Chapter 300: The Lost Su Qianyun
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
An Lin immediately jumped up. “What happened?”
Xu Xiaolan’s voice sounded again, “I lost Su Qianyun!”
“What?!” An Lin’s eyes widened. “How the hell did you manage to do that?”
Xu Xiaolan was in a state of panic. “We were shopping at the mall, then I saw a place that looked like it had good food and went to buy some. Who would have thought that Su Qianyun would suddenly vanish before I returned.”
An Lin was shocked into silence.
What kind of bullsh*t was this?
She was a fully grown adult, how could she just vanish? It wasn’t like she was some helpless infant or something…
Xu Xiaolan continued, “What do we do? She doesn’t have a phone!”
“Send me your location! I’ll come over!” An Lin knew that he couldn’t wait any longer and immediately sprang into action.
Xu Xiaolan’s location appeared on his phone.
Coincidentally, this was a shopping mall that was not far away from him.
It seemed like they too were quite interested in the Hua Nation’s capital and decided to make it their first destination.
An Lin didn’t waste any more time and immediately gathered Da Bai and Tian Lingling to fly toward the location on his phone.
…
…
Su Qianyun walked through the streets aimlessly with a worried expression.
She wore a light blue dress and attracted a lot of attention from onlookers with her exquisite features, but she had no time to be pleased with herself as she realized that she was lost!
Looking at the sea of people passing by, Su Qianyun was thoroughly dumbfounded.
It was over… How was she supposed to find Xu Xiaolan among this sea of people…
She should’ve exchanged voice transmission talismans with her, but she didn’t do it in the past as they were always together anyway.
Sigh, if only she hadn’t gone to the girl that was selling flowers.
No, that was the wrong way to think. The girl that was selling flowers had been knocked over, how could she not help her up?
She should’ve remembered the way back when she went to help her.
Su Qianyun’s eyes were filled with dejection and remorse. Her sense of direction had always been atrocious. No, wait, she didn’t have any sense of direction at all! She could basically get lost as soon as she turned her head.
She had always followed behind Xu Xiaolan closely in case she got lost.

But it still happened anyway.
After that, she decided to rely on her intuition to find Xu Xiaolan.
And after that… she got lost.
“What am I supposed to do?” Su Qianyun muttered to herself.
She didn’t have a phone, she had no money, and she couldn’t even speak their language.
She felt completely helpless for the first time ever.
Oh right, it was written on the books that she should look for police when she was in trouble! Su Qianyun’s eyes lit up once she found some sort of direction.
After scanning her surroundings, she finally settled her gaze on a kind-looking aunty in a milk tea shop.
“H… hello…” Su Qianyun stuttered with her awkward Mandarin.
The woman’s attitude further softened as she looked at Su Qianyun’s exquisite features. “Hey there, what would you like to drink?”
Su Qianyun faltered slightly. The woman had spoken too quickly so she had no idea what she said.
Hmm, she might not be able to understand anyway even if the woman spoke slowly.
“Police, where?” She finally forced out these two words after racking her brains.
“Ha?” The woman was a little dumbfounded; this girl was looking for police at her milk tea shop?
“I’m looking for police, where?” A hint of red appeared on Su Qianyun’s delicate cheeks, making her appear especially vulnerable.
The woman’s lips twitched but she still responded patiently, “If you’re looking for the police station, even the nearest one is a bit far away. It’s roughly in the northeast direction, about six hundred meters away from here, so it’s too far to provide directions on. You can just use the Qiandu maps app on your phone to find it, or catch a taxi.”
Su Qianyun blinked her dreamy eyes with a baffled expression. “Huh?”
She didn’t understand a single word.
Oh, wait, no, she understood it when the woman said “police”.
The woman was also baffled. What the hell, did she not understand human speech?
She soon came to a realization. From her speech and expression, perhaps she really didn’t understand Mandarin!
Could this be a foreign tourist?
It was quite a common occurrence to see a foreigner in the capital city. The woman smiled slightly, thinking to herself that the girl had come to the right person as her English was quite exceptional.
It was time to use her English skills to win glory for her country!
The woman confidently repeated everything she had said in English then looked toward Su Qianyun as if she was expecting a shocked yet joyful expression to appear on her face.

