Chapter 589 - The Bell Has Been Rung! I

In the Letalis Expanse, the powerful Terrors dwelling within had sensed the appearance of two auras at the same level as them, the auras of Controllers!

This in itself was a shocking finding as it meant that in their Novus Galaxy, more beings like them had appeared!

It would normally be a grand event and a cause for celebration, yet the Terrors actually felt a sense of foreboding when these auras appeared, their intuition telling them something they could not discern.

The enormous Terror of Aether opened its star-sized eyes as the aura it always released to monitor the boundaries of the Novus Galaxy in this Letalis Expanse where the barrier was actually the thinnest contracted slightly, trying to focus on the auras of the two appearing Controllers.

One of the auras was very similar, making the Terror feel as if he was looking at his own energy signature, but there were distinct differences with it. The other was foreign and had a distinct coldness that caused one to feel distaste.

The two Controllers had only appeared in one location briefly before two more energy signatures appeared, and then they all began shooting forth at high speeds!

The Terror of Aether had continued observing these figures briefly, but his gaze turned stern soon enough as he saw their direction was in a straight line towards the boundaries of the Novus Galaxy!

Essence erupted around the Terror as it adopted a stern expression, seeing these figures actually continuing in this direction as it affirmed its thoughts. The sense of foreboding seemed to come from this as the Terror trusted in its intuition and also began moving towards the same direction as the newly appearing Controllers.

Shockingly, the Terror of Aether was not the only one as the two other Terrors dwelling within the Letalis Expanse also began moving at this moment, all of their intuitions screaming something indiscernible to them!

Noah’s three bodies continued to chase towards the figure of Aldrich, each of his bodies occasionally teleporting as they tried to get their hands on a being who was utilizing all of his essence as a Grand Controller to run.

Noah assumed that Aldrich had used his essence with the intent of speed, velocity, or something similar that allowed him to forget everything else as the figure of this Nebula Realm expert continued to slip from his hands!

His gaze was stern as he did not know what Aldrich wanted to do, so he simply continued to give chase while utilizing his unique essence.

Streaks of light were the only things barely visible as they thundered forth even faster than light, Noah’s hands flinging out as an ability was also cast!

The skill of the Terror of Aether activated as multiple unstable stars hundreds of miles in size began to appear in front of Aldrich, the Founder expertly avoiding them as his golden figure even smashed through one!

Skill after skill was used, but Aldrich continued to use his essence only for running as they soon neared the extremely thick boundary of the Novus Galaxy.

The boundary was among the thickest that Noah had ever seen so far, being tens of miles wide as it adopted a shimmering black color.

It was a barrier that seemed to blend in with the space around it, being extremely thick yet thin at the same time as only those at the level of Controllers could discern it or even do anything when it came to this barrier.

Having the identity of a Grand Controller allowed a being to be able to leave their galaxy and actually survive while traveling outside of it, so Noah moved even faster as his three bodies tried to grasp onto Aldrich before he came in contact with this barrier!

A golden light began to emulate from the body of the Celestial Founder at this moment as it seemed his power was rising even higher, Noah’s senses shocked to find that Aldrich had without a second thought actually began burning his very Origin as a source of strength.

THUMP!

His hands reached the thick barrier at this moment as his enormous 100 miles incarnation holding three faces turned towards Noah, its body ballooning up as a small figure blazing in gold light came out from within!

Aldrich appeared in his human figure as his right hand lay on the barrier of the Novus Galaxy, his left hand pushing out the incarnation he had been in as it transformed into a thick golden barrier that covered Aldrich and the portion of the barrier of the Novus Galaxy he was in contact with. Noah was already near as he used his essence while forming an intent.

Noah’s Trident of the Sea instantly smashed onto the golden barrier Alrich laid out as trembles spread across it, the power Aldrich was releasing right now as he burned his very Origin being extremely fearsome!

This was the burning of an Origin that was first at the Nebula Realm, and also of a being holding the title of Grand Controller! Noah had no doubt that Aldrich would have been able to heavily injure him if he directed attacks while burning his origin like this, but this Founder had actually chosen to run away as he came in contact with the barrier of the Novus Galaxy!

"Remember that it was you that pushed me to do this. That it was your own fault things ended like this!"

Aldrich’s voice came out at this moment as it contained a mixture of sadness and extreme lunacy, his eyes shaking brightly as he pushed all of his power towards his hands while uttering a single intent.

Noah looked towards the figure of Aldrich incredulously as this being was not actually trying to pierce through the veil and leave the Novus Galaxy, but was doing something far sinister as he apparently planned to shatter the portion of the boundary of the Novus Galaxy he was in contact with!

But...what would this accomplish?

Noah did not know what the aim of Aldrich was as he did this, but he utilized his immense mana reserves as he laid out his own intents while trying to break through the golden barrier of a Grand Controller that was burning his very Origin.

Enormous units of mana were absorbed in order to utilize his essence as a Grand Controller to make possible what his intent wanted, the Trident of the Sea shining with a piercing light as it smashed into Aldrich’s golden barrier again, but Noah was actually able to hear the shattering of two barriers at this moment.

One was the golden barrier he broke that Aldrich had set up, the other was the portion of the miles-long barrier that represented the boundary of the Novus Galaxy, where he could now see a portion of the barrier multiple miles long and in an octagonal shape...was actually shattered!
