Chapter 727 - I Shall Usher in the Winds of Ruination! I
In the Novus Galaxy, a single being was unveiling shocking truths that very few knew about in the vast Dark Universe!
His unveiling was only made possible because of the completion of a ridiculous Trait, but it was made possible nonetheless as shocking information was shown clearly in front of him.
The Ruination Cores actually stemmed from the Cosmic Treasure, [Ruination], that the Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe utilized to make grand advancements.
This Cosmic Treasure was also the reason for other Universes of the Primordial Cosmos to aim their blades towards the Dark Universe, this single treasure plunging the Primordial Era into chaos as many forces fought for it.
The shocking event that brought an end to it...was something that was due to the actions of the Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe, where they utilized the Cosmic Treasure to carry out a drastic measure!
Noah’s eyes were continuing to burn with ever increasing anger as it soon became unbounded wrath the more that he continued to read the [Excerpt I- History] that was visible to his eyes.
[Excerpt I- History] :: ...The Great Stage that had stepped on the path of a Cosmic Dao led the way as all the Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe were brought together to make their wish into a reality.
All of them used their power and strength to connect to the Cosmic Treasure, Ruination, as they carried out an action that eventually led to the shattering of the treasure and the creation of the Ruination Cores such as this.
In order to escape from the ever increasing forces of multiple Universes fighting for their Cosmic Treasure, the Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe chose to cut off their Universe from the Primordial Cosmos as they forever disappeared from it, those wishing them harm never being able to find their Universe ever again!

But to successfully sever the connection of an entire universe from the Primordial Cosmos...a sacrifice was required. The only one that knew of this was the Great Sage that had embarked on a Cosmic Dao, all the other Sages having no idea until when the process began, they felt their very own life forces being drained on top of their mana as they tried to power up the Cosmic Treasure and grant their wish.
To power up the Cosmic Treasure, the life forces of all the powerful Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe were eaten up, where the only one remaining alive was the Great Sage that had begun it, this being giving the last command before his soul perished for the firmament of the Dark Universe, for the separation of it from the Primordial Cosmos!
The wish of this Great Sage and all the other Sages was actually granted as the Cosmic Treasure performed a measure nobody in the Primordial Cosmos had seen before, where the enemy Universes found to their shock that where the Dark Universe used to be...had suddenly become empty.
They found to their shock that throughout the entire Primordial Cosmos, the Dark Universe had disappeared overnight!
Towards this action, they could only despair as they gave up on the stupendous Treasure they never even held. This was because within the Primordial Cosmos, those qualified could easily travel among the different Universes, but nobody had been able to ever leave the Primordial Cosmos.
When a Universe disappeared for the first time in the history of the Primordial Cosmos, waves reverberated throughout as many would forever search for a truth that they would never be able to find.
The moment that the Cosmic Treasure completed its grand task of separating an entire Dark Universe from its Cosmos, cracks spread throughout it as the task was simply too much, and there was no master to control it. This caused for the Cosmic Treasure to splinter as from it...the Ruination Cores were born.

Yet, this Cosmic Treasure seemed to have a form of consciousness as during the time it shattered, it created a book that displayed some of its mysteries...a book that might make it possible for beings of the Dark Universe to be able to utilize the Ruination Cores in the future!
This was how the Book of Ruination came to be, with the impact from the birth of the Ruination Cores flinging the pages of this book across the vast Dark Universe. On these pages were a variety of mysteries, but the core treasures that remained were the Ruination Cores.
These Ruination Cores spread throughout the different parts of the Dark Universe, the history of what they just carried out being something very few knew as all those involved had fallen!
All the Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe perished from this single action, only some of their descendants left behind in Ancient Powers having some residual knowledge of this shocking history as time passed.
But what the Sages of the Dark Universe did not know by carrying out this action...was the fact that one could not simply separate a Universe from its Primordial Cosmos.
The Primordial Cosmos could be compared to a body, where the many universes within it made up its organs, bones, muscles, fingers, and toes. Cutting off an organ or removing it from the main body...would only mean there was destruction waiting for it!
This was the point that all the Sages and Great Sages had missed.
The Cosmic Treasure stayed true to its name as the last action conducted by it truly brought about Ruination, cutting off a Universe from its Primordial Cosmos as all that was left for it...was Apocalyptic Ruination...]
THRUUM!
Noah could feel his heart aching as he read on, this being the source of his ever so rising wrath!
The Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe had actually condemned all of its inhabitants to certain death.
They had played with forces outside their understanding as they all perished, and they went further on by dooming an entire Universe!

Everywhere else the constant threat of a lightning swift Viking incursion loomed over the land.Growing up in this lawless world is a displaced Daynin McKinnon, heir to an ancient familial keep on the island of Rhum.
