…
A stream of blood flowed before converging in front of him.
“If you agree to become my slave, all of this blood is yours,” An Lin spoke with a faint smile.
Boom!
Emperor An Mang felt as if he had been struck by ten thousand bolts of lightning at once. He seemed to have lost all control over his cognitive functions and could only stare blankly at the large ball of blood hovering before An Lin.
So much blood!
His breathing accelerated as he swallowed over and over again.
What would it feel like to drink so much blood in one go?
Would he die from bliss?!
“I want it! Give it to me!” Emperor An Mang couldn’t resist it any longer, and he pounced toward An Lin, having completely lost his mind.
An Lin spread open his Wings of Wind and hurtled back into the distance along with his ball of blood. “Oi! I’m only going to give this blood to you if you become my slave!”
“Slave? Alright! I’ll become your slave!” Emperor An Mang yelled with frenzied eyes.
With a chance to continue sampling such perfect blood, so what if he became his slave? This was the blood that a man standing at the pinnacle of the Blood Tribe should drink every day!
Emperor An Mang immediately agreed before looking at An Lin with a scorching expression.
An Lin made a hand seal to release a drop of blood essence. “Hurry up and accept this.”
Emperor An Mang looked at the blood essence hovering toward him and was just about to accept it with all his heart. However, his body suddenly faltered abruptly, and his glazed over eyes regained clarity. “No… I’m the future of the Blood Tribe! I’m a Holy Disciple acknowledged by the Blood Patriarch! I can’t become someone else’s slave! I can’t betray! I won’t betray!!!”
Emperor An Mang roared as blood gushed from his mouth. He had bitten off his own tongue!
The pain finally snapped him out of it somewhat, and he was able to exercise the mantra of mind over matter.
An Lin felt like Emperor An Mang was quite admirable. There was no Blood Tribe cultivator that could resist the temptation of his blood after tasting it once.
Emperor An Mang was the first one.
Perhaps this was his pride as the most powerful Holy Disciple in history?
An Lin thought to himself for a moment before making another incision on his arm. “I’m doubling the stakes here, but you’ll only get one chance. Don’t miss this opportunity. What are you waiting for?”
Emperor An Mang felt as if he had received another violent blow, and the scent of the blood was slowly making him lose control again.
“Ah… You’re a demon!
“Avast ye, foul demon!”
Emperor An Mang roared like an insane man.
And then, to An Lin’s astonishment, Emperor An Mang turned and ran. Not only did he run, but he had also even unleashed a sacrificial mystic technique to elevate his speed to the very maximum!
That’s right! The best way to avoid the temptation of An Lin’s blood was to not see it and not smell it!
An Lin faltered slightly at the sight of Emperor An Mang hurtling into the distance. “He ran away?”
He had envisioned a battle to the death with Emperor An Mang, and he had envisioned Emperor An Mang conceding to him, but never would he have thought that Emperor An Mang would flee from the scene…
He had forced back an extremely powerful Dao Integration Stage super mighty figure with his blood. Thinking about it like that, there was quite a sense of accomplishment to be derived!
After that, An Lin looked at the three coffins that were still hovering in the air and fell silent.
Emperor An Mang was so eager to escape that he had even left his coffins behind?
Was his blood really that terrifying?
