Chapter 862: Consciousness That Transcends the Limits
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
The easternmost region of the Opposite Shore Realm was a world of snow and ice.
If one was to continue further east, they would enter the realm of the snow maidens, the Holy Glacial Lands.
The Holy Glacial Lands was a region covered entirely in snow and ice. However, it was even colder than usual there now, as if something was brewing there, or as if something was being eroded.
That place was too cold for even the snow maidens to inhabit.
The snow maidens’ Holy Flame and the fragment of the realm core operations had failed in succession.
They were at the end of the road, and they finally initiated a battle against the Opposite Shore Realm. That earth-shattering battle had only just ended not long ago when another terrifying battle erupted.
Boom boom boom…
Heaven and earth tremored violently.
Crimson light flashed through the air like dragons while blasting a white figure into the air.
Boom!
The white figure crashed into a blue, rippling barrier, which was fortified by a series of crimson chains, upon which divine patterns were inscribed on. The barrier did not move in the slightest despite the fearsome collision, and it continued to converge inward.
“Hahaha… Give up, Demonic Blood Kirin! This Infernal Realm Seal is something that cannot be broken by anyone below the Dao Integration Stage. You don’t have what it takes to break through this seal!” The white figure was a white ape by the name of the Wild Saber Immortal, and it was holding dual sabers.
It was being completely overwhelmed by Dongfang Zhuangshi, but it was still chortling with glee.
The Infernal Realm Seal was still converging toward the center, and the other two immortal beasts were about to get here soon, as was the Divine Bat Emperor.
Time was very much of the essence here. It was as if a sword were hanging over everyone’s head. An Lin and the others really didn’t have much time left…
Dongfang Zhuangshi’s powerful hands transformed into kirin claws, which were able to tear through space with just the lightest swipe. Behind him was a sea of surging blood, and he made his way toward the Wild Saber Immortal as if he were a godfiend who had just emerged from hell.
“I can’t break this seal? Wouldn’t this seal naturally be broken if I slay you, one of the three creatures maintaining this seal?” Dongfang Zhuangshi said with a cold expression.
The Wild Saber Immortal was not enraged upon hearing this. Instead, it chortled even more loudly. “As expected of a mighty mythological beast! Come on then! Kill me if you can!”

It swiped its sabers quickly through the air, and each and every saber strike it unleashed possessed the power to shatter mountains and part oceans.
Dongfang Zhuangshi’s claws were like indestructible divine weapons as he crushed the Wild Saber Immortal’s saber projections with his bare hands.
Bam!
His body pierced through space and instantly re-appeared before the Wild Saber Immortal before launching an almighty palm!
So fast!
The Wild Saber Immortal used its twin sabers as a shield, following which another earth-shattering collision ensued.
It was sent flying through the air again before crashing heavily into the Infernal Realm Seal, upon which it threw up a mouthful of blood.
In the distance, An Lin stood atop Xiao Ze’s head.
“Can you break this formation?” Xu Xiaolan turned to An Lin.
She knew that An Lin had an extremely powerful eye technique that could identify weak points in spell formations.
An Lin was using the Divine Inspection Technique, but this spell formation was simply too massive. This was a spell formation that spanned a radius of tens of thousands of kilometers, and it was well beyond the field of vision of his Divine Inspection Technique.
To put it in simpler terms, his eyesight had restricted the ability of his spell technique!
“No. I can only see a section of it, but not the whole thing, so it’s very hard to find a weak point.” An Lin was developing a headache.
“Master, let’s combine our strength and kill that ape!” Xiao Ze’s battle intent was surging.
An Lin pursed his lips. “Think about how long it took for us to kill the Dark Sorcery Ghost. And that was with the assistance of Meng Zhi, and she’s also at the Return to Void Pinnacle Stage…
“No mighty figure at the Return to Void Pinnacle Stage will die easily. The other immortal beasts are coming, and the Divine Bat Emperor is not far behind. We can’t afford to waste more time!”
An Lin’s expression was filled with anxiety.
What to do? What could he do?
“An Lin, isn’t your consciousness really powerful? Can you combine that with your eye technique?” Xu Xiaolan was grasping at straws now.
An Lin heaved a forlorn sigh. “I can do that, but that would only expand the range of the Divine Inspection Technique to a few hundred kilometers, and it’s extremely taxing to use…”
“Wait!”
A thought suddenly occurred to An Lin, and his storage ring flashed as an immortal pill appeared in his hand.
Xu Xiaolan immediately understood An Lin’s intentions. A worrisome expression appeared on her face as she asked, “Will that work?”

