Chapter 732: The Mountain Exploded
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
Black Spirit Snake was extremely frustrated, to the point that she was on the verge of vomiting blood.
Never would she have thought that the defenses of her mansion would really be broken. Not only that, but her mansion had been reduced to rubble and even her clothes were in tatters. How the f*ck was she supposed to take this sitting down?
Those two nutjobs had to die!
Even though she was doing something that required her undivided attention, she still succumbed to her rage and threw everything aside to unleash an attack against those two nutjobs. However, dire consequences were to follow as her moment of distraction could prove decisive in this battle.
Bai Ling had managed to take advantage of her lapse in concentration to turn the tables.
Black Spirit Snake was so frustrated! Where the f*ck had those two nutjobs popped up from?
That little fairy had also mentioned Giant An Lin. Had An Lin sent them here?
“An Lin… I’ll remember this!”
Black Spirit Snake’s eyes were like a pair of eternal glaciers as she spat through gritted teeth.
Within the Phoenix Research Institute.
An Lin had mostly recovered from his injuries, so he loaned his coffin for Dong Guo to use again.
With the enhancement of an immortal pill, an immortal tool, and his body of the War God, An Lin’s recovery speed was utterly insane.
“An Lin, I can control most of this research institute now. There are three Return to Void Stage mighty figures waiting for you outside, so be careful when you go,” Bai Ling cautioned.
An Lin sat down on the ground. “That’s ok. We can get out of here together after you’re done and kill those a*sholes!”
Bai Ling chuckled lightly. “You sure aren’t being a stranger. How are you so sure that I’ll help you fight?”
“Of course you would! We’re comrades-in-arms who just went through life and death together!” An Lin replied with a justified expression.

“Hehe, alright then.” Bai Ling didn’t disagree with his statement. “Have you repaired that Gundam that you took from Black Spirit Snake?”
“No. I don’t have any spirit stones left in my storage ring.” An Lin sighed upon hearing Bai Ling’s question. There were no spirit stones left in his storage ring, so poor Gundam Three wouldn’t be able to self-regenerate.
“Weren’t you pretty rich?” Bai Ling turned to An Lin with shock on her face.
An Lin heaved another sigh. “I’ve converted all of my capital into assets.”
He then turned to Dong Guo as a sinister smile appeared on his face.
“What… what are you doing?” Dong Guo stuttered in panic.
An Lin made his way over to the coffin and stared at Dong Guo directly in the eye. “I’m borrowing some money!”
Dong Guo: “…”
Dong Guo had no choice but to hand over his spirit stones as tears streaked down his face.
He was so nervous. Was An Lin going to return this money? An Lin was so rich, so he should return it, right?
Before they knew it, two hours had passed.
Once Dong Guo was fully recovered, the three of them silently awaited Bai Ling’s victory.
Outside the green gate, the three Return to Void Stage mighty figures were also displaying astonishing patience as they continued to wait outside.
On the plateaus to the west of the mystic realm, Su Wenjun accompanied Liu Qianhuan and Su Qianyun as they flew toward the gargantuan mountain.
To the north of the mystic realm, General Long Kui wielded a golden spear, and she transformed into a golden streak of light in pursuit of Daoist Yu Lang of the Heavenly Demon Sect.
“Ms. Long Kui, I’ve already handed the immortal grass over to you, so why are you still chasing me?!” Daoist Yu Lang was in an extremely disheveled state as he fled from General Long Kui.
“Hmph! The Heavenly Demon Sect are renowned pests of the Purple Star State! I’m going to slay you and rid the Purple Star State of the cancer that is the Heavenly Demon Sect once and for all!” Long Kui announced in a clear, crisp voice as a series of golden dragons materialized from her golden spear, which then hurtled toward Daoist Yu Lang.

There was no getting through to her, so Daoist Yu Lang could only unleash his movement techniques frantically to evade her attacks.
He couldn’t defeat Long Kui in a fight, but he was quite confident in his fleeing abilities.
What was most important to an evil cultivator?
It wasn’t ferocity, nor was it evil spell techniques. Both of those were a distant second to fleeing ability!
After all, evil cultivators who couldn’t run were going to be screwed sooner or later, so this was a vital prerequisite for all evil cultivators.
Daoist Yu Lang was a professional evil cultivator who had thrived for over ten thousand years. His fleeing abilities were strong even among the best Return to Void Stage mighty figures! Otherwise, he would’ve perished a long time ago!
Hmm? It looked like there was a gargantuan mountain in the distance! Great! This was the perfect hiding spot! He could activate a mystical technique to open up some distance between himself and Long Kui before concealing his aura and hiding away in the mountain. Even Long Kui wouldn’t be able to find him then!
Daoist Yu Lang immediately pressed the pedal to the metal as he fled toward the mountain at a phenomenal speed.
At the summit of the mountain.
Black Spirit Snake suddenly detected a strange energy fluctuation.
Her brows perked up slightly as she used what remained of her power to detect the situation within the mountain.
Her expression then suddenly shifted drastically, and she immediately sent a message to Bai Ling.
Within the Phoenix Research Institute, a peculiar expression appeared on Bai Ling’s face upon receiving the message.
“What is it?” An Lin immediately inquired upon seeing her peculiar expression.
“Black Spirit Snake is telling me that she wants a truce and for me to hand over my control as she has some urgent matters to attend to,” Bai Ling replied.
An Lin’s lips twitched upon hearing this. “This isn’t some trick to regain control over this world, is it?”
Bai Ling shook her head. “She said she would surrender! But I have to relinquish control to her for a short while!”
“Do you believe her?” An Lin asked.
This was only an oral agreement, and if Black Spirit Snake went back on her word, there was no way for Bai Ling to retaliate.
Bai Ling hesitated momentarily when another message came through—Urgent, urgent, urgent! Please trust me!
“Sigh…” Bai Ling heaved a light sigh and mumbled, “I’ll believe her.”
She removed her hands from the white ball before her and also withdrew the blue barrier of light.
The white ball immediately dimmed as everything fell silent.
Bai Ling leaped down from the floating rock lightly as a vibrant smile appeared on her face. “Let’s get out of here, An Lin.”
An Lin nodded in agreement before walking with Bai Ling toward the gate of the research institute.
Thump!
An Lin’s heart suddenly jolted at this moment, as if he had been struck by some sort of indescribable force.
Immediately afterward, an ear-splitting rumbling erupted!
The entire mountain suddenly tremored violently. This wasn’t just a simple earthquake; it was an earth-shattering burst of tremors that threatened to tear the entire mountain apart!
“Be careful!” Bai Ling turned and unleashed a white light that enshrouded An Lin, Dong Guo, and Da Bai.
Boom!
A black light parted heaven and earth and sliced the unbelievably huge mountain in half.
Immediately afterward, a rainbow burst of energy suddenly exploded forth from within the mountain. This was like the light of divine punishment as it swept through this world while annihilating everything in its wake.
The gargantuan mountain began to collapse as this power continued to wreak havoc.
“Roar!”
“Wah!”
“Nice, haha!”
Three different voices reverberated between heaven and earth.
