I Might Be A Fake Cultivator Chapter 1294

Chapter 1294: The Beginning of a Mass Brawl
Holy Lord Noodle and the black dog were both Return to Void Final Stage mighty figures.
In a one-on-one fight, they would definitely be unable to defeat Liu Mingxuan.
However, seeing as they were all restricted to the same cultivation base, there was a chance that they would be able to defeat Liu Mingxuan in a two-on-one fight!
They had to retaliate after being insulted.
Even noodles had dignity and pride!
“Violent Noodle Strike!”
Holy Lord Noodle’s soup boiled as countless strands of noodles imbued with some terrifying power and scorching heat tore through the air, flying toward Liu Mingxuan’s nose, ears, mouth, butthole, and other orifices.
Liu Mingxuan’s brows furrowed, and he harrumphed coldly, as if he was extremely disdainful toward this mode of attack.
A bronze ancient sword was unsheathed as his earth-shattering sword intent erupted forth. He sliced the oncoming noodles into countless pieces in the blink of an eye.
“Moon Eating Heavenly Dog!”
The black dog also pounced toward Liu Mingxuan, and it bared its sharp and bloodthirsty fangs as it opened its mouth so big that it was even bigger than a grown man. It was clear that it intended to swallow Liu Mingxuan in one bite.
“Piss off.” Liu Mingxuan’s sword swept forward with the power of a vast, tumbling river.
The black dog felt as if there were a turbulent, inescapable wave sweeping toward it, giving it no chance of evasion.
Its gaping mouth was ravaged by the raging sword intent, making it feel as if it had eaten five kilograms of ghost chili peppers in one go. At the same time, its body felt as if it was about to be torn apart by the overwhelming power behind the sword strike.
“Howl!”
The black dog howled in agony and was knocked back several hundred meters.
Holy Lord Noodle immediately retreated as it looked at Liu Mingxuan with an alarmed expression.
“We’re all at the same cultivation base, so why is he still so powerful?”
It was quite clear that Liu Mingxuan was more powerful than Holy Lord Noodle had anticipated.
Even after combining forces with the black dog, they were still no match.
“Heh, Holy Lord Noodle, you look like you’re having a little trouble there! How about we join forces?” An Lin’s voice suddenly sounded from within the Blood Soul Jade Coffin.

Join forces?
Everyone’s expression instantly shifted.
“Are you making a joke?” Holy Lord Noodle’s soup tumbled violently.
One had to realize that Holy Lord Noodle was planning to screw the Four Nine Immortal Sect over earlier, but now, the sect leader of the Four Nine Immortal Sect was offering to form an alliance against Liu Mingxuan?
Was he that generous?!
“I’m not kidding.” An Lin spoke with a smile, “We all have a common goal, which is to enter that cherry blossom forest and fight for the heavenly peaches in there.
“Hence, Liu Mingxuan is our common enemy as he’s blocking the way to the cherry blossom forest. The enemy of an enemy is a friend, so…
“We’ll join forces for now to defeat Liu Mingxuan, then end our alliance when we gain access to the cherry blossom forest. What do you think?”
An Lin’s words made Holy Lord Noodle and the black dog come to a realization. That’s right, all of them had a common enemy!
Not just them, but many of the other powers present were also beginning to get quite excited.
It wasn’t that they didn’t want to get rid of Liu Mingxuan, they just didn’t want to volunteer as the first batch of tributes. However, now that the sect leader of the Four Nine Immortal Sect was leading the charge, they were also tempted to join in on this initiative.
“You think trash like you can defeat my husband? Even if you had twice the amount of people you have now, you still wouldn’t be a match for my husband!” Zhu Shan chuckled at the sight of the stirring living beings before her.
Those two Return to Void Final Stage mighty figures had just been forced back by Liu Mingxuan in the blink of an eye. Against such a powerful adversary, it didn’t matter how many of them there were, Liu Mingxuan would be able to defeat them regardless!
There was nothing wrong with what Zhu Shan had said, but all of the living beings present were still extremely enraged. Anyone would be displeased after being looked down on like this.
Right at this moment, an elated voice sounded from nearby.
“It’s An Lin and his group!”
This was a very soft and gentle voice.
An Lin lay in his coffin and turned to find a woman in a purple robe making her way toward him, followed by four other purple-robed figures, all of whom possessed extremely powerful auras.