Su Qianyun was still completely baffled. “Huh?”
This time, she truly didn’t understand a single word.
“Me, police, where?”
Su Qianyun asked again with a beseeching expression.
“…”
The woman was on the brink of tears. This girl didn’t even know English? What country was she from, she looked like she was from the Hua Nation! With her pitiful language skills, even if she were to find the police, they wouldn’t be able to understand her anyway!
The woman looked at the exquisitely beautiful girl, staring up at her with a pitiful expression and something seemed to melt in her heart.
“Little Zhang, mind my shop for me! I have to go do something!” The woman decided to take the lead.
If you don’t know how to get there, then I’ll take you there myself.
“Come!” The woman waved her hand at Su Qianyun.
Su Qianyun nodded obediently and clung to the woman tightly in case she got lost again.
“She’s so clueless…” The woman shook her head with a wry smile.
It was the weekend today, so there were many people in the shopping mall.
Su Qianyun looked around curiously at the people on the streets and many of the onlookers also looked back at her with envy and admiration.
Right at this moment, she saw a middle-aged man who was acting a bit strange.
The man had his hand in another man’s pocket and was slowly pulling a black wallet out.
Su Qianyun blinked and felt like this scene seemed to be to quite a familiar one.
She felt like the thieves in the Kingdom of the Nine States acted like this as well.
What a familiar scene.
It looked like there were similarities between the two cultures after all.
Su Qianyun sighed to herself and flicked out an invisible stream of energy which struck the thief’s wrist.
Bam!
“Ow!”
The thief fell to the ground and clasped his wrist in pain and the black wallet also fell to the ground.
There were a lot of people on the street, and they instantly focused their attention on the commotion.
“Are you OK, young lad?
“Huh, that wallet seems a little familiar.
“Holy f*ck! That’s my wallet!”
The man immediately scooped up his wallet then looked at the man rolling around on the ground in shock.
He then called 110.
As for the thief, he was still howling in pain.
The woman leading Su Qianyun also looked toward the source of the commotion. “Tch, a thief that twisted his own wrist whilst stealing? How weird, it must be divine retribution.”
Su Qianyun pursed her lips in a smile. Although she did not know what everyone was saying, it was still a great feeling to uphold justice through her own power unbeknownst to everyone.
Wait… power unbeknownst to everyone?
Su Qianyun halted in her steps and suddenly thought of something as she looked up into the sky.
Masses of black clouds suddenly appeared in the sky above.
“Let’s go, it’s about to rain, let’s try to get to the police station before that.” The woman tugged on Su Qianyun’s arm and grumbled, “What is this freakish weather? The weather forecast said it was going to be sunny, but it looks like it’s about to pour with rain.”
The people on the streets also quickened their footsteps as they grumbled about the weather.
Boom—!
The sound of thunder erupted in the air.
“Damn, there’s even thunder too!”
The woman tried to drag Su Qianyun along, but she was standing rooted to the spot, staring toward the direction where thunder was rumbling.
At this moment, a few bolts of lightning suddenly tore through the clouds like a series of sharp claws.
Boom!
The thunder became exponentially louder as if it were an ancient beast roaring with all its might, startling a few of the girls on the scene into screeching in fear.
“F*ck, what kind of lightning is this?” The woman with Su Qianyun was also startled.
However, Su Qianyun’s body trembled slightly as she felt some ripples of the Spiritual Energy of Heaven and Earth.
Was there someone nearby sending out a signal!?
“Thank you!”
Su Qianyun expressed her gratitude to the woman.
“What did you say?” The woman faltered at her words.
Su Qianyun laid a porcelain-like palm on the woman’s back and a sense of warmth spread through her body.
The sensation was very comfortable, but the woman widened her eyes in shock.
In the next instant, Su Qianyun had already vanished.
A full ten seconds later, the woman came to her senses and pinched her own cheek to discover that pinching herself did hurt.
She moved her body in incredulity as she experienced the overflowing energy running through her body. Even her joint pain which had troubled her for years had disappeared, leaving her revitalized and completely pain-free.
“Did I just meet God?” the woman mumbled to herself in shock.
