Chapter 318 - Casting a Veil, The Return
Noah knew that normally, the trial in the Inheritance Grounds would take Vampyres hours, if not days as they would choose to rest and recover their energies before beginning the next stage.
He had finished his run at the trial in less than an hour, and this was while clearing all 6 levels of the Inheritance, so he knew he had a lot of time before he needed to return to the Council Hall in the Underworld.
He oversaw the gradual introduction of his forces into the Ancient Blood World as the Guardian of Blood acted to protect the newly turned Vampyres if they came into contact with Vampyric Beasts that were too powerful.
Sophia continued her role as a Guide, leaving behind the protected village where she had sent Noah to the Beast World from months ago as she now acted as the representative of the Planetary Core to relay directions to the many forces at their disposal.
There was a wide array of beings from the multiple worlds, and Noah would not be able to look at and interpret all the intricacies of the connections and movements of the worlds he was connected to while also worrying about his own movements against the forces he was putting himself up against.
Sophia acted as the center point as she relayed the intentions of the Planetary System and allowed for a smooth transition of tasks and roles as the many pieces continued to move in order to create a well-oiled machine that would continue to produce powerhouses.
Many projects were initiated to begin in the newly connected Icebound World and Ancient Blood World, while another project that was in Noah’s Homeworld was seeing progress as the Atlanteans finished the construction of the first World Engine!
This was a grand achievement as they had been able to recreate a treasure which the Celestials deemed as something that went against the natural order and balance. The completion of this World Engine would allow for the displacement of a star, a drastic measure that would be used if their enemies ever tracked their coordinates and wished them harm.
The smooth progress of the project to create more World Engines reminded Noah of the supernatural Veil that was covering the Ancient Blood World, allowing it to hide amongst dead stars and escaping the sight of powerful beings for the past 1000 years.

The one who had enacted that Veil onto the Ancient Blood World was the Vampyre Progenitor... and he now held that same power as he recalled the description of one of the abilities he had just obtained.
[World Veil] :: A great undertaking that is at the level of affecting an entire star. A veil is cast around a world that prevents the detection from any and all beings. Strict requirements must be met before a veil can be cast on any world.
From the Absolute Skill >, the spectacular ability shone with a brilliant hue on the stat panel as now planned to enact it. He teleported to the inner core of his Homeworld for the first time in a while as he observed the slowly rotating hexagonal prism that had become even larger, an enormous amount of essence now circulating through it as the world continued to upgrade to higher levels.
The description of the [World Veil] ability mentioned that strict requirement had to be met before this ability could be cast on an entire world. Those requirements were a being with enough essence to actually enact such a wide-ranging skill, with the second requirement being the willingness of the particular star they wanted to perform this ability on!
Noah met both of these requirements, but this also made him ponder what exactly was the level of power of the Vampyre Progenitor that would allow him to wield such immense mana, unlike him who had access to the reserves of actual planets.
His impassive gaze put these thoughts aside as he communicated with the Planetary System and cast the skill requiring an immense amount of mana, [World Veil].
RUMBLE!
A large amount of essence collected around Noah, before it began exploding outwards as it began to move in a circular direction with him at the center. What was expanding from him was a thin film that would not be noticeable by any of the figures currently on this world, as it rapidly spread across the deeper layers and broke through to the atmosphere, continuing upwards as it spent some time to wrap around the entire world.
If one were to be looking at the blue planet from a vantage point in the vastness of space, they would notice a barely distinct red and black film of light rapidly engulf the entire planet before it quickly faded away, the signs of abundant life it gave off nowhere to be seen as at this moment, one could only observe a collection of dead asteroids floating together around a much larger dead star.

The transformation was seamless and fast as an enormous veil was cast around an entire world, reducing the chances of anyone finding or targeting it through various means!
In the next few hours, Noah continued his extremely efficient movements as he moved across the Beast World, Demon World, and Icebound World while repeating similar things, the mana at his disposal allowing for a ridiculous level of actions.
He would go into the First Realm of Hell where the rest of the Harbingers were still training later, leaving them to continue enjoying the farming of Skill Points before he gave them the option of accepting the strength of the Vampyre Bloodlines!
Seeing that everything had begun moving in the right direction for their incursion into the Ancient Blood World, Noah returned to the Inheritance Grounds where any new Vampyres trying to undertake the trial by the forces of the Pureblood Vampyres in the Underworld would be sent, and neared the still floating red portal that had brought him into this world in the first place.
Beings like the Vampyre King were able to use skill passed down over time to create portals that only lead the Inheritance Grounds, so if such an action happened again in the future, whoever intruded into the Ancient Blood World would only enter into the Inheritance Grounds for their trial. The Guardian of Blood was instructed by Noah to continue this job for now as he did not want to alert the larger forces of Vampyres in the Underworld, and most likely an even bigger force that should be where they came from in the Dark Expanse.
To these Vampyres, nothing had changed with the Inheritance Grounds or Ancient Blood World. But behind the scenes, numerous beings had already begun moving across the wide Prime World as they began to harvest its abundant resources.
Noah stopped briefly as he cast another newly obtained ability, the [Unique Origin] that was under the > Absolute Skill. A red light covered him as his aura mimicked a Pureblood Vampyre, the immense aura of the Vampyre Progenitor being hidden away as he wanted to observe the state of the Vampyres currently before deciding on whether to reveal himself.
Seeing that he missed nothing, Noah entered through the portal as brief darkness clouded his gaze, before brightness soon took over as he returned to the wide Vampyre Council Hall.
His observations were met with a new scene as in the wide hall, only three beings were left behind, none of the powerful Vampyre Elders anywhere in sight.
There was Prince Cassius that was standing with his father, the Vampyre King, along with the long legs of a curvaceous woman who looked to be in her prime sitting on the only bedazzled throne in the hall.
They noticed Noah’s return right away as Prince Cassius looked at Noah and noticed the changes in his demeanor, as well as the silver streaks permeated through his dark head of hair and the distinct devilish handsomeness that he only saw in himself. They also felt a strong resonance of blood that indicated Noah had become one of them, and a being that was a Pureblood Vampyre at that! Prince Cassius nodded with an expression that seemed to say ’as expected’, with his father looking at Noah with a deep gaze and then nodding as well, apparently not let down.
To them, it looked like Noah had made huge gains in the Inheritance Grounds, being able to obtain the bloodline of a Pureblood Vampyre as they sensed the abundant aura of blood that could barely be discernable in the eyes of the Vampyres.
Yet, the other person in the room, the Royal Vampyre Elena, had a drastic change in expression as her gaze went from a welcoming smile and into one of absolute shock!
Noah’s sharp gaze observed this minute difference of change on this new being he hadn’t seen before as he quickly processed something, a red light shining in his eyes as they landed on this woman who had somehow seen something that the other two beings in this wide hall did not notice.
He had gloriously returned to the Royal Castle of the Vampyres in the Underworld, an unexpected scene greeting him as he walked out of the red portal leading to the Ancient Blood World!
