Chapter 691 - The First Archaic Summon!

Without wasting any time, Noah delved into the newly gained skill tree that was known as [Animus Summon Trainer]!

[Animus Summon Trainer] :: A skill tree geared towards raising the strongest Animus Pet. The skills contained within are capable of raising their ranks, refining their bloodlines, and much more. Abilities include [Archaic Contract](5/5), [Animus Growth Empowerment](5/5), [Bloodline Forging](5/5), [One Body, One Soul](5/5)

[Archaic Contract](5/5):: Every Animus Summoner needs to form a contract with the pet they summon. This ability inscribes an Archaic Contract into the souls of the Summoner and the Pet, forming a bond that makes them one. (Skill Point enhancement allows the user to contract a Pet a stage above their own).

[Animus Growth Empowerment](5/5):: The core skill of an Animus Trainer. This ability is cast on the Pet that the Summoner wants to train as their Realm can be raised. The Realm of the Summon can be taken as high as the Realm of the Summoner. Because of the uniqueness of Animus Summons, their Realms can be grown to Grand Completion over time as they are continuously trained with this ability. (Skill Point enhancement increases the effectiveness of this ability by 200%).

[Bloodline Forging](5/5) :: Even the weakest Animus Summons have bloodlines. This ability allows the Summoner to refine and activate the strongest bloodline that is hiding within their Summons. Can only be cast on a pet every 24 hours. (Skill Point enhancement allows for even bloodlines of Prismatic Summons to be brought forth, with the rate of refining bloodlines increased by 200%).

[One Body, One Soul](5/5) :: This ability allows the Animus Summoners to merge with their contracted Pet, their whole being forged into one as their power is enhanced. (Skill Point enhancement allows for perfect merging of Summoner and Pet, with the power increased by 200%)

Noah stared at the skills as his mind seemed to be buzzing, his eyes nearly shaking from the excitement as he read over them multiple times.

A completely new path of strength that would make him even more overpowered had opened up, and it opened up in such a stellar fashion at that!

On top of dreadful Traits that were only made possible through the use of a mysterious Ruination Core and the use of Universal Laws that he would comprehend fully in a matter of time...he now also had a Dao to support his strength!

Just this single Dao of Summoning came with such appalling abilities that he couldn’t wait to explore all of it and see what it would give him.

He tried his very best to make sure that his mind wasn’t thinking about the fact that there were many other Daos that he didn’t even know about, the mere mention of Lesser Daos, Grand Daos, and Cosmic Dao making his heart tingle in anticipation.

But the Dao of Summoning was first, and even though it was a Lesser Dao, its majesty felt greater than even the Ultimate Laws of Life and Death!

"Familiarize yourself with the abilities before you try summoning your first Animus Summon."

The voice of Anastasia shook him out of his stupor as he glanced around him, seeing that the Imperial Adjudicator had released his hand from the Dao Crystal while shaking his head disappointedly, while Anna still had her eyes closed as she tried to sense the Dao of Summoning.

Even while being temporarily contracted to an Archaic Animus Pet, the Imperial Adjudicator could still not sense even an ounce of the Dao, the temporary contract being something that Anastasia placed onto him herself with the willingness of her pet!

But even this did not allow someone as fearsome as the Imperial Adjudicator to grasp even a tendril of the Dao of Summoning.

Yet...

The eyes of the Imperial Adjudicator looked towards the direction where Noah sat in a Lotus position with difficult eyes as he saw the familiar oppressive aura of a Dao that Anastasia released also emanate from this genius!

He had shockingly grasped a wisp of this Dao the first time he tried! The Imperial Adjudicator had sunken shoulders at being near a genius such as this as Anastasia came next to him and stroked his shoulders affectionately.

"It is not that you aren’t talented, just that he is a monster." Anastasia’s words that should have made the half a step into the Galaxy Realm expert feel good only made him feel worse, his gaze focusing on the direction of the genius again as they saw an ancient runic sigil forming in the skies.

"You’re trying to summon right away?!" Even Anastasia was surprised as her eyes focused on what was about to happen, not expecting this genius to be so confident that he would start right away.

Off to the side, Noah’s eyes were filled with concentration as he could not bring himself to wait any longer, his eyes shining luminously as he cast >!

RUMBLE!

In the skies, an archaic runic sigil appeared as it rotated while releasing a unique aura, a swirling Rift slowly being formed above them as it began to expand rapidly.

Anastasia looked at this scene with interested eyes as she knew that the larger the opening Rift was when one first summoned their pet, the more powerful and rare that pet was!

The Rift brought to life by the archaic runic sigil was already at 10 meters and still expanding, which let her know that an Animus Summon of at least a Rare rank was coming.

Below the Rift, Noah was looking with expectant eyes as he wondered of the first Animus Pet he would summon.

What rank would it be! What kind of a creature and with what bloodline!

Many thoughts and expectations were carried as the Rift became ever larger, reaching 50 meters as Anastasia’s mouth opened with an agape expression once more.

’An Ultra Rare pet with the first summon?!’

Her thoughts were tumultuous as she looked towards this genius with a disbelieving gaze, the Rift above them shining brilliantly as something descended down while being surrounded by the colors of blazing flames and an immense light of fate!

RUMBLE!

The light came all the way down as it touched the ground, the blinding luminescence dying down as the creature to come out of the rift began to be seen with clarity.

Being only a meter in size, the Archaic Animus Summon shimmered with wings that spat out flames, the golden light of fate pulsing off of its feathers as its head rose to the skies. One could see a golden piercing beak with dichromatic eyes of gold and red that dripped with arrogance and dominance, this Animus Summon looking towards Noah with an unkempt aura of regality!

Standing on three legs with wings wreathed in flames and the light of fate, the First Archaic Summon that Noah brought forth...was a chicken!

"..." The Imperial Adjudicator was speechless.

"..." Anastasia had no words!

"..." Noah himself was shocked as he stared at the Animus Summon in front of him, a summon of the Ultra Rare rank!
