An Lin was dumbstruck. The Golden Void Lightning’s words didn’t make any sense to him.

“I don’t belong to the human race? I belong to you guys instead?” An Lin murmured with an incredulous expression, “Who are you?”

The Golden Void Lightning made its way over to An Lin before adopting a humanoid form with a smile on its face. “Let me introduce myself. Not only am I the only bolt of essential Golden Void Lightning in this world, but I am also the lightning representative of the Heavenly Dao. In other words, I am a part of this very heaven!”

An Lin drew a sharp intake of breath.

His mind regained some clarity from the massive shock he had received upon hearing this.

At the same time, An Lin was extremely astonished. He didn’t think that he would encounter a representative of the Heavenly Dao during this tribulation transcendence! Why were things like this always happening to him?!

The Golden Void Lightning pointed at An Lin. “I can sense a familiar aura from your body, and I think we are the same type of being. In fact, I’m sure of it. Which representative of the Heavenly Dao are you?”

An Lin faltered upon hearing this. If he told this guy that he was the master of lightning, the Heavenly Lightning God, he was probably going to get bashed to death!

He hadn’t even thought of a f*cking explanation yet, and this guy was already providing him with one?

An Lin nodded. So this master of lightning was just a pitiful loner…

The Golden Void Lightning continued, “We are both representatives of the Heavenly Dao’s will, but you seem to have diverged significantly from your original, intended path and become far too attached to the humans.

“In this world, there are many things that are not worthy of salvation, including the human race. They had made far too big a mistake for them to deserve any salvation.

“The result is exactly the same whether you choose to save them or not, so why not just completely abandon them?

“I trust that you’re well aware of this fact after that experience I just showed you, right?”

The Golden Void Lightning continued as it looked at An Lin with anticipation in its eyes.

An Lin nodded. “You’re right, all humans should die!”

“Well said, my brother!” The Golden Void Lightning was elated. “In order to maintain the stability of this world, I hope you can join me in my plan to destroy the human race.”

“Plan to destroy the human race? What are the specific details?” An Lin asked.

“Er… I haven’t thought that far yet,” the Golden Void Lightning replied in a slightly awkward tone.

An Lin: “…”

“Don’t be like that, brother.” The Golden Void Lightning hurriedly explained as if it had sensed the skepticism in An Lin’s eyes, “I can sense all of the other representatives of the Heavenly Dao.

“There was one that charged straight into the core region of the human race, the Heavenly Court, not too long ago, and its presence has since completely disappeared. In other words, it has been destroyed! The human race is far more difficult to deal with than I had imagined. Hence, we need to devise a plan and take our time before we strike…”

An Lin was greatly relieved by the Golden Void Lightning’s words.

If that was its thought process, then the other Heavenly Dao representatives must be feeling quite wary too, so they shouldn’t launch another attack against the human race anytime soon…

An Lin blinked with an innocent expression.

He was the one who had destroyed the Heavenly Wind God.

It looked like this representative of the Heavenly Dao was not omniscient after all. In fact, it was kind of adorably ignorant.

“By the way, Brother Golden Void Lightning, you can detect the other representatives of the Heavenly Dao, so can you tell me how many there are?” An Lin asked.

The Golden Void Lightning shook its head. “I’m not sure. I only have a very vague sense. I don’t even know who was that brother that was killed in the Heavenly Court…”

It then turned toward An Lin. “You are the first brother I have met!”

A faint smile appeared on An Lin’s face. It’s a shame that I’m not your brother though!

The Golden Void Lightning continued, “Let’s stay in this heavens outside the heavens and plot the destruction of the human race! In the process, I’ll try and awaken you to your power!”

An Lin faltered upon hearing this. He didn’t even have any power to be awakened to!

Hold on, he seemed to have absorbed the power of the Heavenly Wind God.

An Lin suddenly came to a realization. The sense of familiarity that the Golden Void Lightning felt from him was most likely due to the power of the Heavenly Wind God within his body.

Just as he arrived at this conclusion, An Lin felt a change taking place within his body.

He was suddenly able to sense vital energy as well as his sea of vital energy.

The powers that had disappeared were quickly coming back to him.

An Lin turned toward the humanoid Golden Void Lightning with a hint of surprise on his face, thinking that it was the one returning his power to him.

However, it did not react at all. It seemed to be contemplating on how to destroy the human race as well as how to help An Lin awaken his power.

It was also at this moment that a pair of shiny, golden eyes abruptly opened in An Lin’s sea of vital energy!