“I have no choice! This is the only possible way!” A firm expression appeared on An Lin’s face.
The pill in his hand was none other than the sixth-grade immortal pill that he had obtained from the Pill Tower, the Heavenly Soul Pill!
The Heavenly Soul Pill could elevate the power of one’s consciousness to the limit, or even beyond the limit for a short period of time.
An Lin swallowed the Heavenly Soul Pill without hesitation!
The power of the pill was instantly activated within his body.
Boom!
An Lin suddenly felt as if the entire world were different. Every single minute detail and every microscopic organism was revealed to him in extreme clarity.
However, he had no time to marvel at this world. He had to expand the detection area of his divine sense to the very maximum!
His divine sense instantly enveloped a distance of five hundred kilometers, and it was still extending.
Seven hundred and fifty kilometers, one thousand kilometers…
An Lin’s head felt as if it were about to split open, and his consciousness had swelled up like a balloon that was about to burst. Indescribable pain assaulted his entire body, causing him to tremble uncontrollably.
“Ah…!” He couldn’t repress the urge to roar with pain.
This wasn’t enough!
He had to keep expanding the range!
A warm, enticing body suddenly embraced him.
Xu Xiaolan enveloped An Lin in a tight hug. “Persevere, An Lin! You can do it!”
She didn’t persuade An Lin to give up. All she did was give An Lin a tight hug.
Xu Xiaolan only wanted An Lin to understand that there were still people standing by his side.
An Lin gritted his teeth as his eyes became increasingly more bloodshot. The severe pain crippling his body made him tremble uncontrollably.
One thousand five hundred kilometers… two thousand kilometers…
The Heavenly Soul Pill could completely activate the power of the consumer’s consciousness, but as for how much power it could activate and how far it could take the consumer over their limits, this was up to the person.
An Lin had already expanded his range to five times its original limit. This was absolutely unprecedented!
An Lin was risking it all with his life on the line!
Two thousand five hundred kilometers!
At that moment, his eyes turned snowy white, and he activated his Divine Inspection Technique!
The other two immortal beasts were still closing in and as was the entire Infernal Realm Seal. An Lin was taking a gamble that they were within a distance of two thousand five hundred kilometers from here!
Boom!
An extremely complex and mystical formation took shape in his divine sense.
“There are thirty-eight weak points, which can be targeted. The closest one is located sixteen kilometers from here!” An Lin pointed to a certain spot in the air.
Boom!
An Lin did not need to say anything else before a bolt of black lightning burst forth from Xiao Ze’s dragon horn, streaking directly toward the location An Lin was pointing to while leaving a trail of annihilation in its wake!
An Lin immediately used his Lightning Amplification Technique to elevate the power of Xiao Ze’s lightning to Return to Void Final Stage before using the Lightning Manipulation Technique to make minor adjustments on its angle.
This was a distance of sixteen kilometers. Just a slight discrepancy in the angle could result in a huge discrepancy upon where the lightning would strike in the end!
Black lightning exploded in a certain spot in the air as terrifying bursts of electricity swept through heaven and earth.
Crack…
The Infernal Realm Seal began to tremor violently; even the crimson chains began to dim.
“How could this be?!” The Wild Saber Immortal’s expression shifted drastically. “How could anyone be capable of breaking this formation?!”
It couldn’t help but turn toward the man standing atop the dragon’s head, and an absurd thought entered its mind.
In the next instant, an earth-shattering sea of blood crashed toward the compromised Infernal Realm Seal, upon which a series of cracks began to appear. In the end, the chains snapped, and the seal shattered like a pane of glass.
“Go!!!” Dongfang Zhuangshi roared.
Darkness flashed across An Lin’s eyes, and he was just about to faint.
Xu Xiaolan immediately hugged him to herself as she laid one hand on his back and one hand behind his knees before picking him up in a textbook princess carry before leaping onto Xiao Ze’s back. “Go!”
Xiao Ze let loose an elated roar, and his massive body instantly broke through the sound barrier before piercing through the shattered seal at an alarming speed!
Dongfang Zhuangshi retreated as he battled the Wild Saber Immortal, and he too managed to escape from the Infernal Realm Seal.
“Hahaha… What a pleasant surprise, right? You didn’t know that we had another secret weapon, did you?
“Farewell, stupid ape!”
Dongfang Zhuangshi chortled with glee as he fled into the distance.
“You’re not going anywhere!” The Wild Saber Immortal chased after him in an enraged frenzy.
