Was this humanoid water creature extending a greeting toward them?

The humanoid water creature’s body rippled slightly, and it cocked its head to the side as it fell into silence, seemingly a little disgruntled at having its train of thought interrupted.

An Lin and Lan Xiaoni both heaved long sighs of relief.

An Lin stared at the humanoid water creature with a tense expression, constantly on his guard in case it said something that could wipe them both out.

An Lin’s heart rate accelerated through the roof, and he had to constantly be on high alert to prevent the humanoid water creature from saying something that would annihilate them both.

This was the third time he had stipulated that he wanted to return to his original world. Surely it had gotten the gist of things by this point!

He was only hoping that this mysterious being was an amiable mighty figure that could casually punch a hole into space that would lead them back to their original world!

An Lin stared at the humanoid water creature with a beseeching expression.

The humanoid water creature stood rooted to the spot again after being interrupted.

After taking a short moment to recover, it spoke again, “I’m going to now…”

“Yes! You’re going to now get us out of here, right?” An Lin interjected with an excited expression.

The humanoid water creature: “…”

Lan Xiaoni: “…”

Wasn’t Big Boss An Lin going a bit too far here?

An Lin’s body was suddenly flattened to the ground!

He felt an extremely terrifying sealing force sweeping toward him, rendering him completely immobilized.

“Big Boss An Lin!” Lan Xiaoni’s expression shifted drastically as she hurriedly stationed herself in front of An Lin and directly faced the humanoid water creature.

The humanoid water creature extended its two index fingers and tapped them together before bringing them apart again.

Lan Xiaoni and An Lin were ecstatic upon hearing this.

Even though this entire process was quite baffling, the mysterious being had finally decided to send them back and this was definitely a cause for celebration!

The humanoid water creature pointed at a certain spot in the ocean. A blue passageway between two worlds suddenly appeared.

It spoke again.

“Go forth, my chosen one! Rule over the West Sea and wipe the human race from the face of the Tai Chu Continent!”
