Chapter 724 - A Completed Protagonist Trait!

The hearts of many beings were heavy as they had just undergone too many abrupt events in the Nexus Galaxy!

The Imperials watched on with shocked eyes as an extremely powerful Starry Behemoth Tarragon shimmered with a grand Manifested Galaxy, this enormous dragon laying its eyes on the Nexus Galaxy once more as its figure began to disappear in front of their eyes.

On top of it, Anna was the only one looking back at the Imperials as her gaze landed on the body of Alexander, her mouth moving as she whispered a telepathic message to him.

"I better see you soon. Who knows, maybe even in this situation you can..."

Her last words were left unsaid as she shook her head, turning her gaze away as the Starry Behemoth Tarragon disappeared! Nobody on top of it spared another glance at the Nexus Galaxy, even Anastasia forcing herself to keep her head forward as she did not want to be seen turning around!

She left behind a saddened Imperial Adjudicator who had been receiving telepathic messages from her this entire time for him to not make a move, this father having been forced to watch his wife and daughter taken from him right before his eyes while he could not do a single thing!

The sense of powerlessness and defeat he felt was only expressed the moment when the figures of the powerful personages disappeared, his knees falling down in the starry space as his ashen face was filled with perspiration! His body shook as he clenched his fists, some of the nearby Imperial Rulers and Imperial Lords approaching him as others worked to provide order and oversee the repairing of the boundary of the Nexus Galaxy.

Aboard the enormous Starry Behemoth Tarragon that had just left the Nexus Galaxy, Rudolf was looking at the expansive chaotic void as he telepathically communicated with Old Man Khan.

"There is a mysterious force or being connected to that Galaxy. That spatial storm that swept us away even with our power for us to be taken there just in time to save the Holy Princess and the rest of them...we need to keep a lookout for who was behind it."

Old Man Khan opened his eyes into slits as he nodded. "The emblem showing our authority was cast down by me, I’ll be able to keep my eyes on it for the next thousand years."

This hidden talk continued in the minds of these powerful experts as beside them, the Holy Princess had already begun to adopt a cold demeanor as she brought her daughter close, these drop-dead gorgeous women having telepathic communications of their own as a mother prepared her daughter for what was to come.

For a trip that would take weeks, the party made their way back to the Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter as their mount pierced deeper into the Dark Universe!

Meanwhile in the Nexus Galaxy, the distraught Imperial Adjudicator adopted a fierce expression as he turned towards the body of Alexander. He went towards this newly crowned Imperial Ruler with sharp eyes as he nearly bowed his head while sending him a message.

"When you make your way toward the Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter in the future, please watch over Anna!"

His words were filled with emotion as this Ruler nearly bowed his head to who should have been another one of his subjects, but he saw Rudolf hand Alexander a crystalline medallion as he knew Anastasia must have spoken about his genius and wanted to recruit him!

Noah nodded with a serious expression as he affirmed he would do all he could, the Imperial Adjudicator staring at him briefly before he moved away to work with the other Imperials to repair the portion of their shattered Galaxy.

At this same time, the clone of Alexander in the Central Realm of the Nexus Galaxy received a message!

[Our deal can be considered to be complete.]

RUMBLE!

The words of the Nexus Galaxy were followed with an eruption of essence, Noah’s eyes shining as he very quickly switched the position of his main body and clone in order to bring the true body of Alexander that would be receiving something grand without picking up the attention of anyone.

The main body of Alexander appeared in the Central Realm as he stared at the obsidian core, the eruption of galactic essence rushing directly towards him right away as he was bathed in a gorgeous rainbow of colors!

[The conditions to grant the full Protagonist Trait have been met.]

THRUUM!

Essence overflowed as Noah closed his eyes and bathed in it once more, this being his second time where he completed a shocking Trait that would forever change him. The galactic essence flooded towards him for a few minutes as it inscribed something deep in his soul, the essence of the universal laws also being sucked in as they were forced to adhere to the shocking qualities of this Trait.

The Nexus Galaxy did not know this, but far off in the distance multiple light years away, the Novus Galaxy was utilizing the rule-defying capabilities of the Ruination Core through the connection of Noah and Alexander to make sure this trait completion truly granted Noah all it could as the universal laws went forward to bring it to completion!

[The Trait has been successfully completed.]

The erupting essence around Noah died down as he opened his eyes, a sharp smile appearing on his face as he glanced towards a blinking trait in the stat panel in front of him.

[Protagonist] :: You are the protagonist. To live up to such a title, abilities worthy of creating a true Protagonist are granted. As it is a culminated Trait, it has different stages that each have their own abilities. This trait has been fully unlocked at this moment. Ability(s) : Eyes of Truth, Photographic Memory, Memorable Visage, Blind Luck, Plot Armor, Chosen Extras, Deus Ex Machina, Chosen One, Save Point, Protagonist’s Bookmark.

The Trait he transmigrated into the Nexus Galaxy for was displayed in a stellar style in front of him as three new abilities were unlocked!

He also knew that the surprises did not stop there, and that the extent of the previous abilities would have also been enhanced. An example was his [Eyes of Truth] ability, where he should not be able to glance at anything as he saw the full truth, with no issues of suddenly seeing undecipherable symbols as secrets were kept from him.

He looked forward to using this ability the most on a particular set of rare items that even Entities were fighting for...

But before that, he wanted to affirm the uses of the three new abilities. His eyes looked over the three as he chose the last one that was undecipherable before, the one that read [Protagonist’s Bookmark]!

[Protagonist’s Bookmark] :: A true protagonist has their trials, but they also have their moments where they shine with blinding power. To further create a truly powerful Protagonist, the last ability of this Trait makes the holder of it capable of ’Bookmarking’ the characters that they previously came in contact with. To those Bookmarked, the Protagonist can descend onto their body without their knowledge as he becomes able to assimilate into them for a period of 1 minute. In this period of time, the Protagonist can choose to focus on a specific area such as Experiences, Laws, Realm Progression, Daos...everything that the bookmarked character has accomplished as the Protagonist can rapidly raise their law progression or learn a new law, gains years of experience, enhance their understandings of Realms, enhance their understanding of a current Dao, or step on the path of a brand new Dao that the bookmarked character is adept on. Only a previously met character that the Protagonist saw with their own eyes can be bookmarked, and a 30 day cool down exists before the ability can be utilized again.