They were the Dark Wind Imperial Family team.
“Mr. An Lin seems to be in a spot of bother. Let’s go and have a look.” The emperor of the Dark Wind Imperial Family, Xiang Fengyi, hurriedly made his way over to them.
After getting a rough understanding of the situation, the five cultivators from the Dark Wind Imperial Family sided with An Lin.
“What an arrogant sect this Heavenly Sword Sect is! Do they really think they can trample the entire Kingdom of the Nine States beneath their feet? Let me see just how powerful your sword techniques are!”
An immortal sword appeared in Xiang Fengyi’s hand as he spoke as his overbearing sword intent surged from his body.
The other Dark Wind Imperial Family cultivators also unleashed their powerful auras.
Xu Xiaolan and the others all joined in.
As did Holy Lord Noodle and the black dog.
The auras of all of the powerful beings converged to become more and more terrifying as vital energy swirled, sending rocks and dust flying through the air. Even all of the spectating living beings sitting on the fence were starting to get nervous.
Liu Mingxuan’s expression darkened slightly. Things were getting out of hand.
Those fence-sitters were nothing to be worried about, but there were about a dozen powerful beings from the Dark Wind Imperial Family, the Four Nine Immortal Sect, and the Hall of Creation who were determined to fight him. Their combined forces were not something he could scoff at.
However, that was the extent of it.
Liu Mingxuan had never feared anyone, and this was no exception!
“Hey, it’s An Lin! What are you doing in that coffin? Have you seen my sister?” a handsome man called out to him from nearby.
The new arrival was none other than the second prince of the Green Wood Imperial Family, Su Xin.
There were also three people behind him.
“Mr. Su Xin, I’m not your sister’s caretaker, how would I know where she is?” An Lin asked with a resigned expression.
Su Qianyun was actually just nearby, but he didn’t want to disclose this information to Su Xin.
“Let me introduce to you my big brother, Su Gu,” Su Xin said as he introduced the brawny man behind him with a smile.
Su Gu was a muscular and burly man with a thick beard. He was wearing purple and golden armor. He looked extremely imposing, completely different from the exquisitely beautiful Su Qianyun and the delicately handsome Su Xin.
“Like… your actual big brother?” An Lin was a little incredulous.
Su Gu: “… Yes, we’re related by blood!”
“Speaking of which, what happened here?” Su Xin asked.
An Lin: “So on so forth, so on so forth.”
Su Gu immediately exploded with rage upon hearing An Lin’s recount of events. “Motherf*cker! I’ve always heard the Heavenly Sword Sect was an arrogant sect, but it looks like the rumors are true after all! Let me see if Sect Leader Liu Mingxuan has what it takes to be so cocky!”
“Mr. An Lin, we’ll come and help you!” Su Xin spoke with an excited expression.
Thus, the four powerful beings from the Green Wood Imperial Family also joined the party to bash Liu Mingxuan.
Even Zhu Shan’s features paled slightly upon seeing this.
They were being oppressed by close to twenty hostile powerful beings at once, and she was really feeling the pressure now.
Even Liu Mingxuan’s expression became slightly graver as he gripped his ancient sword even more tightly.
An Lin lay in the coffin as a victorious smile appeared on his face. “Sect Leader Liu Mingxuan, the power of the masses is not something you can fight against. Looks like you better step aside.
“I will only gather more and more allies, whereas you will continue to remain alone. How long do you think you’ll last?”
Liu Mingxuan had no rebuttal to An Lin’s words.
He stood silently in front of the entrance to the cherry blossom forest, and a tense standoff ensued.
“Who told you Liu Mingxuan will remain alone?”
Five powerful living beings approached the scene from nearby.
At their forefront was a woman in a black dress. She had a mysterious smile on her face as she slithered toward them with her snake tail.
“Liu Mingxuan, I’ll take care of these people with you.”
The woman pointed at the Blood Soul Jade Coffin. “After the battle, you can do whatever you like to anyone else here, but leave An Lin to me. What do you think?”

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
