Chapter 842 - The Immemorial Sword Formation Activates
Noah was able to enter the grand Galaxy that was the Consummate Sword Holy Land with relative ease as the Arch Human Entities guided him in.
It was filled with a myriad of stars like any galaxies, but it held a mysterious air that made it seem extremely old and archaic!
Traverser was the only one who seemed to have his guard up as Noah and the Arch Human Entities floated towards an enormous golden door with smiles.
"This is the Sword Realm that is more than worthy of receiving respected guests such as yourselves."
The lead Entity introduced the Realm they were entering through the golden door as they appeared in a fantastical environment.
Noah was in the skies as he watched an expansive fantasy city filled with buildings and structures built to the likeness of swords, vast grasslands present throughout as it seemed like a land that past Sages would stroll through!
The essence was vibrantly dancing in the surroundings as the party of Entities descended down an open area that held majestic outdoor dining tables and chairs, Noah and Traverser being welcomed to sit down as a variety of glistening food and drinks appeared on it.
"Now, let us talk over a hearty meal."
The lead Entity had an indiscernible smile as he smiled at them, Noah not caring as he sat down and comfortably began helping himself to the golden drinks and meat that vibrated with essence.
"I am the Sword Emperor’s right hand man, Brightsword. May I know why the Emperorslayer has made his way over to our Ancient Power?"
Brightsword glanced at Noah with a smile as he asked.
It was an extremely weird environment as all the Entities were watching Noah, him being the only figure that was digging into the food and enjoying himself as even Traverser seemed to be carefully looking back at the watching Entities.

"I came for the Ruination Core that is somewhere in this Ancient Power."
"..."
Silence descended onto the majestic outdoor dining area as even the wind stalled, Traverser’s eyes opening wide as they locked towards Noah...watching as this being merely continued enjoying his meal with a savory look after saying shocking words!
What was even more surprising was...the fact that the Arch Human Entities didn’t react in a shocked manner or erupt out in anger, remaining still as Brightsword only kept smiling.
"I see. Then we must follow the will of the Sword Emperor!"
THRUM!
Brightsword said these words powerfully as his eyes shone with immense l.u.s.ter, Noah merely glancing towards this Entity and those around him with squinting eyes as he spoke nonchalantly once more.
"And what is the will of your Sword Emperor?"
There was a period of silence as Brightsword waved his hands while smiling, seemingly giving a signal as he smiled.
"The will of the Sword Emperor is something even we cannot deny...so I shall wish you good luck in obtaining what you want. If fate permits, I might even stand in front of you again!"
RUMBLE!
The gaze of Brightstar and other Entities seemed to hold innumerable mysteries as the moment these words finished, the figures of the Entities in front of Noah began to disappear one after another as Noah and Traverser also felt themselves swept away by a spatial storm!
"Hmmm?!"
Noah’s eyes shone with bright light as he sensed his surroundings, his eyes glancing around to find himself in an entirely new area that held a much different environment than the one he was in. He finished the golden drink he had in his hand nonchalantly as he began to focus.
Spreading his senses out, he saw that he had been teleported to a planet that had no life on it, the only figures on this planet being him...and a single Arch Human Entity that was stroking his sword with a melancholic expression!

This Entity was standing in front of an enormous magic circle that shone with an intense light, Noah’s Eyes of Truth locking onto it as his eyes nearly bulged out when he somewhat ascertained what was going on.
THRUUM!
Yet he didn’t have to put the pieces together as a moment later, the Illusory image of a devilishly handsome Arch Human formed in the skies of this planet! This one held a head full of dark hair that moved with the wind, a sharp jawline and an air of a being that carried themselves with immense majesty!
His eyes seemed to hold a myriad of mysteries as he glanced down towards Noah and spoke grandly.
"I am glad you could make your way down to my Consummate Sword Expanse...as it gives me a unique opportunity to do something I had long given up on and thought of as mere stories!"
RUMBLE!
Filled with the light of majesty and power, the Sword Emperor had appeared in front of Noah in an Illusory form.
With the simple appearance of this figure, Noah’s senses also caught the usage of enormous amounts of mana in his surroundings, knowing a unique phenomenon was occurring at this moment as he stared at the floating figure in the skies.
"Tens of thousands of years ago, my Master told the tale of a being that would be capable of holding immense power, of a being that could utilize the Tools of Ruination!"
RUMBLE!
"It has been so long that I nearly forgot about this tale...that I nearly gave up! Yet, a being matching the descriptions Master mentioned has stepped onto my home, but this being...is not up to par with the ill.u.s.trious one that my Master painted."
The resounding voice of the Sword Emperor was filled with melancholy as he looked at Noah.
"The Master said that the one capable of using the Tools of Ruination would be able to very quickly rise in strength as they could devour the origins of others and assimilate them into their own power."
"I am inclined to believe in the Master, and it is the reason why I have made so much effort. But...I must be sure that I am making the right choice, so I shall give you a chance!"
The barren planet Noah was on quaked as enormous amounts of essence flooded in, something shocking that had been underway finally being completed.
"This chance lies on the Immemorial Sword Formation that has been activated. A formation that spans across 50 planets and stars- each of them connected together to create a unique Spatial Realm that uses the Origins of the Sword Kings of my Consummate Sword Expanse at their core."
"Within this Immemorial Sword Formation, you will stand against my Sword Kings as you make your way to the top. If you are capable enough and are the true Master of Ruination, you should be able to defeat them as you assimilate their power to increase your own. It is a huge sacrifice that my forces are making as they will lose a significant portion of their power with their defeat...but I must do this if I want to realize the dream of my Master!"
RUMBLE!
Noah’s eyes shone brightly as he stared at the illusory figure, his mind rumbling with many thoughts as a singular one came to the very forefront when he looked at the situation before him.
’So...you’ve created a Dungeon where Entities are the mini bosses?!’
...!

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. A Standard Model of Magic
The world ended, and magic came back. The part our parents didn't expect, was for Science to break on reentry. Twenty years after the apocalypse, with our nations dismantled and hidden continents unearthed, a new generation has grown up in the wreckage of 21st century civilization. For us, the fantastic is at our doorstep and we have had no choice but to fight back. Meanwhile, the laws of nature bend and break at the whims of immortal gods, all of which are now dead and none of which are content to stay that way. But we cannot afford to give up. We are the stewards of a rewritten century, in which a little luck and a whole lot of magic might make anything possible – maybe even a world better than the one we lost. A Standard Model of Magic is a complete overhaul of my old story A Storm in the Fall. I'm afraid I was unhappy with the LitRPG elements, which I don't mind reading, but I apparently loath writing. Sorry. Once I'd made the choice to decouple the story from the OF that inspired it and reconfigure the magic system to my satisfaction, little of the original plotline survived. I will be salvaging most of my original characters, and I will keep some elements which are endemic to the genre, but that is all. I don't have an update schedule which I can commit to yet, but I will try to maintain a weekly pace.(This is currently RoyalRoad exclusive, since I'm lazy. If you find it posted elsewhere, it wasn't me and it wasn't with permission) If you're interested, I've set up a discord.
