I Might Be A Fake Cultivator Chapter 967

Chapter 967: The Dark Wing Tribe’s Nightmare
The passageway between the two worlds was sliced open.
The huge resulting rift was like a heavenly gate, from which a boundless light erupted.
This sense of familiarity and extremely rich vital energy had An Lin in shock.
“This is… the Heavenly Court?!” he let loose an involuntary cry of surprise.
However, after thinking about it, it wasn’t really a situation to be surprised about.
The only passageway between Earth and the Tai Chu Continent was located in the Heavenly Court. If Cyril wanted to return to the Tai Chu Continent, then he could only find that passageway before forcing it open!
At the same time, on a certain floating continent…
The divine tool, Realm Creation Evil Vanquishing Sword, had completely sealed away the floating continent’s protection formation.
Black Spirit Snake was on a massive killing spree as a black divine light engulfed the entire continent. Countless Dark Wing Tribe cultivators were reduced to dust amid anguished wails.
The Dark Wing Emperor was absolutely fuming and was engaged in an earth-shattering battle with Black Spirit Snake.
“You’ve gone too far, Black Spirit Snake! You killed so many of my Dark Wing Tribe, I’m going to make you pay in blood!” The Dark Wing Emperor’s voice exploded like claps of thunder as he tried to lure Black Spirit Snake away with his techniques, but Black Spirit Snake simply refused to go and was adamant to battle on this floating continent.
A disdainful smile appeared on Black Spirit Snake’s face. “You should’ve foreseen a day like today when you invaded Earth three years ago through a flaw in the world! Her Majesty Nuwa’s prestige cannot be encroached upon, and it is now time for you to pay the price for doing so!”
When Earth leveled up, she was finally able to use the core of the formation as well as the spatial coordinates left behind by the Dark Wing Tribe to cross through boundless chaos and find the exact location of the Dark Wing Tribe.
What happened next was an earth-shattering battle as a destructive divine light almost laid waste to the entire continent.
Black Spirit Snake’s intentions were quite clear. The Dark Wing Emperor was indeed very powerful, and she couldn’t kill him on her own. But that didn’t matter! All she was here to do was to pick a fight and lay waste to this continent!

All of the Dark Wing Tribe Monarchs had hidden away to act as spectators.
The rest of the Dark Wing Tribe cultivators were all trembling uncontrollably and scurrying around in fear. There was not a single one who dared to go help their Dark Wing Emperor.
The cliched storyline in which a bunch of small fry sacrificed their lives by charging into a battle with the BOSS to exemplify its strength before their leader came out to save them did not exist here.
All of the Dark Wing Tribe warriors immediately hid away and unleashed defensive spell formations and spell techniques in order to minimize casualties.
“Do you think our leader is going to be able to defeat Black Spirit Snake?”
“It doesn’t matter! Winning or losing is all bad news to us either way! If we win, Her Majesty Nuwa would storm this place with her flaming wrath and reduce this place to dust! But if we lose, we’re going to get trampled over anyway! Our lives are entirely in the hands of Black Spirit Snake!”
“Astute analysis as usual, Starry Night Monarch! What should we do then?”
“I feel like we should stage a tactical retreat! This is the best way to ensure the survival of our people!”
“But… our leader is still fighting?”
“Are you retarded? The reason why our leader is fighting with his life on the line is so that he can buy some time for us to escape!”
“Ah! The Starry Night Monarch’s wisdom is unmatched! We’ll listen to everything you say!”
All of the Dark Wing Tribe powerful beings instantly fled in retreat.
“Oh? All of your Return to Void Stage Monarchs are running away?” Black Spirit Snake looked at all the Monarchs escaping into spatial rifts with a taunting expression.
The Dark Wing Emperor’s chest constricted. What the f*ck were all these idiots running away for? This was an enemy invasion, and he hadn’t lost yet!
He didn’t expect them to fight Black Spirit Snake with him, but couldn’t they at least stick around to cheer him on?
He was cursing all of the Monarchs in his heart, but a mysterious and profound smile appeared on his face. “Heh, you don’t understand. They’re preparing a surprise for you…”
That’s right, you don’t understand the sorrow of being the Dark Wing Emperor…

