Chapter 779 - A Legacy of a Great Sage! I

Outside of the widened crack that led to the secret Realm.

Even though some time had passed within the Primal Holy Land, only a few hours had gone by in the outside world due to the unique time and spatial environment of the secret realm.

Outside of the crack, the powerful personages were situated grandly as they enjoyed paradisiacal drinks and food, the Holy Emperor discussing something with the Primal Emperor as their faces were filled with seriousness!

"There are rumors of Entities that are nearing fully assimilating Daos...the pressure of the coming Cataclysm might just help with the birth of new Sages for the first time since that..."

Yes! The talk was about Sages! In the Dark Universe that used to be populated with Sages and Great Sages before a monumental event took place, it was extremely saddening to look at its state now as the possibility of Sages or Great Sages even existing in it was currently unknown!

After tens of thousands of years had passed since that event, many beings thought there was a high possibility that other Sages had arisen during that time, with rumors that some of the more powerful Ancient Powers were even backed by living Sages.

Yet nobody knew exactly what the truth was. To understand the concept of Sages and Great Sages though, we must talk about how one can obtain such a title to begin with!

This was because becoming a Sage did not mean advancing from the GALAXY Realm, and instead it all had to do with the type of Dao a being studied and whether they had assimilated it.

When it came to the level of Great Sage, this one involved both an advancement of a Realm and the inclusion of assimilated Daos!

In the Dark Universe, the level of GALAXY could be considered to be the peak, with individuals only becoming Entities after they had fully comprehended a Dao, and for those chasing the title of Sages...they had to have both comprehended and assimilated not just one Dao, but multiple!

When it came to the level of Great Sages, very little information about this existed as it involved the secret of advancing past the level of GALAXY, with individuals capable of doing this only termed Great Sages if in addition to their Realm, they comprehend and assimilated a single Grand Dao. There were also the slightly less powerful Great Sages who aside from exceeding the level of GALAXY, they had also assimilated multiple Daos.

Great Sage Aoin was one such being, who had exceeded the level of GALAXY while assimilating the Lesser Daos of Summoning and Voidspace!

Such was the being that used to stand at the top of the Ancient Power that was known as the Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter to this day.

There were many wisps and rumors when it came to this Great Sage, with talks of him caring for his Ancient Power so much so that before his death, he was already working on or had already completed a Legacy that he planned to leave behind. Yet...even the Royalty of the Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter themselves knew nothing about this or its truthfulness as all the Sages and Great Sages had passed so suddenly.

Before the crack where they had sent 20 of their most powerful young experts, the Holy Emperor and the Primal Emperor were talking about such a topic.

"I doubt any new Sages have arisen in the past tens of thousands of years, much less Great Sages. It is simply too hard..."

The gaze of the Primal Emperor shone with light as he spoke, the Holy Emperor about to reply on this topic of possible Sages within the Dark Universe when suddenly, his face rapidly changed as he turned towards the direction of the widened spatial crack!

THRUUUM!

At this moment, the crack widened even further as a l.u.s.trous light erupted from it, a grand light filled with an awe inspiring aura that made even the Entities that stood as Rulers of Ancient Powers tremble.

"This...!"

The Holy Emperor stood up with an ecstatic face as Anastasia came close to him, worry filling her face as she watched the overbearing aura and light wash out from the widening crack in space.

The crack stopped widening after a certain point as it gradually transformed into a mystical golden door that was 20 meters wide, this golden door having a pulsating inscription that read out a single word- AOIN!

RUMBLE!

The existence of this word caused the minds of many to pale and tremble as the forces of the Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter looked towards it with euphoria.

The Primal Emperor had a sharp light pass through his eyes as he looked over in shock, the reality setting in as the resonant voice of the Holy Emperor resounded out again.

"They’ve actually found the Legacy...!"

THRUUM!

A phenomenon so grand it was even seen in the outside world! Inside the Secret Realm itself...a majestic scene was all that could be observed as great changes occurred to the verdant mountains and fields while the multicolored skies coagulated with dense essence.

At the center of this Secret Realm, an enormous tower was rising after a certain someone had splashed the blood of his PRISMATIC Pet atop its triangular tip, this archaic looking tower shimmering with colors of red, gold, and black as its appearance was the cause of everything!

OOOOM!

Noah and Anna stood below this tower as their shining eyes glanced up towards it, the rumblings all around them coming to a stop as a circular blast of vibrant essence erupted from the tower to fully announce its arrival.

Thereafter, this vibrant essence began coalescing together as it began forming into a shape, a shape of something humanoid and at the same time not!

Noah watched with bright eyes as the illusory form of a golden robed Dragonoid came to be, a sharp horn rising from the center of the forehead as the eyes swirled with the shocking light of galaxies.

RUMBLE!

Essence gathered as this figure became more and more corporeal, its mouth opening soon after as a resonant voice reverberated out!

"Children of all Tribes and Clans. From this point onward, My Legacy shall be open to those destined!"

WAAA!

The words came with a magisterial air as the illusory form of a Great Sage manifested in the skies of the Secret Realm!
