Chapter 726 - The Dreadful History of the Tools of Ruination!

The Novus Galaxy knew Noah’s purpose the moment he appeared as from its mystical obsidian core, the red and black shimmering Ruination Core that looked like a small square item with numerous holes appeared!

The last time he gazed at this, his eyes had ruptured as he only got a paragraph of a description. But with the completing Protagonist Trait that enhanced his Eyes of Truth...he should be able to know everything about this mystical treasure.

RUMBLE!

His eyes shimmered with intense multicolored lights that went on to shine on the Ruination Core, a blinding light erupting out as in the next moment, multiple enormous text boxes appeared in Noah’s vision!

These text boxes all gave information on the Ruination Core, and all that Noah could say at this time was that the information he got...was too abundant! His eyes honed in on the first text box as he began reading, intent on finding out what this Ruination Core truly was.

[Ruination Core](3rd) :: A tool of extreme power that more often than not invites destruction to its user. Capable of interfering with the Universal Laws themselves, it is a tool of Ruination that has multiple counterparts spread out across the Dark Universe. A special constitution is required to wield tools of Ruination. When all the tools of Ruination are gathered, the Dark Universe will be returned to its natural state. The information found on this Ruination Core is too vast, and has been categorized into multiple parts. [Excerpt I- History], [Excerpt II-Uses], [Excerpt III- Locations of other Ruination Tools]...

Normally, Noah would simply read for himself as the rest of us read a summary, but this was such important information and history as it had to be experienced first hand for one to truly understand what meaning it held!

While being alarmed at the abundance of information, Noah proceeded forward as he wanted to learn of the history of this item first.

[Excerpt I- History] :: This Ruination Core is a tool of power and destruction that came from a stupendous and naturally formed Cosmic Treasure. It cannot be utilized by normal means as it requires a specific constitution in order for it to be utilized by beings. Entities such as Galaxies in a universe are capable of utilizing some of its functions as when separated, the tools of Ruination more than likely seek cores of Galaxies as their home.

When it comes to the constitution required to utilize it, a being needs to have the fully formed prime laws of their universe (Light, Dark, Fire, Water, Earth, and Air) within their origin. This constitution is termed the Universal Origin Physique, something achieved very little times over the eons as its creation was truly too hard.

A single Ruination Core is only capable of residing in one of the mastered Law Origins within the Universal Origin Physique, where the being capable of locating the remaining five Ruination Cores and combining them into each of his Law Origins...this being shall be capable of bringing down Ruination.

To understand the concept of Ruination, one must understand how it came to be in the first place, as well as what caused the splintering of the Cosmic Treasure that made way for the formation of the Six Ruination Cores.

In the past, the complete Cosmic Treasure was not able to be wielded by the beings that obtained it. These beings were termed Sages, Entities that were capable of surpassing the boundary of the GALAXY Realm as they achieved accomplishments that very few experience. When the Cosmic Treasure was first located, it passed through the hands of multiple Sages and Great Sages, these powerful beings not being able to utilize the treasure until all of them combined the power of their Realms and comprehensions in Laws and Daos in order to put it to use.

When the Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe began to utilize the Cosmic Treasure, they found to their shock its stupendous uses that made way for great advancements in their comprehensions and Realms, as well as the capability of the treasure to affect the laws and daos of universes!

During this long forgotten era of eons past, it went under a particular name that only the top most beings knew of. The Era when the Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe began to utilize the Cosmic Treasure that would later fracture into Ruination Cores was known as the...Primordial Era.

During this Primordial Era, the Dark Universe, like many other Universes, was connected to the Primordial Cosmos. It was a period of grand advancements and flourishing as with the use of the Cosmic Treasure known as Ruination, the Dark Universe was able to elevate its status as it produced many more Sages and Great Sages, where some beings even began seeing the path past it!

With this treasure, traversing through laws was easy as learning the Lesser and Grand Daos became a walk in the path, where a few powerful Great Sages even stepped on the path of Cosmic Daos.

Yet, this was also the time when other Universes of the Primordial Cosmos found out about the Cosmic Treasure, as well as what the Dark Universe had been able to do with it. This finding...would be the cause of a dreadful war that brought with it horrendous results...]

Noah’s body was trembling unconsciously the more he read on, the information contained within this single Ruination Core being simply too overwhelming! The content he was reading from it did not even feel like something he should be able to read, and it was only made possible by the newly enhanced Eyes of Truth as it truly gave him utterly everything.

He could not tear his eyes away as he continued to read!

[...The War brought forth for the stupendous Cosmic Treasure known as Ruination was true to its name- True and appalling ruination spread through the Primordial Cosmos as the war waged for hundreds of years, and its flames only spurred even greater on the 999th year.

This was because even while facing the might of multiple other Universes, the Dark Universe had actually managed to remain standing strong in the Primordial Cosmos. This fact only caused even more universes to turn their attention towards them as their enemies only increased, more and more coming to understand the terrifying effects of the Cosmic Treasure as a major portion of the Primordial Cosmos set their eyes on the Dark Universe.

It was at this time that the Sages and Great Sages of the Dark Universe felt themselves to be at the edge of a cliff. Even while continuing to use the Cosmic Treasure to produce more Sages and enhance their understanding in the Daos and Laws, the swarming of multiple universes was gradually overwhelming them as they were left with very few options!

At this stage, the Great Sage that had stepped on a Cosmic Dao came forth, this Great Sage proposing a shocking solution that would stop the war with the other Universes as well as grant them the freedom to continue advancing and learning more about the Cosmic Treasure. What this Great Sage proposed was for them to use the terrifying power of the Cosmic Treasure to break off the Dark Universe from the Primordial Cosmos, forever separating them in this Primordial Era as they used the power of the Cosmic Treasure to hide themselves to never be found by any forces from the Primordial Cosmos.

The solution seemed very viable, and the many sages moved forward with enthusiasm to see if they could make it possible!

But what they didn’t know was the fact that this action would affect too many things, that this singular action would set the Dark Universe on a path of destruction and Ruination, on a path that it was still headed to right now...]

As he read on, Noah’s body had stopped shaking as it was his eyes that trembled, but they didn’t tremble in shock or surprise- they were trembling from ever-rising and propagating anger as the content he read next...was one that birthed immense wrath and devastation from the depths of his heart.

The information was simply too much!
