Chapter 1036: The Fallen God Seabed Tomb

The surging waves in the ocean instantly became motionless.

The dark clouds and flashing lightning in the sky also became completely stationary.

With the light emanating from the pillar of light, An Lin was just able to make out a tightly-shut blue gate standing on the seabed. The entire surface of the gate was extremely smooth, and it seemed to have been completely unaffected by the passage of time.

“Hmm, this should be the entrance.” An Lin nodded before walking out of the pillar of light and arriving at the gate of the tomb.

Lan Xiaoni carefully trailed along behind him, not daring to utter even a single word. She was just praying that An Lin would completely ignore her!

Unfortunately, An Lin’s footsteps faltered just as she was thinking this, and he turned around to look at her.

Lan Xiaoni trembled as she took an involuntary step backward. “What… what’s wrong?”

“You go inside first,” An Lin commanded.

Lan Xiaoni’s eyes widened with rage, but upon seeing An Lin’s cold eyes, she felt as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over her head…

“How could you do this to me…” The mermaid princess was extremely aggrieved as tears welled up in her eyes.

To her surprise, the door refused to budge, as if it were an indestructible wall.

Xiao Lan’s brows furrowed slightly, and she was just about to try something else when the fish head and turtle head beside the gate suddenly began to move. Both of them turned to Lan Xiaoni before opening their mouths, upon which a terrifying spatial force erupted.

“Ah…!”

Lan Xiaoni let loose a sharp screech before disappearing on the spot.

An Lin was dumbstruck.

Had she just entered the tomb?

If they could enter the tomb via spatial teleportation, what the hell was the point of this gate?!

He was just hesitating about whether he should stand in front of the gate like Lan Xiaoni did when the fish head and turtle head seemed to have detected his presence, and they turned to him before opening their mouths.

“Holy f*ck!”

An Lin let loose a cry of surprise before a rush of dizziness swept toward him!

The space around him transitioned drastically.

When his vision regained clarity, he found himself in a strange world.

The sky above was a murky grey while light enshrouded the entire earth.

Countless antiquated swords had been stabbed into the ground, and they stretched as far as the eyes could see.

The antiquated swords below seemed to have been provoked by Lan Xiaoni’s movement, and they slashed through the air toward her with terrifying sword intent.

Lan Xiaoni’s agile movement techniques allowed her to avoid most of the flying swords, and she unleashed powerful water spell techniques to combat those that she couldn’t evade.

“I’m almost there! These flying swords are fearsomely powerful, but I can still keep them at bay.”

“Just a few hundred more meters and that necklace is mine!” Lan Xiaoni turned with a scorching light in her eyes toward a huge antiquated sword, upon the hilt of which hung a blue necklace.

Right at this moment, an extremely terrifying power swept forth from behind her.

“Ah…!” Lan Xiaoni let loose a shriek before hurriedly taking evasive measures.

At this moment, that figure had already passed Lan Xiaoni in the blink of an eye!

Countless flying swords flew toward the male figure, and he turned to shoot a glance at them before swatting them away with a single palm that was powerful enough to make the space around him twist and warp.

All of the flying swords exploded.

“N… nothing!” Lan Xiaoni shook her head with a fearful expression. Even her chest shook along with her head as she repressed her aggravation and rage.

How could this man just snatch something away from her and not feel the slightest hint of guilt? If Lan Xiaoni was capable of doing so, she would dice him into a million pieces!

“Don’t just glare at people for no reason! Otherwise, I would be misled into thinking I did something wrong,” An Lin said in a meaningful and heartfelt voice.

Lan Xiaoni was in shock. Don’t you f*cking know what you did?

After the necklace was taken, the antiquated swords around them settled down again.

An Lin looked around with a vacant expression and couldn’t really decide on where to go next.

He then turned toward Lan Xiaoni as a sinister smile appeared on his face again.
