Starting With Contract Pets Chapter 265

Gao An actually approved of this disciple of his.
He would like him even more if he was not so insistent on taking the path of a professional Pet Tamer.
"Thank you, master. I understand." Su Bai nodded.
"Oh, by the way, I also harvested a good thing here." He took out the Corpse Vine.
"I dealt with a killer organization and found it in their underground laboratory." He pointed to the Corpse Vine as he recounted.
"This thing is useless; it's a broken and defective product.
Gao An glanced at the Corpse Vine and dismissed it, saying, "I have a better one here, which can directly transform the skills of the monster before its death into a skill jade. Do you want it? I can give you one."
Su Bai: "…"
His master was really a senior cultivator.
He was speechless, thinking that his master would be very interested in this thing.
It turned out that it was considered by the latter as mere waste.
However, it made sense. How could a rubbish killer organization compete with a master cultivator who specialized in researching monsters?
Seeing the expression on his disciple's face, Gao An could not help but show a smug look.
Haha! Did I shock you?
"Master, I took ten more Giant Kraken eggs from the krakens' nest to prepare for cultivation…" Su Bai informed the old man about this decision.
"That's a good idea. If you want any resources, write a list; I will let the others prepare them. What about your kraken? What has become of it?" Gao Nan nodded and asked.
"Oh, that kraken is doing well. I'll show it to you later," said Su Bai with a smile.
"You kid actually dared to leave your master hanging." Gao An glanced sideways at him.
The two talked for a while, with Su Bai asking about his master's wellbeing before telling the latter about his experiences outside, including the fact that he and Chen Ruoxue were about to get married.

"Oh, what a joyous occasion. Remember to call me when you're getting married. I'll prepare a big gift for you." Gao An showed a relieved smile on his face and patted his disciple on the shoulder.
He was old. Seeing his apprentices getting married one after another was like seeing his own son settling down.
"Thank you, master; I'll definitely call you then," Su Bai said with a smile.
After chatting with his master for a while, he took out the gift he had prepared and handed it over.
It was not a precious thing and was just a variety of tea leaves.
He knew that his master liked drinking tea and had always collected such stuff.
Gao An was very happy to see this gift and liked how sincere and thoughtful these small gifts were.
After leaving the laboratory, Su Bai saw a young man with a height of 1.78 meters waiting for him there.
"Big bro, it's been a long time." Su Yue walked over with a smile and hugged him.
"Hahaha! It's really been a long time since I last saw you." He patted his younger brother on the shoulder and spoke happily.
After more than a year, Su Yue had grown to 1.78 meters tall. His appearance was sunny and handsome, and his temperament was elegant and gentle. He looked quite different from two years ago.
"Brother, let's go out and talk while walking," Su Yue looked at him and invited.
Su Bai nodded in agreement.
The two of them walked while they talked about their changes and experiences in this past one year.
"I heard that this place has become like this because of you. Is that true?" Su Bai looked at this huge Purple Fungus Planet and asked.
"Haha! I just gave the master some advice and came up with a few good special potions." Su Yue laughed.
"Aren't you being too polite with your own brother? There's no need to be humble in front of me." Su Bai glanced at him.

He sensed his master's admiration for Su Yue, along with his intentions to let his younger brother take over this place, during their conversation.
Even when Su Yue was choosing his beginner materials, Gao An had deliberately given him a main branch of the Algae monster with part of its soul.
Other apprentices did not enjoy this kind of treatment, and the most they received were Tier 3 branches or the kind without spiritual soul.
This showed that his younger brother's achievements were not as insignificant as he claimed.
"Hahaha! Really, it seems to me that these are just one step closer to the shoulders of the predecessors." Su Yue laughed.
After that, he opened his contract book and released the Green Spirit Ant Queen that Su Bai had given him. This monster had already evolved several times due to his efforts and had now become the Flying Spirit Ant Queen, which was way stronger than before.
His younger brother's growth made Su Bai feel gratified. The former was no longer that little kid, who could only follow him around. He now had his own dreams and his own ideas.
Su Bai truly did not dislike this because it was a sign that his younger brother had become an adult.
Their siblinghood had not changed because of anything.
He gave him many special materials, which were only obtainable in the Abyss Star Territory.
Su Yue, in return, gave him many of the potions he had developed, which greatly shocked Su Bai.
An example was a potion named 'Water Lord'; its function was to increase a pet's water attribute temporarily.
This effect did not seem to be strong, but it was actually very practical. For example, if the pet attribute was restrained, a sudden strengthening of its water attribute could hit the opponent by surprise.
"Brother, do you want to take a look in the sky?" Su Yue looked at him and asked, thinking that he would be interested in it.
"It was right on my mind!" Su Bai chuckled slightly.
He enlarged Planet Eye and jumped up with his younger brother.
"Lead the way." He motioned.
"Okay, then. I'll take you to see some peculiar sights." Su Yue smiled.
As his younger brother pointed the way, Planet Eye carried the two to Purple Fungus Planet.
Looking down from the sky, Su Bai discovered that Purple Fungus Planet was not complete and a small part of it was missing.
"Brother, you don't need to look at it. This is a dying planet. Its origin has been dug away by those aliens that feed on the core." Su Yue spread his hands and explained this to him.
"They feed on the core?" he asked curiously.
"Yes, those aliens are different from us, human beings. They have extremely strong combat power and can survive in the universe when they're born. They are tenacious as monsters and also like eating planet cores. Almost no live planets wherever they roam.
"They attacked Blue Planet, seemingly because of its core, but I'm not clear about the specific situation." His brother continued to explain.
Su Bai nodded slowly, thinking of how the Abyss Star Territory had been full of dead planets.
It seemed that many void monsters were interested in planet cores.
There should be no small secret hidden in the core of Blue Planet.
"Then are you guys attempting to resurrect Purple Fungus Planet?" he asked.
"Yes, but it's just a try; the probability of success is actually not great." Su Yue nodded.
As they left the Purple Fungus Planet, his younger brother pointed in another direction and said, "Let's go there and meet with the eldest disciple first; I guess you've never met him, either."
"That's true. I haven't met the eldest disciple of our master before."
A curious look appeared on Su Bai's face.
