Chapter 866: Forcing the Enemy Back
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
The Divine Bat Emperor was extremely indignant. It was so very close to its prey, only to have this unreasonable, yet ridiculously powerful man jump in and take everything. How was this fair?
At this moment, a hydra immortal beast with a hundred snakes flew toward them from the distance atop a cloud of poison mist.
At the same time, a flaming immortal spirit shining as bright as the sun descended from another direction with crimson flames raging around its body.
The Hydra’s hundred heads said in unison, “Who dares to oppose the Divine Bat Emperor? Lay down your life!”
“Burn burn burn! Incinerate all those who stand against the Divine Bat Emperor! Divine Bat Emperor, I’m here to help!” The Crimson Sun Immortal Spirit also swept toward them with a fierce aura.
“Go f*ck yourselves!” the Divine Bat Emperor roared with rage.
Extremely terrifying soundwaves erupted forth before sweeping toward the Hydra and the Crimson Sun Immortal Spirit.
Boom!
The poison mist dissipated, and the flames were snuffed out.
The two Return to Void Stage mighty figures stopped cold in their tracks as blood trickled from their mouths. They had sustained internal injuries from the Divine Bat Emperor’s roar…
The Divine Bat Emperor was already at the height of its rage, so how was it supposed to remain calm at the sight of the raucous entrance stages by these two useless pieces of trash that couldn’t trap the Demonic Blood Kirin, even after using the Infernal Realm Seal?
The Wild Saber Immortal sneered internally at his two colleagues. It was of vital importance to try and blend into the scenery after doing something wrong. Jumping out at a moment like this would be the equivalent of jumping into an early grave!
They should all take a leaf out of its book! Ever since the Divine Bat Emperor had arrived, it had stood off to the sidelines and tried its very best to become one with the empty space around it. Even the Celestial Thearch couldn’t be bothered to look at it! This was the true path to survival!
The Crimson Sun Immortal Spirit and the Hydra focused their gazes before shuddering in fear.
Holy Mother of God! Isn’t that the Celestial Thearch from the Heavenly Court?

And to think they were just yelling about killing the Celestial Thearch? Were they f*cking sick of living?!
The Celestial Thearch was far too renowned as a legendary character throughout the entire continent. Even with the Divine Bat Emperor here with them, the two Return to Void Stage immortal beasts were still trembling uncontrollably from fear.
They had come here with all guns blazing, but they were now completely silent.
The Divine Bat Emperor aimed a vicious glare at the Celestial Thearch. “Celestial Thearch, I will remember this day as the day you impeded me from capturing the Demonic Blood Kirin and obtaining the Kirin Blood Jade!”
The Celestial Thearch faltered slightly upon hearing this and blinked in confusion before turning to Dongfang Zhuangshi. “You’re the Demonic Blood Kirin?”
Dongfang Zhuangshi nodded with a speechless expression.
The Divine Bat Emperor: “…”
The Celestial Thearch’s eyes lit up with excitement. “Divine Bat Emperor, I’m nearsighted, so I couldn’t identify the Demonic Blood Kirin, but you’ll have to step over my dead body if you want to take him away!”
An Lin: “…”
“Pfff…” The Divine Bat Emperor threw up another mouthful of blood.
What the f*ck?! The Celestial Thearch didn’t even know that that man was the Demonic Blood Kirin?
Nearsighted, my a*s! Did he have no shame?!
The Divine Bat Emperor’s body trembled from rage.
It was so angry! But it couldn’t do anything. After all, the Celestial Thearch was the most powerful being even among all the Dao Integration Stage super mighty figures. Even if everyone here were to combine forces, they would still be no match for him.
“This is not the end! I’ll make you all rue the day you crossed me, the Divine Bat Emperor!” The Divine Bat Emperor scanned his eyes across everyone present before flying away.
The Divine Bat Emperor could only leave behind some threatening words to recover some of its dignity as a mythological beast.
The three immortal beasts at the Return to Void Pinnacle Stage immediately followed along behind the Divine Bat Emperor in fear of being targeted by the Celestial Thearch.
Thus, the overbearing Divine Bat Emperor and its entourage were forced to scurry away with their tails between their legs due to the arrival of the Celestial Thearch.