Black Spirit Snake was not scared in the slightest.
If she really were fearful of the Dark Wing Tribe, she wouldn’t have come here alone.
One devastating spell technique after another was unleashed by her, and the entire floating continent tremored violently, as if the sky were falling.
Black Spirit Snake’s expression suddenly shifted drastically. “Crap! White Spirit Snake is in danger!”
She extended a hand, upon which the Realm Creation Evil Vanquishing Sword reappeared in her hand, and she immediately tore open a spatial rift to depart from this black floating continent.
The Dark Wing Emperor was dumbstruck for several seconds by this sudden development.
He then clasped his hands behind his back and raised his head in a prideful gesture. “Hmph! The mere Dao Integration Stage Black Spirit Snake is only a subordinate of Nuwa! She is no match for my power and had no choice but to escape!”
All of the Dark Wing Tribe cultivators who were hiding away on the black floating continent let loose whoops of celebration upon hearing this.
“The Dark Wing Emperor is invincible!”
“The Dark Wing Emperor is the beacon of light that shines upon our race!”
“The Dark Wing Emperor is a peerless being who presides over this entire world!”
All of the fleeing Monarchs also returned from spatial rifts before joining in on the festivities.
A faint smile appeared on the Dark Wing Emperor’s face. “Even though I have beaten Black Spirit Snake into submission, we should still take Nuwa’s feelings into account and erase the coordinates we left on Earth!”
“But Dark Wing Emperor, we…”
A Monarch was in the process of offering a retort when the Dark Wing Emperor waved a hand to cut them off.
“Just do as I say! The Evil-Slaying Sword is no longer on Earth, so what’s the point of leaving our mark there?”
The Monarch hung their head in reply. “The Dark Wing Emperor is wise!”
All of the other Monarchs chimed in too, “The Dark Wing Emperor is wise!”
The Dark Wing Emperor harrumphed coldly as a profound expression appeared on his face.
If they didn’t erase the mark, what if Black Spirit Snake finished taking care of business on her end before coming back here for another fight?
The Dark Wing Tribe could not handle another catastrophe like this.
He couldn’t fight, but he could at least run!
He would erase their mark from Earth before escaping deep into the Tai Chu Continent where Black Spirit Snake wouldn’t be able to find them!
With this in mind, a confident smile appeared on the Dark Wing Emperor’s face.
Within the Mongolia Nation on Earth…
When Cyril opened a heavenly gate with his sword, a radiant light lit up the entire nation.
Cattle and sheep ran around in a frenzy while many people ran out from their houses and tents before staring at the white light in the distance with shock etched onto their faces. No one knew what was going on.
Cyril was just about to step into the heavenly gate.
At this moment, a spatial rift appeared.
A woman with long, straight hair and the lower body of a snake appeared between heaven and earth while holding a divine tool in her hand.
“Cyril!” She immediately identified the man upon her arrival, and a hint of incredulity appeared on her face.
“Oh? You’re Nuwa’s servant, right?” The red-robed man turned to the woman with a hint of a smile on his face.
Servant?! The veins popped on her forehead.
This woman was none other than Black Spirit Snake.
She turned to discover that White Spirit Snake was completely unscathed, and she heaved a sigh of relief.
Black Spirit Snake then turned her eyes toward Cyril with a grave expression as she surreptitiously activated the power of her divine tool. “You came out?”
“I’ve done the things I need to do, so I came out,” Cyril replied with a faint smile.
“You look like you’re in high spirits?” Black Spirit Snake asked again.
“Are you trying to trick some information from me? I don’t mind telling you that everything went quite smoothly for me.”
Cyril didn’t seem to want to waste any more time, and he waved a hand at Black Spirit Snake and everyone else.
“The heavenly gate is about to close. Goodbye.”
His body disappeared into the heavenly gate as he spoke.
Boom!
Once the heavenly gate closed, heaven and earth fell into darkness again.
An Lin looked up at the graceful, departing figure with yearning in his heart.
He came and went as he pleased, and no one was able to stop him. This was a truly powerful being!

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]