An Lin and the others were extremely excited to see the Divine Bat Emperor’s departure, and they all immediately flew toward the Celestial Thearch.

“Thank you for saving us, Celestial Thearch! You were so cool just then!” An Lin praised.
The Celestial Thearch glared at An Lin as he heaved an exhausted sigh. “You’re such a troublesome child…
“I don’t even know what to say to you anymore. You managed to incur the wrath of a Blood Tribe mighty figure at the Return to Void Pinnacle Stage during your end-of-term examinations and Emperor Tian Huang had to go and save you.
“This time, you’ve gone a step further and managed to piss off a Dao Integration Stage super mighty figure! If I didn’t arrive in time, you would all be dead!”
The Celestial Thearch couldn’t help but massage his brows as he continued, “I don’t even want to assign any more missions to you. What if you incur the wrath of a God of Creation like Nuwa next time? Who is going to save you then?”
Ao Niu was shocked. “I didn’t think Senior was this awesome!”
“Only at stirring up trouble though,” the groundhog corrected.
“You don’t know sh*t! Stirring up trouble is a skill too!” Xiao Ze immediately stood up for his master.
An Lin offered an apologetic smile. “Sigh, I don’t want all this to happen either! But this is all fate!”
The Celestial Thearch stared speechlessly at the man standing before him. Why did these words sound so familiar?
He then turned to another man.
This man was quite peculiar in his appearance. He had a pair of kirin horns, crimson eyes, and appeared to be an elegant and refined middle-aged man.
“Who would have thought that the Demonic Blood Kirin would still be alive and well!” The Celestial Thearch clicked his tongue in wonder as he sized up the middle-aged man before him with relish.
A faint smile appeared on Dongfang Zhuangshi’s face. “Long time no see, Celestial Thearch. I’m no longer the Demonic Blood Kirin I once was. I’m just an ordinary human.”
The Celestial Thearch’s face convulsed slightly. “Can you put away those dazzling kirin horns before you say that?”
Dongfang Zhuangshi caressed his horns before shaking his head with a solemn expression. “I can’t do that. She told me she really liked the look of my horns, so only now am I in my complete form. She also gave me a human name called Dongfang Zhuangshi!”
“Pffft…” The Celestial Thearch almost burst into laughter before catching himself. “Cough cough cough… The Holy Glacial Lands is so cold, I think I’ve caught the flu.”
“But that’s quite a good name though,” the Celestial Thearch praised with a genuine expression.
“Thank you.” Dongfang Zhuangshi’s expression softened a little upon seeing the Celestial Thearch’s acknowledgment of his new name.
An Lin was shocked once again. The Celestial Thearch’s resourcefulness was almost as bad*ss as his combat prowess!
“By the way… I heard you had been sealed away by Pangu. How did you escape?” the Celestial Thearch asked.
Dongfang Zhuangshi: “That’s a long story…”
The two of them began conversing with one another.
An Lin and Xu Xiaolan looked on in amazement as the two of them chatted like old friends. So these two knew each other? Fate sure worked in some miraculous ways sometimes!
Everyone flew back toward the Kingdom of the Nine States as they chatted among themselves.
The Celestial Thearch was extremely disgruntled upon learning from Dongfang Zhuangshi about how An Lin had swallowed the Kirin Blood Jade. He immediately turned to An Lin with an expression that was green with envy!
“Celestial Thearch, I have something to say, but I’m not sure if I should say it.” An Lin looked at the Celestial Thearch with an obedient expression.
The Celestial Thearch nodded gracefully while putting on a benevolent smile of a senior. “You can say anything you want to me, An Lin. There’s no need for any inhibitions.”
“Alright.” An Lin nodded with anticipation in his eyes. “We’ve already completed the mission assigned to us by the Heavenly Court. So when are we going to receive the five million spirit stones for gathering information and the minimum of ten million spirit stones from entering the Vast Land of Blood?”
The Celestial Thearch’s flesh crawled upon hearing this.
You’ve taken all the f*cking benefits and now you’re asking for money?
He forced a smile onto his face. “No problem, you’ll get your reward when we get back to the Heavenly Court!”
He had no choice but to fulfill his promise, even if it meant doing so with tears in his eyes!
